In a world of environmentally dirty markets, how we treat the pollution problem determines the nature of each market and its structure, which raises the question: Can you see the similarities and differences between Pollution production markets, Pollution reduction markets, and Pollution management markets?
Think about it, what do you think?

Answer
Hans, good day. Your last comment not directly related to the question but probably inspired by my line research and thinking that you have seen came to mind today when I came across a called for a climate change paper that is peer reviewed, but goes against climate change consensus in a clear cut manner made by climate change scientists. .
Scientists urge top publisher to withdraw faulty climate study
When the status quo has the tools for strong blow back as it should be expected there will be strong blow back, right or wrong, usually writing contradicting or invalidating articles or comments or as in this case a direct call to withdraw the published paper.
When the status quo is in paradigm shift mode then there is a paradigm shift induced knowledge gap, which makes blow back behavior a more difficult task as consistent with Thomas Kuhn’s ideas the status quo has difficulties seeing outside the box and I have pointed out in my papers that the knowledge base of the status quo paradigm is left behind when in paradigm shift mode.
I think now that your last comment was a message to me to be careful with what I wish with my outside the box thinking, which I respect. I have been trying to be very careful.
Let’s leave it here to stop moving away from the core of the question at hand here about these three different types of markets.

Hello!
So I was gifted this metate from an old time friend (who lives, and has lived his whole life in Bell County, Texas, U.S.A.), and I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding the artifacts' age and potential association with the indigenous people of Texas (most likely central Texas)?
I tried to look up information for the surrounding counties of Texas, and their indigenous people, and I could not find any definitive information. It certainly does not look like a modern replica, as the previous owner of this artifact has a very keen eye for spotting replicas.
Could it possibly be an artifact from the Buttermilk Creek complex (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buttermilk_Creek_complex) found at the Debra L. Friedkin Paleo-Indian archaeological site in Bell County, Texas? Or could it be a Comanche metate? Any information or potential information leads would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your time!

Tax cuts to the rich is the prefer idea on how to promote and expand economic growth in supply side economics despite knowing it does not work as expected. Yet, this policy is usually the first choice in supply side run democracies like in the USA or now the UK when supply side promoters are in power.
Any policy that worsens inequality should be expected in practice to negatively affect economic growth as under extreme inequality or worsening inequality the traditional trickle down should be expected to be mute or not to work as intended. And this raises the question, tax cuts to the rich and the embudo effect, is that why the trickled down effect does not work as intended?
What do you think?
Relevant answer
Answer
Am in agreement with your findings, with respect to efecto embudo.

Our results therefore provide strong evidence against the influential political–economic idea that tax cuts for the rich ‘trickle down’ to boost the wider economy.

The choices usually in conflict are, should we fix the root cause of the problem or should we just manage the problem?
The case of the pandemic shows that there were those who opposed the solution of the problem with Covid 19 vaccines to attack the root cause (the virus) of the problem to minimize severity of infection or chances of hospitalization or changes of death; and those who just wanted the Covid 19 to be managed in such a way as to facilitate the reaching of natural immunity regardless of death levels or severity of consequences of just managing the Covid 19 problem.
In the case of the Covid 19 problem most countries if not all, chose to attack the root cause problem with the vaccine.
In the case of the environmental pollution problem, the international and local community is focused since 2012 on managing the pollution generation problem instead of fixing the root cause of the pollution generation problem(distorted market prices).
In the case of the pollution generation problem most countries if not all, chose to avoid fixing the root cause pollution generation problem with green markets in 2012 as the environmental cost internalization as vaccine, and went instead with the way of managing the pollution generation problem with environmental pollution management based markets.
And this raises the question, is the goal of dwarf green markets like climate change markets to reach a level of natural environmental immunity locally and globally through pollution management? While leaving the root cause of the pollution generation problem unfixed?
What do you think? Yes, then why? No, then why not?

