Objective – This study investigates the readiness for artificial intelligence (AI) adoption in library and information centres of Pakistani universities. The projected outcomes of this study are expected to contribute to the development of best practices for effectively motivating university administrators and preparing librarians for adopting AI in library and information centres. Methods – A theoretical framework combining the technology-organization-environment (TOE) framework and the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) guided this qualitative study. Interviews were conducted with 27 senior representatives, including library managers and registrars, from 27 universities across four provinces and the capital city, Islamabad. A systematic approach was employed to analyze the data. Results – The findings indicate that the concept of AI adoption in Pakistani university libraries is new. The library and information sector of Pakistan is slow in adopting AI, which could have implications for its future competitiveness, despite the push for AI adoption by university librarians and administrators. The readiness for AI adoption in this sector is influenced by factors such as organizational technological practices, financial resources, university size, and data management and protection concerns. Conclusion – Library managers and researchers can implement the TOE framework and TRI scale to facilitate AI adoption in a manner that is relevant to library and information settings in Pakistan as well as other parts of the world. Our research indicates that most adoptions are still in their nascent phases, and numerous library managers feel uneasy due to either uncertainties about the precise benefits AI can bring to their libraries or a lack of knowledge and skills for its effective implementation. To manage the networks of internal and external stakeholders essential for successful AI adoption, universities should consider appointing individuals with a specialized knowledge of AI within their libraries.

In recent years, depending on information technology, knowledge and skills, university libraries have established a new "user-centered" data service system, which is called personalized information service. Although this service has made some progress in recent years, these systems have only achieved a certain amount of personalized information services. Multi-core processor is the basic process unit of high-performance cloud computing node, which is an important basis to achieve system security, high-performance, low-power consumption and other high-performance requirements. Cloud computing node is one of the core components in the high-performance computer system architecture, in addition to the acceleration node, master control unit, communication system, etc., its efficiency has constituted an important basic condition for the realization of the "high efficiency" goal of the system. The emergence of multi-core processors and cloud computing platforms has created conditions for the development of personalized mobile information service platforms in university libraries. Under the technical support of multi-core processors and cloud computing platforms, it is also an important goal of mobile libraries in the future to meet the needs of users to search library data information at any time and provide users with diversified data services. At present, the knowledge service platform of university library can not only actively select and recommend relevant materials for users according to their knowledge preferences, data utilization habits and academic backgrounds, but also enable service users to quickly obtain the borrowing expiration prompt, independent consultation and retrieval and other personalized information functions, and carry out more in-depth personalized intelligent knowledge consulting services. Based on multi-core processor and cloud computing platform, this paper develops personalized mobile information service platform of university library.

This paper aims to report on the adoption and use of mobile apps, including in-house and available in the app store by the Indian libraries for carrying out library services. An online survey was conducted to collect data from 229 LIS professionals from divergent types of libraries across the country. The study found that only 27 libraries developed their dedicated library mobile apps for catering services to the patron. The primary services offered were e-resources facility (92.60%), reference query (88.88%) and SMS alert (77.77%). The study also found the effective integration of social media apps by the libraries for sharing information regarding library services (74.67%) and upcoming events (68.12%), highlighting the library collection (62%), reference advisory (55.45%) and streaming videos lively (26.20%). The most used social media apps were WhatsApp (69.43%), Facebook (66.37%) and YouTube (65.93%). However, the unavailability of apps in offline mode and storage problems were the major hurdles cited by the professionals in using apps. The study results suggest opportunities for libraries to develop their library app to satisfy users' information needs.

Nowadays technology changes the means of education. Traditional learning take place of e-learning, which use the online as well as electronic media through learning. Those approach provides the global education for worldwide students.it will bridge the gap between rural and urban and keeps the student updated. E-learning provides the number of courses, specialization, topics of various areas. It also provide students student online material and education facilities such as you tube, videos of lectures, material through pdf, ppts and document type. Student role is important in the learning process. Student performance mostly evaluates through the marks. Elearning environment also measure the student performance through the e-environment attributes. Student behavior analyze by the how many times the visited the e-learning environment, how many days attended sessions, checks the announcements etc. This paper analyze the e-environment aspects using data mining classification techniques.

As a part of user experience, user emotion has rarely been studied in mobile libraries. Specifically, with the proposed emotional model in combination with the Pleasure-Arousal-Dominance (PAD) Emotion Model and the Five Factor Model (FFM), we evaluate user emotions on the mobile library’s three IS features (i.e., user interface, interaction quality, and service environment). An experience procedure with three tasks has been designed to collect data. 50 participants were enrolled, and they were asked to fill in questionnaires right after the experience. The correlations among the PAD emotions were examined. Specifically, users have a low perception of pleasure (P), high perception of arousal (A), and low perception of dominance (D). However, these three emotional states were not always significantly correlated with each other. This study extends mobile library research by focusing on users’ emotional experience. Specifically, the detailed PAD emotions have been examined. This study provides a new approach for application developers and managers to evaluate the user experience of an application.

In recent years, with the rapid development of modern technology and the continuous promotion of information technology, information technology has been widely used in modern performing arts. Information management has become the most practical and effective method and means in performing arts training management, but as the amount of various data grows exponentially, the requirements for computing processing power and speed for massive amounts of data and information are also increasing day by day. This article aims to study the use of edge computing to solve the problems of high latency and high cost when traditional cloud computing centers provide services. In response to these problems, this paper proposes a data acquisition and processing system architecture based on edge computing, which uses edge computing to mine the computing power of edge terminals in the network, performs partial or all calculations at the edge terminals, processes private data, and reduces cloud computing. The center’s computing, transmission bandwidth load, and energy consumption, combined with cloud computing, provide data acquisition, processing, and analysis solutions with low latency and high processing capabilities. This article details how to optimize edge server development to minimize access latency and consider network reliability when requesting access to edge servers. This paper uses the proposed edge server deployment algorithm and system load optimization, which can effectively reduce the network delay and system load of the edge server, and the experimental results show that the system performance is improved by 23.5% after effective optimization.
