Supervision plays a crucial role in shaping the experiences of early-career researchers. While supportive mentorship can foster growth and well-being, poor supervisory practices can lead to stress, burnout, and even drive researchers away from academia.
- What are the key traits of a great supervisor?
- How has supervision (positive or negative) influenced your academic journey?
This is exactly what a group of researchers is investigating through a survey that has already gathered responses from over 1,200 researchers across more than 60 countries.

Let’s discuss! Your insights can help improve the academic environment.
Any available supervisors from universities with projects to do master by thesis in soil science preferably research into soil amendment using biochar with its nutrient fixation and carbon sequestration potential?
Dear Research Gate community,
I am reaching out in a moment of great importance in my academic journey. Unfortunately, my former supervisor retired, leaving me without guidance to complete and publish an article based on my thesis. Despite my efforts, I have not yet found the right mentor in my research area to help me navigate this process.
The article is a culmination of years of research and holds significant potential in its field. I am deeply committed to ensuring it reaches publication, and I believe the right collaboration can make this possible.
If you are an expert in Emotional states in learning process or know someone who might be willing to supervise and guide me in this endeavor, I would be immensely grateful for your support or recommendations. Your assistance at this critical juncture could make a profound difference in my academic life.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Sara Shadabi
How do you manage a heavy workload as a university professor? This includes attending committee meetings, teaching, supervising master's students, preparing lectures, grading exams, and writing academic papers.
I have seen people upload theses (undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral) to ResearchGate that they supervised but are not "authors" of in the strict sense. Is that appropriate?
I found so many of my previous articles and didn't realize these were missing. I finished them several years after retiring. My boss was still working and supervising publications but he was 82 that year.
I am a novice in my subject case study of administrators point of view in differentiated supervision and I am having difficulty in my methodology, data collection to data analysis

Dear all.
I need a couple of examples that were mentioned in a paper, a working paper or a technical repot (not a news media article) of falsification of school reports on teachers working conditions. Something like “16.6 % of the respondents said that the supervising teachers asked them to falsify and report fewer overtime hours”. The key point: teachers should be asked to falsify or a falsification was be made by school leader/supervisor.
I would like to become self disciplined and work by myself without supervision.
How do I achieve it when I am not interested at all in working without any push by others?
Dear Professors!
I am Dr. Tahir Khan from Pakistan. Recently, I completed my Ph.D. degree in Botany (Mycology) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hong Yu from the Yunnan Herbal Laboratory, School of Life Science, Yunnan University, Kunming 650504, Yunnan, China.
My Ph.D. dissertation is titled "Comprehensive analysis of metabolites in the mycelium of Cordyceps fumosorosea cultured on Periplaneta americana". / Mechanism of alleviating acute lung injury in mice from serum metabolomic analysis of Cordyceps fumosorosea
I am interested in working in your research group as a post-doctoral fellowship to develop a novel on any topic with your kind supervision and guidance.
Dear Prof if you have a post-doctoral position, allow me to work in your research group.
Recently, I am in Yunnan, Kunming, China.
I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Developing a new psychological therapy involves a systematic process that integrates theory, empirical research, clinical expertise, and client feedback. Here's a general outline of the steps involved:
- Identify a Target Population and Problem: Define the target population for the therapy (e.g., individuals with depression, trauma survivors) and specify the problem or symptoms the therapy aims to address.
- Review Existing Literature: Conduct a thorough review of existing literature on the target population and problem. This includes research on etiology, risk factors, maintenance factors, treatment approaches, and outcomes.
- Conceptualize the Therapy: Develop a theoretical framework that guides the conceptualization of the therapy. This involves integrating relevant theories and empirical findings to inform the formulation of treatment principles and strategies.
- Generate Intervention Techniques: Based on the theoretical framework, generate a pool of intervention techniques and strategies that are hypothesized to target the identified mechanisms underlying the problem. These techniques can be drawn from existing therapies or adapted to fit the conceptual model.
- Create a Treatment Manual: Develop a detailed treatment manual that outlines the structure, procedures, and content of the therapy. The manual should provide guidelines for therapists on how to deliver the intervention consistently and effectively.
- Pilot Testing: Conduct pilot testing of the therapy with a small sample of clients to assess its feasibility, acceptability, and initial efficacy. Solicit feedback from clients and therapists to identify areas for improvement and refinement.
- Refine the Therapy: Based on the feedback from pilot testing, revise and refine the therapy manual, intervention techniques, and procedures as needed. This may involve modifying existing techniques, adding new components, or clarifying instructions.
- Conduct Preliminary Studies: Conduct preliminary studies to evaluate the efficacy of the therapy in controlled settings. This may include single-case experimental designs, feasibility studies, or small-scale randomized controlled trials.
- Assess Treatment Integrity: Monitor treatment integrity to ensure that therapists adhere to the treatment manual and deliver the intervention as intended. This may involve training and supervision procedures to maintain fidelity to the therapy protocol.
- Evaluate Efficacy and Effectiveness: Conduct larger-scale randomized controlled trials to evaluate the efficacy and effectiveness of the therapy compared to control conditions or existing treatments. Use standardized outcome measures to assess changes in relevant variables.
- Analyze Data and Interpret Findings: Analyze the data using appropriate statistical methods and interpret the findings in relation to the therapy's theoretical framework and clinical implications. Consider both statistical significance and clinical significance of treatment effects.
- Refine and Disseminate: Based on the results of efficacy and effectiveness studies, refine the therapy further and disseminate the findings through publication in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at conferences, and training workshops for clinicians.
- Monitor Long-Term Outcomes: Follow up with clients to assess long-term outcomes and maintenance of treatment gains. This helps determine the sustainability of treatment effects over time.
By following these steps, researchers and clinicians can develop new psychological therapies that are theoretically grounded, empirically supported, and clinically relevant for addressing the needs of diverse populations.

