What is the method to develop hepatocellular carcinoma in rat or mice models?
I have to work on hepatocellular carcinoma in rats or mice using any chemical method.

Aflatoxin B1(AFB1) also induce HCC, but it induce hcc slower than DEN.

You can chemically induce using DEN (N-NITROSO-METHYL-ETHYLAMINE) and others to induce HCC. You can check out this paper.

You can use our model of NDEA/DEN induced hepatocarcinogenesis (paper attached). This model works perfectly fine with rats. You can also download some more papers about the model from the researchgate page.
