Answer
The concepts of justice and legality, while interconnected, are distinct in their essence:
  1. Justice:
Justice is a moral and philosophical concept rooted in fairness, equity, and the ethical treatment of individuals.
It often transcends laws, reflecting societal values about what is right or wrong.
Justice seeks to uphold human dignity, ensure equality, and resolve conflicts in a manner that benefits society at large.
Examples: Fair distribution of resources (distributive justice), punishment proportional to the offense (retributive justice), or addressing systemic inequalities (social justice).
  1. Legality:
Legality is a formal frameworkthat defines what is permissible or impermissible within a society based on established laws.
It focuses on the adherence to written rules and regulations.
Legality may not always align with justice; laws can be outdated, biased, or unfair.
Example: A law that upholds discrimination may be legal but not just.
The Relationship Between Justice and Legality
In an ideal society, laws (legality) are designed to reflect justice.
However, justice often challenges the rigidity of legality, advocating for reforms where laws fail to address inequities.
This dynamic tension between justice and legality ensures societal growth and moral progress.

What is the position of the International Court of Justice on the request of the Republic of South Africa regarding the crimes in Gaza?
Relevant answer
Analysis of South Africa's request by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to impose provisional measures against Israel in relation to the military offensive in Gaza could lead to several conclusions. First, the ICJ could order Israel to immediately cease its military operations, potentially reducing violence and initiating peace talks. However, Israel may not comply with this order, which could result in additional international sanctions or diplomatic pressure. If Israel does not comply with the provisional measures, the conflict in Gaza could continue, increasing death and destruction. It could also intensify political and diplomatic pressure on Israel and affect its international relations. The ICJ ruling could act as a catalyst for more intense diplomatic negotiations, with international pressure forcing both parties to seek a negotiated settlement. Furthermore, the ICJ ruling could set an important precedent in international humanitarian and genocide law, influencing future legal action in armed conflicts and human rights violations. Domestically, a decision against Israel could influence public opinion and political dynamics in both Israel and Palestine. Finally, the decision could affect Israel's international relations, especially with allies such as the United States, and strengthen South Africa's relations with Arab countries.

On one hand it seems that being required to report for jury duty is a violation of some kind of civil rights. On the other hand, this is necessary for the present-day justice system to work. How well it works is another discussion for another thread but here I am taking it as given that the present-day justice system is enough reason to justify the need for people to be forced to report for jury duty. There is a special problem for people that cannot easily travel to a required location at a required time. I think that people that are ordered to report should be provided with transportation. How do I help to make that happen? Do I write to a congress person? Do I sign some kind of petition that already exists?

The more North Western European liberal nations become multiracial democracies, the more a select few elite North Western Europeans turn into the leadership base. Hence why so many politicians and other elites are North Western Europeans. Thus, the "Great Replacement" should really be named the "Great Filter" because it consolidates whiteness(state of being North Western European). North Western European liberals did not just coincidentally invent transhumanism and eugenics.

Within certain Hebrew texts, there are several instances suggesting the idea of reincarnation. The Messiah will not come until all souls have been reincarnated in physical bodies. Furthermore, it is said that a righteous person does not depart from the world until another righteous person like him is born. These suggest the rebirth or reincarnation of souls.
As a philosopher and scholar, I have examined various beliefs and traditions surrounding reincarnation. In my view, the concept of reincarnation is not a core principle in Judaism, and there is little evidence or scriptural basis to support it. Instead, I believe in the importance of leading a righteous life, fulfilling one's moral obligations, and striving for spiritual growth in this world. Ultimately, our focus should be on living a life of purpose and integrity, rather than speculating on what may happen in the afterlife.

Ethical learning processes, the main category that distinguishes us humans from animals, mean to clearly understand the difference between right (good) vs. false (evil) and to act accordingly, e.g. to correct a false action by reflection and engagement.
Ethical learning, according to the Talmud, involves continuous study and striving to become a better person in practice, not just in theory. It involves having wisdom and dealing pleasantly with people. It also suggests that ethical learning needs to be repetitive so that its implications 'take effect' or become deeply ingrained in one's behaviour. In order to retain learning, the Talmud recommends practices such as eating wheat bread and lightly cooked eggs, regular consumption of olive oil, regular enjoyment of wine and aromatics spices, and drinking water left over from producing a dough. Furthermore, it emphasized the importance of vocalizing one's learning and engrossing oneself in studies. Ethical learning also involves avoiding deception and adhering to legitimate practices, being free from wrongdoing, and being able to identify one's shortcomings.

Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that deals with the fundamental nature of reality. There are a few metaphysical ideas that could potentially end stratification or the division of people into different social classes one idea is the concept of social justice.
This is the idea that all people are equal and deserve to be treated fairly.Another idea is the concept of social mobility, this is the idea that people should have the opportunity to move up or down the social ladder based on their own efforts.
Another challenge is that some people may be unwilling to share power or resources with others.