How can effective supervision and management practices positively impact student outcomes and contribute to the overall success of an educational institution?"
Significantly, the process of conducting research and writing a thesis is a fundamental part of academic development, and it is typically guided by experienced academic supervisors. In many educational institutions, especially in Africa, students often embark on the journey of academic research with the expectation of receiving critical guidance from their supervisors. However, a growing concern has emerged in recent years regarding the quality and nature of academic supervision, especially in the context of thesis and manuscript preparation (For instance, a colleague recently shared his experience with me).
Substantially, in the space of academic, supervisors play a pivotal role in the success of their students' research endeavors (see e.g.,Jibao et al., 2017; Bayona-Oré, 2021 with DOI no: 10.36681/tused.2021.90) . They are expected to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and critical feedback to ensure that the research aligns with academic standards and objectives (see Bacwayo et al., 2o17 with DOI: 10.18488/journal.61/2017.5.3/61.3.29.39). The supervisor-student relationship is built on trust, with the understanding that the supervisor will offer support and guidance throughout the research process (Again, see Bayona-Oré, 2021 with DOI no: 10.36681/tused.2021.90).
Despite the ideal expectations, many students, especially in Africa, face challenges in their interactions with academic supervisors. One common issue is the lack of sufficient guidance, leaving students to navigate the complexities of research largely on their own. This can result in delays, frustration, and a decreased quality of research output. Additionally, the mismatch between expectations and actual supervision can lead to students feeling unsupported and undervalued.
Incontrovertibly, in Africa, it is not uncommon for supervisors to request or demand that they be listed as the corresponding author when students prepare manuscripts based on their theses. While this practice may raise ethical concerns, it is important to analyze the motivations and implications of this phenomenon. Furthermore, when reviewers' comments are received, the burden of responding to these comments often falls on the student, creating a paradox in which authorship and responsibility are misaligned.
At the back of this, the issue of academic supervision and authorship raises ethical questions that merit further exploration. What are the ethical responsibilities of supervisors in guiding their students? Should students who conduct the majority of the research and manuscript preparation retain corresponding authorship? How can institutions and academic communities address these ethical dilemmas to ensure fairness and transparency?
This discussion calls for a critical examination of the dynamics of academic supervision and authorship, focusing on how to enhance the support provided to students. It invites scholars, students, and academic institutions to reflect on the prevailing practices, ethical implications, and potential reforms that could ensure a more equitable and nurturing research environment.
I, eagerly await your invaluable contribution (s) regarding this important academic discussion. Thank you all....

I would like research about Computing,IOTbut seems all professors busy in university , no times to supervise,is there a chance some one adopt me and help ?
Actually, I am working these field. Sometimes I don't understand what should I do. If anyone supervise me, I will be thankful.
I have a dataset of rice leaf for training and testing in machine learning. Here is the link: https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/znsxdctwtt/1
I want to develop my project with these techniques;
- RGB Image Acquisition & Preprocessing (HSV Conversation, Thresholding and Masking)
- Image Segmentation(GLCM matrices, Wavelets(DWT))
- Classifications (SVM, CNN ,KNN, Random Forest)
- Results with Matlab Codings.
- But I have a confusion for final scores for confusion matrices. So I need any technique to check which extraction method is good for dataset.
- My main target is detection normal and abnormal(disease) leaf with labels.