Dear Lucio Muñoz,
I will also answer your question by referring to the economic crisis indirectly caused by the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic in 2020. When the World Health Organization announced the state of a global epidemic at the beginning of March 2020, i.e. of the pandemic, the reaction of the financial markets was too nervous, too deep, too exaggerated. The behavior of stock exchange investors and the speculation of large financial institutions worked. Some governments fearing that there would be a shortage of beds in hospitals for seriously ill people with Covid-19 introduced lockdowns, which caused serious economic problems in many industries and sectors of the economy. In order for these decisions not to cause protests from the public, the government granted non-returnable subsidies to business entities on the basis of printed money in the public finance system cooperating with the central bank. These actions started an increase in inflation in 2021. Now, when we ask whether lockdowns have been applied to selected sectors of the economy in the context of rapidly developed vaccines and the scale of the severely ill with Covid-19 population and deaths from Covid-19 and comorbidities, different answers are coming up. The difference between the so-called the health crisis caused by the pandemic announced by the WHO and the climate crisis is that the pandemic appeared suddenly and was something new, and the climate crisis is being realized as a long-term, multi-year process. An interesting point is that so far WHO has not lifted the pandemic state, despite the fact that in many countries the pandemic has already been replaced with a state of increased virological risk, the anti-pandemic restriction has been lifted, the number of people seriously ill with Covid-19 has significantly decreased and the government has already recognized other problems as more important, which should be solved systematically and with the use of funds from the public finance system of the state. Such problems are currently double-digit and still growing inflation, and raised interest rates. by central banks and the economy entering a recession, energy crisis, food crisis, climate crisis. However, now referring to your question, I state that what you define as dwarf green markets, i.e. incomplete application of sustainability, pro-environmentalism, pro-climate in economic policy, is a kind of prosthesis of actions that should be implemented as part of a full pro-environmental and pro-climate transformation of the economy and are not realistically implemented. The reason is resistance in the spheres of business and politics, the lobby of large mining, mining and energy companies, as well as refineries operating in the sector or for the benefit of the dirty combustion energy sector. These sectors are key factors in slowing down the green transformation. Therefore, instead of fully carrying out the pro-environmental and pro-climate transformation of the classic growth, brown, linear surplus economy into a sustainable, green, zero-emission, zero-growth economy and a circular economy, prostheses of these processes are created, i.e. what you refer to as dwarf green markets. Thus, a short-sighted approach still prevails instead of long-term and strategic planning. Ad hoc measures are still being taken instead of introducing profound changes in the area of pro-environmental and pro-climate transformation of the economy. The problem is still being swept under the rug instead of solving the problem in a multi-faceted manner and reaching the source of the problem. Contrary to the situation from the 1st wave of the pandemic (spring 2020), we know what to do in terms of the pro-environmental and pro-climate transformation of the economy, but we still do not fully do it, assuming that it will be done somehow. On the other hand, there is little time for a full pro-environmental and pro-climate transformation of the economy, thanks to which it would be possible to significantly slow down the global warming process, which has been progressing since the first industrial revolution and accelerating in recent years, and to significantly reduce the scale of the potential negative effects of the climate catastrophe, which may already appear in the current XXI century. In this way, instead of carrying out a complete, thorough (with reaching the source of the problem and taking into account a long-term strategy) pro-environmental and pro-climate transformation of the economy, prostheses of this process are created and dwarf green markets are created as you have described it. For example, companies and enterprises add to their missions and development strategies the issues of achieving the goals of sustainable development, pro-environmental and pro-climate responsibility of business, although they do not really do much in this matter. They present their new green missions in advertising campaigns with their new product and service offers, because they see that the level of pro-environmental awareness of citizens, i.e. their potential customers, is growing. On the other hand, penalties for introducing toxic waste into the natural environment, for CO2 emissions to the atmosphere, for poisoning the natural environment and increasing the incidence of various diseases occurring in humans and animals, etc., are not always allocated to solving these problems, to increasing the scale activities implemented under the environmental and pro-climate policy. Probably many people still do not realize that it is not much time left.

As a consequence of the 2012 green market paradigm shift avoidance all countries are left on their own to address the environmental crisis without a common green market framework to promote, expand, and nurture economic activity systematically.
All countries are following different versions of dwarf green markets and different definitions of green, some of them that are inconsistent with green market thinking, but politically viable....But politically viable, does not make it right as when you burn the gas you get CO2.....
For example, the EU came out with the definition of "green gas" to solve a political problem, in an environmentally unfriendly manner.. Now the US came out with the definition of "polluting gas" as CO2 from burning it is air pollution to address a political problem, but in an environmentally friendly way…. and this raises the question, .Who is wrong: The EU / Green gas or the USA / Polluting gas?.

Yes, but unfortunately only in theory at the moment. In order for the socio-economic system built on the model of full green, pro-environmental, pro-climate socialism based on a sustainable, green circular economy to be successful in comparison with (as you call it) dwarf green capitalism, it is necessary to significantly increase the pro-environmental awareness of citizens and significantly increase the scale of creation and implementation of new eco-innovations and green technologies on an industrial scale, thanks to which it will be possible to significantly accelerate the efficient implementation of the process of pro-environmental transformation of the classic growth, brown, linear excess economy into a sustainable, green, zero-emission zero-growth economy and a circular economy, and to build a system of economically profitable, pro-environmental and pro-climate economic ventures.

