We report three cases of pruritic dermatitis with erythematous maculopapules, having a similar clinical presentation, in summer, and caused by two different arthropods. In wandering diagnosis since sometimes several months, patients have made entomologic investigations in their home. Two of three samples, have shown an infestation by Anobium puncta...

The antimalarials chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are key medications in the long‐term therapy of systemic and cutaneous lupus erythematosus, a disease characterized by a plethora of potential cutaneous manifestations. Reports on the frequency and type of dermatologic side effects of antimalarials are sparse and heterogenous, ranging from 0.1% to more than 10% of treated patients and including the very general term “cutaneous eruption” as well as dyspigmentation, alopecia, hair bleaching, pruritus, polymorphous light eruption, Stevens‐Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis. A 20‐month‐old healthy baby was referred during the summertime for a 15 and 20 days‐history of two erythematous scaling patches of the axillar (fig.1a) and popliteal (fig.1b) folds, respectively, slightly itching at onset. The clinical history was mute except for contacts with cats in the last months and anti‐Meningococcal vaccination one month before, followed by fever and transient erythema of the chest.