Nowadays semi-supervised and unsupervised are popular domains in research areas but still a lot of challenges are there. So how we can overcome these challenges in case of unsupervised learning in medical imaging?
While AI-based research is still pursued in the general stream of the program, students in this specialization take six graduate courses, of which at least five are within the area of AI, in their first two terms. In addition, students conduct a research project that applies AI to a practical problem under the supervision of faculty members and in collaboration with partners in the private or public sector. With this knowledge, our graduates will be positioned to successfully deploy AI methodologies across many sectors.
Through supervising #visiting #PhD #students, I have established a track record for #publishing their work in high #impact #scientific #journals, all within 3 months of #collaboration!… Would you like to be the next one?… Get in touch! 😉

I mean if AI gains enough intelligence where from it doesn't need human supervision, then could that be end to mankind!!!
Hi, there are several Feature selection methods intended to reduce the number of input variables to those that are believed to be most useful to a model in order to predict the target variable. I would like to know about the best technique for feature selection in terms of supervised disease prediction. Thank you for your recommendations.
Do financial, banking and capital markets supervisory institutions, including stock exchanges, investment funds, brokerage houses and offices, insurance companies, etc. effectively reduce the scale of unethical business practices in the capital markets?
In recent years, on the one hand, unethical business practices and practices incompatible with corporate social responsibility have continued to occur in the intermediation of financial, investment transactions concluded on the capital markets. On the other hand, there are also still situations confirming the thesis that the institutions of financial, banking and capital markets supervision, including stock exchanges, investment funds, brokerage houses and offices, insurance companies, etc., to a limited and incomplete extent reduce the scale of unethical business practices on the capital markets. Could this be a symptom of the impending next global financial crisis? The progressive deregulation and liberalisation of the rules of financial markets since the 1970s, including capital markets, stock exchanges, has generated an increase in risks in these markets and enabled unethical business practices in commercial banks, investment banks, brokerage houses and so on. In addition to this, the increasing scale of the use of insider trading in the context of financial transactions, speculative investments made using securities listed on stock exchanges and other assets, the objects of transactions in the capital markets has increased the scale of the volatility of these markets. The use of unethical business practices in investment banks, brokerage firms, credit advisors in commercial banks providing mortgages ... reduced vigilance in detecting such practices in financial supervisory institutions became some of the key factors in generating the global financial crisis of 2007-2008. Applied short positions to monetise declines in equity valuations, stock indices and other capital market assets. The above-mentioned practices, as well as unreliable credit advice, the granting of mortgages to uncreditworthy individuals and entities, the sale by brokers employed by investment banks of securities highly rated by the banks' cooperating rating agencies, which later turned out to be worthless securities, are important factors that generated the global financial crisis of 2007-2008. Of course, the key underlying factors that generated the global financial crisis of 2007-2008 are not only issues related to financial sector entities serving retail customers, not only to commercially operating financial institutions, investment banks, etc., but also to the financial system. The key factors that generated the global financial crisis 2007-2008 also include systemic factors, i.e. the above-mentioned deregulation and liberalisation of financial markets, the abolition of prudential instruments that were introduced after the Great Depression of the 1930s in order to make the financial system safer and to increase the scale of stability in the functioning of the economy. In addition, just before the global financial crisis of 2007-2008, the central bank pursued an excessively lax monetary policy and an additional governmental institutional guarantee system was created against financial transactions carried out in commercial and investment banks, which were undertaken with the acceptance of ever higher levels of credit risk, ever higher levels of leverage, ever lower levels of collateral for the transactions carried out, etc. In recent years, new financial markets have been developing, such as cryptocurrency markets. In addition to this, there have been situations in which the economic situation on specific capital markets, stock exchanges and cryptocurrency platforms has been influenced by posts and comments made by persons recognised by the media, who are also active on social media platforms, including Twitter tweets, which may have influenced the mood and investment decisions of many social media users and, at the same time, individual investors active on capital markets. On the other hand, there have been many instances of insider trading in capital market transactions. In order for financial markets, including capital markets to operate efficiently and effectively, financial, banking and capital markets supervisory institutions, including stock exchanges, investment funds, brokerage houses and offices, insurance companies, etc., should effectively detect such economic crimes, dishonest actions of some capital markets participants, non-compliance with the applicable legal norms, application of unethical business practices detect and reduce their scale. Financial supervisory institutions should reduce the scale of unethical business practices on capital markets. When financial supervisory institutions function efficiently, financial markets function effectively and financial crises occur less frequently.
In view of the above, I would like to address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:
Do the institutions of financial, banking and capital markets supervision, including stock exchanges, investment funds, brokerage houses and offices, insurance companies, etc. effectively reduce the scale of unethical business practices in the capital markets?
What do you think about this topic?
What is your opinion on this subject?
Please answer with reasons,
I invite you all to discuss,
Thank you very much,

ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is a chatbot launched by OpenAI in November 2022. It is built on top of OpenAI's GPT-3 family of large language models and is fine-tuned (an approach to transfer learning) with both supervised and reinforcement learning techniques.
ChatGPT was launched as a prototype on November 30, 2022, and quickly garnered attention for its detailed responses and articulate answers across many domains of knowledge. Is it really creating a big challenge for the educator in the upcoming days?
Hello, I supervise research on bedridden garments. I need someone who is specialized in this regard, maybe a doctor, to tell me, can we use the word 'patient' for a bedridden? Or, rather it depends on the reason why s/he has become bedridden? Any thoughts?
Hi all,
I am in the process of supervising projects of bachelor business and management students. I want to discuss the options for remarkable models that students can employ in their research. So far I have suggested (TAM, UTAUT, SERVQUAL).
any more options ?
When I first began working as a lecturer, I was doing my M. Phil. in the lab of one of my senior Professors and colleagues. Over this time, I have also diligently worked with His MS research students and closely supervised them. The first MS thesis student of my supervisor, who was my second coworker, coordinated the lab and managed the electronic files of the MS research students. My coworker who had been handling the softcopies after my supervisor's recent death published the work without keeping me as a coauthor. How can I now become a coauthor on these published articles?
I am looking for a researcher available to supervise a research project on IKS from 2023. Kindly contact me so that I can share more information on this.
In these regular weekly meetings of our research team, the scientific discussion is very often interesting because of the collective supervision of my PhD students and our group work.
Are you using the same supervision approach in your research team?
Supervision of undergraduate students continues to be an big problem with most university administration, in particular with supervisors themselves , the student fraternity and the student bodies. Supervisor- students relations tend to stress out due to commonly seen problems such as supervisor appears too busy to be effective in his job, or lacks commitment, is partial to certain students, or not up-to-date with the field, or even poor feedback etc. Therefore my question is directed to what style between "traditional academic or traditional scientific" or "hybrid" of supervision is most ideal ?
The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) criteria does provide clarity on who qualifies to be an author but I have not been able to find any guidelines about the last author.
1. What is the main senior supervisor's correct position (order of authorship)?
2. Is the second position more valuable than the last one?
3. Do the first and last authors have the same value?
4. In case an author does qualify the ICJME criteria but contributes the least, would it be ideal to place the author last or as the penultimate author to the main senior author?
5. What value does being a corresponding author hold? Since its often used as an important criterion for promotions.
Many thanks
I have simulated an industrial process by ASPEN and I want to optimize the operational parameters (decision) to maxmize the final yield (objective) while minmizing the energy comsumption (second objective)
Therefore, I would like to build a ML model to use it to optimize/decide the best operational parameters.
My plan is to use metaheuristic models such GA (Genetic Algorithm) but I have a difficulty to know what are the steps to build the model? How this optimization algorithm can be be implimented as a supervised ML Model?
Different cultures have different standards on issues such as plagiarism and authorship.
I received no response to email from a potential PhD supervisor (USA).
I have mailed several professors in US universities requesting for supervision for potential PhD applicants.
I have not received responses from most of them.
Should I apply to the ones I've received responses from only?
There are several professors who have not responded yet, but I am quite interested in doing research under their supervision.
Should I apply to their PhD program still or find another supervisor?
Thank you for your time.
Need for an expert in publishing, supervising project to be done well.

