Introduction
In collaboration with Dr. Thomas Skovholt, the edited book Expertise in Counseling and Psychotherapy: Master Therapist Studies From Around the World was released by Oxford University Press. The book contains 7 qualitative studies on expert therapists from the USA, Canada, Portugal, Czech Republic, Singapore, Korea, and Japan. The final chapter is a qualitative meta-analysis of these 7 studies. We conclude by presenting a synthesis model of therapist expertise.