Green markets are supposed to be driven by pollution reduction based profit making so in the long run produce at the lowest green market price possible while at the same time transitioning to a clean economy, a non-pollution, full or dominant renewable energy based economy .
But instead of green markets, we have dwarf green markets, cleared by dwarf green market prices delinked from green market pricing and delinked from clean market transition, a situation that resembles a black hole as dwarf green markets are not green markets and they are not traditional markets.
The above discussion raises the question: Does the 2012 green market paradigm shift avoidance means that we are living today in an environmental black hole under management? I think yes, what do you think?
Relevant answer
Answer
Dear Nicolay, the research focused on how to go to the green economy as first step to transition to the clean economy was done just before and during 2012 rio +20, but then they did not go the way of green markets and the idea of transitioning to the green economy was buried within SDS environmental sustainability goal I think....
That is why I will start sharing my ideas step by step on how it should have been done or may be done in the future of there is time....
All starts with the dirty economy and the two key steps to take to go from dirty to clean eco omies while being financially and environmentally responsible...in the business side and in the consumer side...
I will share those ideas once published...

One of the central concerns the 1987 WCED had was the need to go beyond economic as usual in social and environmental terms to make development socially and environmentally friendly, and the UNCSD 2012 saw the move to green markets and green economies as the way to go, but there was no move to green markets....
This has led apparently to two versions of environmentally friendly economics that are supposed to take us beyond economic thinking as usual, but only one does, g,reen economics and dwarf green economics... and these two different concepts are apparently described as the same when they are not. Which raises the academic question; Green economics vrs dwarf green economics: Can you see the differences ?
Contrasting the two types of economics should free the differences.

The crises the WCED 1987 found were social and environmental in nature. The environmental crisis came from the fact that we were living under full or almost full non-renewable energy based economies that produce free pollution, and we needed to move away from them towards a world of clean economies, where economic activity is run through full or almost full renewable energy sources.
A move beneficial to both, the economy and the environment, if green markets are set up in between the pollution based economy and the clean economy and use them as a smooth transition mechanism. However, since 2012 the world went the way of dwarf green markets a la environmental externality management.
Which raises the questions, Does the decision to go green market paradigm shift avoidance since 2012 blocked the smooth transition path from the pollution based economy to the clean economy available in 2012? If yes, why?
I think YES, what do you think?

Answer
Dear Lucio,
As you have more than once suggested to me that you prefer short answers, so this time I will answer briefly without arguing my reply at length. Well, in my view, if we are looking at the issue globally rather than regionally then, at least from the original premise, the decision to go green in 2012 and other similar such developments are unlikely to block the path of transition from a brown, unsustainable, combustion-based pollution economy to a clean, sustainable, green closed loop economy. However, problems arise when closely synonymous new concepts e.g. in the field of green, sustainable economy are defined and interpreted differently by different interest groups, by different stakeholders. In addition, these different interpretations are usually deliberate as a result of lobbying by certain interest groups operating in the business and/or political spheres, who are not interested in carrying out a pro-environmental transformation of the economy and developing a clean, sustainable, green circular economy.

Dariusz

But where is the boundary of criminal law protection?
How can protection be achieved for the entire data life cycle (fetch, process, expose, store, and destroy)?
What are the differences between criminal law obligations undertaken by different subjects (platforms, countries and individuals)?
please give me your answer
Relevant answer
Answer
Laws will definitely govern the life cycle, as you put it, of any data collected. Needless to say, different jurisdictions/countries will have their own respective laws on the matter. One concept of relatively recent development in "destroying" data collected is the "right to be forgotten."

There is a famous Venn diagram (see attachment) that shows 93% of crashes are due to drivers: 57% solely due to drivers, 27% due to their interactions with roadway, 6% due to their interactions with vehicle, and 3% due to their interactions with both. But these figures are from very old studies:
Rumar (1985) compared statistics from a 1975 UK and a 1980 US study. The US study was based on an Indiana study as follows:

Also the date in the shoreline column should be in the format mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss, which means the date should be a string of 22 precision as seen in the attachment. You can just add a new field for the layer in this format and change the option in default parameter dialogue box.