Hello there,
I am preparing focus groups with health professionals.
The content in general is not going to touch on any sensitive topics.
However, please state your opinion on how to react if someone reports that he/she was a target of bullying, harassments, or was verbally abused by line manager/supervisor/co-worker etc...
What can I should I do if something like that is reported?
Should I suggest contacting occupational psychologist? Talking to someone else from the supervision/management?
In general what guidance could I use to help those people who reveal content suggesting they have suffered at work and what is my role as a moderator for that?
Please share your experience and perhaps some examples from literature.
Many thanks in advance

In classification problem we usually have label data, we train our model with that and predict the class for the test data. However, there is another lane of research on labeling unlabeled data, be it supervised or unsupervised manner. It is an essential task in todays world as unlabeled data is huge compare to the labeled ones. My question here is can we say a classification model with high accuracy can act like a model for labeling unlabeled data? I am talking about domain specific datasets only. Let say medical or consumer review etc. And along with it how do meta-learning works?
can we combine supervised and unsupervised filters in weka in data preprocessing? Is it a good choice to use SMOTE from supervised and Resample from unsupervised filters in WEKA for achieving a high accuracy?
Scientific capacity or scientific exploitation?
When a researcher (placed in "favorable conditions") supervises many young (gifted) researchers in the framework of a PhD or otherwise and thus obtains many publications as co-author, can we consider that this is a particular capacity to train young researchers or a scientific exploitation of young researchers (especially if all the work is done by these young people)?
Which is the best method in case of supervised & unsupervised learning and also for deep learning? Which is the most used method for modeling? Please suggest with example.
Consider the following problem. You have a large dataset, some small subset of which have labels from the classes A, B and C. I would like to classify the unlabelled subset of items each of which can be from classes A, B and C or any other seen class also from other classes I have not seen any labels for yet.
The ideal result would be a full labeling of the unlabelled subset with classes, A, B, C, D, E,
When the unlabal data is given identify the seen classes with the lables and if it's a new unseen class identify that and cluster together the unseen similar images.
Is this an example of semi-supervised classification and what are good approaches one can take to this kind of problem?
Or any implementations that i can use
Hello dear colleagues,
It is a privilege to write to you to seek for assistance. I wish to be advised on a theory. My research topic is "Instructional supervision in developing teachers' competence''. I am considering how supervisory strategies such as classroom observation, collaborative learning, monitoring, coaching and in-service training contribute to develop teachers' competence( Knowledge and skills).
I am asked to find a theory on competence, mentorship, supervision, etc. i have proposed several which i was told don't fit.
Your recommendations will be of a great help to me.
Thank you for your kind attention.
I am searching for text citations on the ideas on supervision and evaluation presented by authors. Through these citations, I am going to enrich my side of claim of agreement/disagreement reflected in my answers in a prior survey on the Attitudes and Beliefs about Supervision and Evaluation requested/assigned by my professor/instructor.
Hello fellow researchers,
i’m writing my PhD thesis and i need a little help with the statistic part. Without getting into great detail my study is as follows: during a 6 month period an expert was giving his advice on therapy options on our ward (all patients, lets say group A). The next 6 months the expert is gone, but the ward staff continued to make the therapy options accordingly to what they learnt from the expert (all patients, group B). I want to show that the the primary endpoint was unchanged, basically there was no difference between outcomes, thus proving the sustainability of a temporary expert supervision. I would like then to compare these 2 groups as a whole with a historical group were the old therapy was in place (before the expert was even there). How can i make that?
Thank you in advanced!
No formal guidance/training is available on how to supervise effectively? Fresh PhDs try to benchmark what they did or use hit and trial methods or take advice from their peers, or invent their own tricks/techniques to efficiently perform this task. Ultimately they do learn by mistakes or by practice. However, in this process number of years are wasted. What do you suggest in this regard? For example, experienced faculty may share some tips and tools with the newcomers and create learning circles
As we know, the machine learning and data mining techniques under a "BIG data framework" have been booming in the fields of intelligent controlled robot, unmanned vehicles, 5G communications and AI chips, with papid advances in computer computing capabilities in the past few decades.
Currently, as far as I can see, the Quantum computing and cloud computing techniques are also possible solutions to promote the industrial processes further.
If our humans are able to make huge breakthroughs of these 2 technical ways to obtain theoretically infinite computing speed and resources, does it mean that all the industrial processes are able to moniter and operate under a supervised level in real-time (more intelligent, more safe, reliable and available).
The problems, "improvements of algorithms against the computing burdens" and "conveniences of online deployment" probably will not the more important issues for our control strategies, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant issues any more.
What about your ideas for this?
I sincerely hope who are interested in this topic can give your valuable comments!
Can Supervised CNN algorithm be hybridized with Unsupervised Deep Belief network for a better result in classification problem?

