Structure data on superconducting tetragonal-phase superconducting crystals in the Y-Ba-Cu-O system at a critical temperature of about 50 K are presented. It is shown that the tetragonal phases, as well as the rhombic ones, possess superconducting properties. The presence or the absence of these properties is connected with the content of oxygen, which is in turn determined by the existence of oxide phases.
