How can i simulate magnetron antenna as a source in waveguide by CST? we need to find the best position with the lowest reflection ?
if you know that its not possible in CST and you did it in other programs, pleas recommend it
thanks

What I got from your problem is that you are exciting a waveguide by a loop. Magnetron antenna is a loop wire. This type of coupling is magnetic field coupling. So, you have to place a loop in the maximum magnetic field location in the waveguide.

Hello,
Magnetron antenna is used for excitation at a particular frequency, as its dominant mode is TM01 mode because of slow wave structure, so your waveguide should also be designed for particular mode otherwise final structure is complex one. First, which type of magnetron you are going to use, cavity or linear, that should be first decided. As an excitation source, you can use a loop wire antenna like helical TWT antenna. Decide position of source from the waveguide and design magnetron as an loop antenna in CST or any other software.
Thanks,

thank you so match for answering
i removed the magnetron from a domestic oven and its cavity kind of course. i need to provide a high electric field power in a rectangular waveguide for my project and the dominate mode of waveguide is TE10 (as other rectangular waveguide )
can you pleas say that what is the kind of magnetron antenna??? and is it propagate MW in all directions ??