Hi dears
If I want to do supervised multi-classes classification of specific domain such as history, using one of the deep learning techniques. Which is the best word embeddings method should I use?
1- Word2vec based on Continuous Bag-of-Words,
2- Word2 vector based on Continuous Skip-Gram Model,
3- Glove.
4- BERT Model
Many thanks in advance.
I am a graduate of statistics, and my research is based statistical process control, non parametric statistics, distribution theory and Meta-Analysis. I will be glad if I can find a suitable supervisor to supervise my PhD in any of these areas. Also, I will be glad if the supervisor has a FUNDED project or if the school offers SCHOLARSHIPS.
I am a Doctoral student at the University of Phoenix. I am conducting my quantitative dissertation on the correlation between millennial supervisors and the work engagement levels of the employees they supervise. I am searching for a data set that would be appropriate for my study. I need a data set that measures work engagement levels in employees that can also be linked to the age of that employees supervisor. Would you have any suggestions on resources where I may be able to find a data set that contains this information?
Many young scholars struggle hard to find a good research supervisor. It is extremely important for each scholar to have an excellent supervisor. it is often noticed that many outstanding scholars at the entry level become less productive at a later stage due to lack of proper supervision/guidance by the concerned supervisor. So then the important question is who is a good supervisor? What are the essential qualities of a supervisor?
Hallo,
I have to model a quentitative vegetation featur using vegetation indices based on Landsat OLI reflectances. Model is based on supervised procedur as multiple regression method. I clipped all OLI bands around my study area.
Questions:
In my case, is it suitble to strech spectral data ?
How to draw LULC map of Faridabad for 2000, the google earth image is not at good resolution and landsat 7 imagery is not as sharp?im using classified supervision.
Has the scale and instances of dissonance increased since the 1970s, and the disparity between the macroeconomic situation and the economic situation of a particular national or global economy, including economic growth, etc., and the situation on capital markets, including securities markets?
The above discussion inspired me to the following considerations: Well, since the development of the deregulation process, the increase in the globalization of financial markets, the introduction to the financial markets of many derivatives without full supervision by financial supervision institutions, i.e. since the 1970s the frequency has increased and the scale of emerging financial and economic crises in various parts of the world. At the same time, perhaps the business cycles are increasingly influenced by the monetary policy of central banks and fiscal policies of governments mainly of the world's largest economies. The result may be a growing discrepancy, a growing disproportion between the macroeconomic situation and the situation of a particular national economy or global economy, including economic growth, etc., and the situation on capital markets, including securities markets.
What do you think about this topic?
What is your opinion on this topic?
Do you agree with me on the above matter?
In the context of the above issues, I am asking you the following question:
Has the scale and instances of dissonance increased since the 1970s, and the disparity between the macroeconomic situation and the economic situation of a particular national or global economy, including economic growth, etc., and the situation on capital markets, including securities markets?
Please reply
I invite you to discussion
Thank you very much
Best wishes

Professors are among the busiest people on planet earth. As a results, most of the PhD students they supervise probably will have an experience of not getting enough attention from the professors. What ways do PhD students use to get their professors give enough time during supervision?
Supervisor is one of major role when we are doing a research for our post gradates. So plz tell ur experience as a supervisor and been supervised.

I am analysing the data of a cross-sectional study I am working on. It explores differences in self-compassion, burnout and skills between clinicians joining a peer supervision group and clinicians not joining this group but receiving other forms of supervision.
In the correlation table, the variable 'participants to peer consultation' has no significant correlation with anything. Other variables correlates and don't show this anomality. It is only this one that is a bit funky. Any ideas why? I put an example here below.
Pearson .052
Sig. (2-tailed) .602
N 103
Thanks!
How do you wish to be remembered for your graduate supervision?
Hello, I am a 2nd year PhD Candidate in international management, and i am currently in active search for a professor interested in supervising me as part of a grant. My research is about the impact of African banks internationalization on their financial performance. I looked in many american universities websites but couldn't reach any professor with research interests related to my subject.
I look for a colleague, interested in education or social science, to produce a succinct yet clear evidence-informed introduction to link staff workloads with education outcomes - exact focus of the text tb discussed - see below.
I am working on a small paper that describes a developed algorithm to balance staff workloads when it comes to supervise and assess student final projects, I have done all the technical work including the development of case studies to show how the model works, but the initial part i.e. the introduction remains missing (I am struggling to find time to cover that important component).
