Is there any reference that shows that  a Leishmania infected sandfly when bites to a mammalian host could not lead to successful infection. This may be because at that time the vector may be carrying the pool of parasites majorly with the avirulent ones. Because different morphological forms have different virulence.

I am looking for types of iatrogenic infections caused by insuitable human handling into veretinary area. The iatrogenic infections could occur due an inadequated use of contaminated syringes or needles use, through of drugs applied on animals or some another type of syringes utilization.
Thanks in advances.
Relevant answer
Answer
Most infectious diseases/pathogens in animals can be spread by indirect contact and/or blood contact, thus most can be iatrogenically spread with poor hygienic routines regarding personal hygiene, equipment, drugs and patient flow . If you restrict your question to only things possibly carried by contamined syringes, it is still going to be a long list of bloodborne viruses, bacteria and parasites....
Which animal species are you interested in? Examples in horses, (in)famous outbreaks spread or suspected to be spread iatrogenically by injections include equine infectious anemia virus and equine piroplasmosis, and poor hygiene within animal health care has caused outbreaks of postoperative infections with MRSA and genital infections with CEM.

Organ culture revealed highly mucoid pink coloured colonies on Mac Conkey agar. On gram staining, Gram negative bacilli were observed. So P. multocida is ruled out and colony morphology suggests Klebsiella. I want to go for further characterization of the bacterium. But is Klebsiella that pathogenic and prevalent in rabbits?

Sometime the pathological gross lesion present in organs not produced from single organism but from more than organism. May be some pathological lesion related to another bacteria or viruses. For examples in Camels there are different pathological lesions were recorded in apparently healthy camels and no bacteria were isolated from the lungs which mean may be another agents may be present either parasitic, viral, or toxic agents.

I tried to suspend the bacterial pallet with PBS-glycerol solution but Mycobacterium bovis seems to be waxy in nature and does not mix with the solution.
What is the best method to freeze them so I can use them in my ongoing experiment?
Relevant answer
Answer
Not sure if this will help, but I have frozen other bacterial colonies in a 50:50 PBS:Glycerol solution before, so increasing the % glycerol in the solution may help.