I'm interested to know if there have been any quantitative or semi-quantitative studies of geological diversity (complexity) between different countries? For example, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan are often noted for their geological diversity whereas large areas of Australia and the USA exhibit lesser diversity.
Geological setting, tectonic history, and the obvious difference in the size of these countries is obvious. However, I've yet to find a study that compares and contrasts the scale at which variation in geology occurs.
Any, recommend studies would be greatly appreciated.

The coming of exism movements in 2016 led to the coming of extreme democratic outcomes within majority rule based liberal democracies like in the USA.
And this brought a change in the nature of democracy as it has led to a shift from true democracy thinking to temporary democratic authoritarianism thinking.
We are probably familiar with the structure of the forces competing for power in a true democracy, I think. but not with the forces competing in a temporary democratic authoritarianism system. Which raises the question, what is the structure of temporary democratic authoritarianism? Any ideas?
Feel free to express your own views so we can exchange ideas in a positive academic environment as this is an academic question, not a political one.

If there is a paradigm shift, Thomas Kuhn told us in the structure of scientific revolutions, those inside the box cannot see it and they will resist it at the beginning…. During the time of resistance in my view “they are a kind of living in the past”….
The question and focus here is: What is the structure of temporary democratic authoritarianism?"
This is my first opportunity to read your response to my question(s) because I had to work on several manuscripts, in case you are wondering, (1) a theoretical paper on Sacajawea as the matriarchal leader of the United States of America; and (2) East-West influences on Derek Walcott, the 1992 Nobel Award Winner in Literature, the first African American to win it, which blazed a pathway for Toni Morrison, in 1993 the first African American woman to win a Nobel Prize in Literature. If I had been here, I would have thanked you for responding to my request to define "outside of the box." However, it is true that my question, or rebuttal and supporting timeline, with regard to your assertion of what you posited as Trumponomics' dependency on warfare has remained unanswered.
I apologize in advance if there is another delay. Today's email brought a request that I revise a manuscript I wrote a couple of months ago and submitted for consideration for publication as a refereed journal article, which tries to argue my case for the multifaceted depiction of Capitalism in a classic film by Hitchcock, in which I also attempt to indicate ways in which the film coincides with the ideas of Newton, Einstein, Darwin, Freud, Marx, and Veblen. Needless to say, there is a good deal of generalized topical material, which makes a study like this quite vulnerable to (constructive) criticism, for which I am grateful.
I am still interested in knowing whether or not you still hold the view that what you call "Trumponomics" is inextricably bound together with a wartime economy, or have you changed your view?
With best wishes.

But have you noticed that some scientists are allowed to get away with it. For instance a dairy problem in USA will be described as such, and a methodology will be sought to solve it and results presented. However, work from other regions of the world would be turned down because it does not sound like it will be beneficial to other part of the world or of no interest to other scientists.

However, member states take their own military security in the context of external borders. How do you think this situation affects the Union's acting in integrity? The USA has many military bases in the most peaceful lands of the world. Especially the bases in Germany are noteworthy. Recently, the military presence of the USA, which has been concentrated especially in Greece, is at the forefront. It should also be noted the military deployment of the USA on the border of the former Soviet Union. How would you evaluate the US presence on the eastern border of the European Union? I am trying to reconstruct the evolution of the livestock herd in the XIX century but can't find any data prior to 1840. I am particularly interested in finding out the size of the national herd from 1780-1800. Any help would be really weldome.

From the historical perspective it is important to more strictly define your goal. Remember that in the 1787 the newly formed united states did not extend much beyond the east coast. Before 1787 you would need to discuss the various 'states' as countries united under the articles of confederation. Also, the Spanish crown had settlements in New Mexico for a long time by then Santa Fe was founded somewhere around 1610 (I would have to look it up). So I would say first narrow down your question ie. "Herd size in North America between 1780-1800," "The American States prior to 1787," or "The United States from 1787-1800." Good sources might be records for provisions from the Continental Army, and the first US census conducted under the us constitution in 1790. Both might be available at the Library of Congress or National Archives. Overall sounds like a very cool project! Please feel free to DM if you need ideas of where to look! Good Luck!