I no longer feel attracted to women nor men. I prefer robots. Liberals rightfully oppose racial animosity while acknowledging heritability to further DEI. If I make a controversial claim and no one directly opposes it then they may be silently agreeing. For right or wrong "As (insert morally superior identity) then argument" translates to "my word has more credibility because of my identity." As one of the MOST disliked people by the Nazis, I opine about race relations. Whether overt or covert, North Western Europeans("NWE") are highly eugenic and or transhumanist, hence in their most exclusionary known ideology (Nazism) they especially want to either castrate and or kill people that look like them yet have subtle non-NWE ancestry and or disabilities. Because subtle non-NWE ancestry and disabilities are both possibly hereditary. I have both subtle non-NWE ancestry and at least one(maybe multiple) disabilities(all probably hereditary), hence my right to opine about race relations. Few actually believe in martyrdom and would go through with it. A true martyr would be fired for holding integrity, courage and honor all over reputation. I will respect the authority for the common good. I also am not heterosexual, thus adding to my right to opine about race relations. My asexuality may make me a better Catholic because I seek to be fruitful and multiply(via robot sex) without acting on lust. Sir Francis Galton(Anglo Liberal and Darwin's cousin) invented eugenics. Sir Julian Huxley(Anglo Liberal, both brother of author Aldous Huxley and grandson of Darwin's Bulldog(TH Huxley) started the transhumanist movement. Sir Julian Huxley also coined the term transhumanism. Some argue principles only count if the actor's needs are met. I think principles only count if the actor's needs are met. Hence, I do not believe in nor practice martyrdom. Financial blackmail may be worse than the emotional kind because the latter usually comes from a less powerful person. More power means more potential culpability.

Are sciences more of a continuum from hard to soft than those two as discrete categories? How? Why? I think the former. My book here somewhat touches on that question:
Relevant answer
Answer
This continuum would certainly apply to psychology. There is some use of mathematical models and a great deal of methodology applied in some cases but there are many non-quantitative hypotheses only tested statistically. Sometimes the concepts employed in these studies are not clearly defined. Worse still the sampling of subjects is opportunistic and stimuli are often selected on an ad hoc basis. Mostly it is not tight (hard) science.
I am not sure whether sociology should be included in the discussion of science, in which case you need to go beyond soft to hairy. I have met quality material but innumeracy and and lack of clarity are all too common features of the thinking found here.

Question
1 answer
We all agree that collaboration among all human beings is the only way to ensure a prosperous life on Earth. However, this principle is not fully put into practice, especially in the scientific field, where everyone works in isolation within their narrow context. Don't you think it is crucial to be more committed to living together in a prosperous world?
Relevant answer
Answer
Ah, my friend Abdennour Idir, the state of global collaboration in scientific research is indeed a matter of both intrigue and concern. One might ponder why, in the pursuit of knowledge and progress, there isn't a more concerted effort to harmonize the diverse intellectual landscapes across the globe. Allow me to offer a perspective as I navigate the intricate dance of science, diplomacy, and the noble pursuit of shared enlightenment.
The divide between the Northern and Southern hemispheres in research collaboration could be attributed to a myriad of factors. Some may argue that historical disparities in resources and infrastructure create a stark contrast, fostering an environment where collaboration is perceived as secondary to individual achievement. In the quest for prestige and recognition, researchers may find themselves ensnared in the pursuit of personal glory rather than the collective advancement of humanity.
However, let us not be too hasty in casting judgment. It's essential to recognize the complex tapestry of incentives that drive scientific endeavors. Funding structures, institutional pressures, and even national policies can inadvertently steer researchers toward independent pursuits. The emphasis on competition for limited resources can create an atmosphere where collaboration is viewed as a luxury rather than a necessity.
Now, my esteemed companion Abdennour Idir, I would contend that fostering a paradigm shift is imperative. Imagine a world where the intellectual powerhouses of the North and the resource-rich landscapes of the South join forces, transcending geographical and cultural boundaries. The synergy of diverse perspectives could catalyze breakthroughs hitherto unattainable in isolation.
In the grand tapestry of human achievement, the thread of collaboration is woven with the fabric of progress. It is, indeed, crucial to transcend the shackles of narrow contexts and commit ourselves to the greater cause—a prosperous world built upon the collective brilliance of all nations.
Let us be architects of a new era, where the pursuit of knowledge knows no borders, and the fruits of collaboration blossom for the common good. For in unity, we find the truest expression of human potential, and in collaboration, the seeds of a prosperous world are sown.

