To start learning about the impact of transport systems on exports in Central Asian countries, here are a few steps you could follow:
  1. Learn about the transportation system in Central Asian countries: Start by learning about the transportation infrastructure in Central Asian countries, including the modes of transportation available, the quality of roads, railways, ports, and airports, and the challenges and opportunities for transportation development in the region. This will give you a basic understanding of the context in which exports take place.
  2. Study the impact of transportation on trade and exports: Research and analyze the ways in which the quality and efficiency of transportation affect trade and exports in Central Asian countries. This could include studying the costs of transportation, the time it takes to transport goods, the reliability of transportation systems, and the ways in which transportation affects access to markets and competitiveness.
  3. Explore the role of international trade agreements and policies: Investigate the international trade agreements and policies that affect Central Asian countries, and how they impact the transportation systems and the ability to export goods. This could include looking at tariffs, trade barriers, and customs procedures, as well as free trade agreements, regional trade blocs, and other policies that affect trade.
  4. Learn about the types of exports and the markets: Understand the types of goods that are exported from Central Asian countries, and the markets in which they are sold. This will help you understand the demand for transportation and the ways in which transportation affects access to markets.
  5. Analyze case studies and data: Look at case studies and data on the transportation and export performance of Central Asian countries, to gain insights into the specific challenges and opportunities faced in the region. This could involve looking at specific industries, regions, or countries, as well as analyzing trends over time.
Overall, to learn about the impact of transport systems on exports in Central Asian countries, it is important to take a comprehensive approach that considers the transportation infrastructure, the impact on trade and exports, international policies, the types of exports and markets, and specific case studies and data.

In order to carry out sustainable agriculture in arid regions, it is necessary to use water efficiently, use water-saving agro-technologies. One of the water-saving agro-technologies in agriculture is mulching. A large amount of water can be saved by setting up a garden using mulching. In arid hilly regions of Uzbekistan (average annual rainfall is 200-300 mm, evaporation is more than 1000 mm) experiments were carried out to establish a garden using mulching. According to the results of the experiment, several fruit trees were harvested without irrigation. It was found that it is more cost-effective to establish a garden of apple, apricot, peach, quince and almond trees using mulching.

I am giving an Idea to a governmental organization to give research grants for epidemilogial surveys of non communicable disease such as Cardiological disease, dental caries and etc.
We have 14 regions in Uzbekistan and have 33 million population. As far as I know there is no true numbers about prevalance of diseases.
So I think we need to work with experienced specialist to calibrate our domestic researchers and get grants for the epidemioligcal survey, then develop strategic action plan to primarily prevent these diseases.
So I would like to ask if I am thinking right and I also would like to invite experienced specialist for collaboration.
Relevant answer
Answer
It would be a great thing to initiate in your country. According to WHO now most of the people are dying because of NCD and cardiovascular diseases are the topmost reasons. Similarly, most of the countries' governments do not provide any funds to do research and program to promote oral health and raise awareness pertaining to Dental Diseases. So, if you have any scope to get funds from your government, please do so.

In Central Asia region some countries had joined to Euroasia custon union but others still weiting for finding best ways of integration. For example Uzbekistan postponed its joining to Euroasia custom union taking into count Geopolitical situation in the region.
Relevant answer
Answer
Europe was not ripe neither when the European integration process started... After WWII, the 06 founding member states realised that international politics is much more than a zero-sum game. Of course, they had their own project (including a European Union), but they first focused on Euratom, the Coal & Steel community (at that time, binding states by coal & steel was the best way to prevent a new war...) and the EEC. It took more than 50 years to reach where we are nowadays with a European Union (but we still face challenges following internal dissent amongst the MS and the consequences of the Brexit).
The EU, Russia and China have their separate interests in the region: Russia via the EAEU (1st step being an Eurasian regional integration, then potential partnerships with the EU could be possible...) or the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), China not only with the Shangai Cooperation Organisation (SCO, including fighting terrorism, religious extremism and separatism) but also with its One Belt One Road (OBOR) Initiative (or BRI); and the EU with its willingness to engage with bilateral agreements (the ENPs).
To counter these trends, (some) Central Asian states relied on multivectorism (Teleuova, 2015) while dimensioning their foreign policy...
The question should therefore be:
- what type of regional development do the Central Asian states want (economic, military or political)?
- if centered on economic integration within the EAEU project, why do we only have Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan within the EAEU (Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan aren't EAEU MS)?

Is it possible to get daily or monthly runoff data for the Central Asian rivers (especially for Uzbekistan)?
Relevant answer
Answer
Hi Dear Juliev
In large scale I think the data assimilation based on GLDAS is one of the best sources for runoff and other hydrological features. in the following link you can find more about GLDAS :
Moreover, you can use eartH2Observe in order to access several large scale and regional scale models that simulate runoff and other hydrological terms. I think it is more complete and comperhnsive than GLDAS. Try it..
Hopefuly that works

I am working on landslide susceptibility assessment for Uzbekistan and need better DEM for analysis. If someone could give any idea about it would be very useful.
Relevant answer
Answer
Generation of DEMs from SAR data requires quite a lot of computing capacity. Besides that, it is not an easy task if you are unexperienced with SAR data because it involves a lot of parameters and decisions which have to be considered well-grounded.
Breaking it down into managable pieces, DEMs can be created by:
  1. Downloading an image pair from the same track (from the Copernicus Science Hub or ASF Vertex, for example),
  2. Co-registering both scenes (overlays the two images at the sub-pixel level),
  3. Calculation of an inferferogram (stores phase information) and coherence layer (as an indicator of the quality which can be achieved),
  4. Optionally: Filtering or multi-looking the interferogram,
  5. Unwrapping the interferogram (converts phase cycles to continuous information),
  6. Convert unwrapped phase to elevation (converts phasse to absolute values, meters in this case).
ESA has published nice documents on InSAR, especially for beginners:

I am looking for entrepreneurs dataset that covers more observations. All what I could find are two datasets from different sources. First dataset was on the World Bank site that covering the period 2002-2014. The second dataset was on GEM site that covering the period between 2001-2015.
Relevant answer
Answer
Hi Hisham
There are a number of places you can try to get access to data on entrepreneurs. The OECD have collected data on this for many years. I have added a link to their data website. You can search records by individual country. The World Bank also keep records on this area. In the US, the Bureau of Labor Statistics also collects information on Entrepreneurship and the US economy. The Eurostat programme was started in 2007, and collect statistics on entrepreneurship. The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor have collected such data since 1999, and their reports are freely downloadable.
There are a huge number of bodies who collect all sorts of data. For example, in the US, the CIA collect a mass of data on the GDP of every country in the globe, as does the World Bank. There are a huge number of places where you can collect data. You just need to know exactly what you are looking for in order to home in on the exact data you need.
The following links should help you get started.
Happy searching.
Regards
Bob