Paradigm death, shift and flip expectation theory suggest that a perfect paradigm flips to take the form of the perfect inverse opposite paradigm, and when it does that the order of political and legal loyalty flips at the same time. And when, the opposite process takes place, the inverse is expected to happen.
When the capitalism a la Adam Smith model(TM = aBc) was flipped in 1848 to take the form of the Karl Marx red socialism model(KM = Abc) the order of political and legal loyalty that existed in the pure capitalism system then was flipped to the inverse political and legal loyalty that existed in red socialism countries during the period of red socialism(1848-1991).
Yet in 1991, when red socialism fell and China flipped back to pure capitalism, China did not flip its political and legal loyalty structure to that of Adam Smith’s capitalism structure, but kept the one it had from the old red socialism era.
And this raises the question, why was China able to flip back to pure capitalism in 1991 after the fall of red socialism and still maintain intact the order of political and legal loyalty that it had before the fall?
Any ideas? Please, share them, but Please keep in mind, this is an academic question, not a political one.
Relevant answer
Answer
The People's Republic of China is the only country that has been able to build capitalism under the banner of communism.
Left-wing economists are convinced that such a model gives the maximum advantage precisely because of centralization. But if you talk to the Chinese themselves, they will say that they did what they do in the entire developed world: they decentralized the economic sphere of life to such an extent until it led to success. The Chinese were carrying out structural reforms. But they did it carefully and wrote about it only after each measure carried out proved its success. Why are China's reforms successful? This is a matter of decentralization. Today, the economy in China is much more decentralized than, for example, in the entire post-Soviet space or in South America.

The fall of red socialism in 1991 led to the flip in those countries from social responsibility to economic responsibility as the paradigm shift from red socialism to economy friendly red socialism that Karl Marx probably had in mind in the long term did not materialize.
This flip of responsibilities in 1991 led to the coming of the new members of the capitalism family, cementing for once, the two current families of pure capitalism, democratic capitalism and non-democratic capitalism.
The flip from pure capitalism to red socialism since 1848 was a flip from economic responsibility to social responsibility, which shifted the loyalty structures found in pure capitalism.
The flip back from red socialism to pure capitalism in 1991 was a flip from social responsibility to economic responsibility, which maintained the loyalty structures as they were.
Had red socialism shifted to economy friendly red socialism, then the loyalties in those countries would have shifted to the same structure of loyalty in pure capitalism countries, and authoritarian parties and leaders would have fallen as a consequence of the paradigm shift.
Hence, the loyalty structures of a system may change or may remain the same as a result of paradigm flips up and paradigm flips back or due to paradigm shifts.
Therefore, there is a link between the direction of paradigm dynamics and loyalty structures in the systems affected by sustainability or responsibility pressures, so the question:
“Democratic capitalism and non-democratic capitalism: Do they have the same political and legal loyalty structure?”
What do you think? Can you see the political and legal loyalty structure in those two systems?
Feel free to share your views.
This is an academic question, not a political one.
Relevant answer
Answer
Dear Lucio, you are welcome
Outwardly, these two systems may be similar, but they have a different structure of existence. Capitalism must breathe freely. And this is possible only in a democratic society. But democratic capitalism is also not perfect. In any case, internally these two systems are very different, and for example Bolivian capitalism does not look like Chinese capitalism.

Hello,
I writing a thesis on the relationship between income inequality and economic growth, in USA. My question is how many observations do I need for a regression analysis. I was planning on finding data per state, for 20-30 years but it was impossible. Thus, now I switched to annual USA data (as quarterly was also difficult to find) and I extended my time span to have the maximum observations possible. I ended up with 60 observations per variable. Is it okay?
Relevant answer
Numerous researchers say that there should be at least 10 observations per variable. If we are using five independent variables, then a clear rule would be to have a minimum sample size of 50.

Above is the question for my essay. I am using two books for this- Paradise by Toni Morrison and Paul Beatty's The Sell out.
What I would like help on would be on how to structure my essay.
Relevant answer
Answer
I'm not going to pretend that I read or will read the novels you mentioned, but I can give some advice on how to structure your essay's arguments.
Using the arguments in those two novels( or any other novel that you may choose if you find more appropriate ones), you have to focus on what is the allegory/symbolism/metaphor etc in real world world or US history that the author would've chosen to base the fictional strategy between races. For example, you could take racial segregation in the US South to be represented by a fictional racial group(orange and blue for example, rather than black and white) or people with a name ending in a certain letter can't be in the same restaurant. This is because most novelists base ideas that can be related to a certain extent from real life situations in a fictional setting
Look for what the author means and try to compare it to real life, try to examine the historical, economic, political, cultural dimensions. Themes that may come up include segregation, civil rights, lynching, slavery, separate but equal, subcultures, socioeconomic divides within racial groups, racism, violence etc
