Table 5 shows that the OCP values shifted to a more positive potential when sage extract was added to the blank solution (3% NaCl), from −502.9 to −501.0 mV for 0.6 g/L and −453 mV for 0.4 g/L sage-extract concentration. The shift in corrosion potential in the presence of sage extracts (0.4 and 0.6 g/L) ranged from 1.9 to 49.9 mV, indicating that both sage extracts act as mixed-type corrosion inhibitors, since the difference in corrosion potential values does not exceed 85 mV [20,24,36,[42][43][44][45].