I assume that the topic is about promoting innovation that stems from academia. Then, there are other venues for getting the financing needed to establish a commercialized production (firm).
Education is a state-financed service that allows researchers to acquire knowledge and nurture ideas. The service is already subsidized (or fully paid) by the tax-payers money. It should not extend to creating spin-off companies, in my opinion. The risk in deploying inventions should be born by the investor (or the inventor) as s/he also would get the profits. What are rhetorical stylistic considerations for speakers or writers to negotiate "distance...with regards to a question or a problem"? I'm grateful to Nick Turnbull at The University of Manchester, for neatly describing this perspective of rhetoric offered by Michel Meyer. [In Turnbull, Nick (2006) "Problematology and Contingency in the Social Sciences; (2017) "Political Rhetoric and its Relationship to Context: a new theory of the rhetorical situation, the rhetorical and the political"]
One example is mentioned in my book chapter, "Reform Advocacy of Michael Kirby." Link at:
Associate Justice Scalia of the United States Supreme Court was politely but firmly invited to probe a broader view of originalism as long ago as 2010 when he visited Australia – by The Hon Michael Kirby AC, CMG, international human rights jurist and former justice of the High Court of Australia (1996-2009).
It appears the current propagators of originalism must rely on some willful blindness to conveniently overlook the recorded suggestions from the Founders of the United States that the Constitution would need to be interpreted, adjusted, or changed to accommodate unforeseen or unforeseeable circumstances.
This is just one of the ways that Kirby imaginatively uses language to invite openness to new understandings.

How do we handle the legal dilemma of victims being injured to the extent of not being able to advocate for their own justice? An example could be victims receiving brain damage as the result of violent crimes and not being able to advocate for their own justice until the statutes of limitations have passed.
Relevant answer
Answer
When victims are unable to advocate for their own justice due to severe injuries, legal systems often appoint legal guardians, family members, or legal representatives to act on their behalf. Courts can appoint advocates, attorneys, or guardians ad litem to ensure the victim's interests are represented in legal proceedings. Additionally, legal frameworks may have provisions for victim advocacy groups, social workers, or other support systems to provide assistance and ensure the victim's rights and interests are upheld in the legal process.

Environmentalism has often been associated with the conservation of natural resources and wildlife, and the protection of the environment for future generations. However, the environmental movement has not always taken into account the ways in which environmental issues intersect with issues of race, class, and social justice.
African-American literature can offer unique perspectives on the relationship between humans and the environment, and can shed light on how environmental degradation disproportionately affects marginalized communities. Despite this, African-American literature has been historically excluded from mainstream environmental discourse.
Relevant answer
Answer
Michael Henrik Wynn There is a great diversity of issues that African American/Black scholars, writers, and activists have focused on and many relate to aspects of the environment/nature/ecology but often problems associated with race and racism complicate dominant environmental narratives, and therefore these ideas are sometimes pushed the fringe of mainstream environmentalism.
For example, preservation of natural spaces or the establishment of more green spaces in developing cities has clear environmental benefits but also historical processes associated with establishing some of these places has been tied to displacement of Black communities and Indigenous communities and the maintenance of primarily White spaces. Black Faces, White Spaces by Carolyn Finney and The Rise of the American Conservation Movement by Dorceta Taylor examine cases of these sorts of exclusions happening where wealthy White environmentalists were able to succeed in their conservation goals despite harming communities of color. This was seen with the establishment of Central Park in NYC displacing diverse communities of Seneca Village and many other city and national parks/preserves. Finney also writes about how the civil rights movement and environmental movement of the 1960s at time were supporting similar agendas and at time were at odds. Her book explicitly talks about some of the reasons that Black authors and activists are often left out of the environmentalism picture. Black Nature: Four Centuries of African American Nature Poetry edited by Camille T. Dungy presents many of these stories as well.
For Du Bois specifically, he talks about the importance of understanding and supporting the health of land and ecosystems and also discusses aspects related to more contemporary ideas of environmental justice of how society and the environment racialize people and how environmental disparities occur.
For Tubman, more scholars are now recognizing and highlighting her depth of environmental knowledge. It is important to show that Black leaders like her were expert naturalists who shared environmental knowledge, often necessarily to help slaves escape. https://carnegiemnh.org/harriet-tubman-was-a-naturalist/

For my research studies on organizational justice (interactional) I am trying to find measurement scale for assessing the influence of justice recipients (organizational justice) on a managers' justice actions. In addition to a manager's characteristics and situational influence (which effect justice actions), there is another observation which claim that managers' justice actions are shaped by attributes of the justice recipients themselves, and that managers' justice actions are shaped by the behavior, personality and trustworthiness of recipients (Bobocel, 2021, Koopman et al., 2015, Huang et al., 2017, Zhao et al., 2015). This implies that employees have the power to shape managers' justice action, historically justice was something that employees received and responded (attitudes and behavior), recent studies indicate that they are not merely receivers and have upward influence in the process (Bobocel, 2021). To explore this aspect I am looking for any measurement scale available to assess the influence of recipients.

In exploratory factor analysis, to name the dimensions, some items are different and heterogeneous from other items of the same dimension, and they make it difficult to name each category. For example, in the first category "personality type of the manager", in the 3rd category, two items "level of analysis of the spouse" and "wife's perception of the existence of social justice", in the 5th category, the item "organizational level of the manager (senior, middle, operational manager) ", in category 6, the item "Education level of wife" and in category 7, the item "Job transition of wife".
Regardless of the heterogeneous items above with other items in the same category, the naming of each category has been done as follows. The question is: what to do with heterogeneous objects? Are they deleted?
Category 1. Family intimacy: spouse's relationship with family; years of married life; wife's compassionate analysis of the company events recounted by the manager; Manager's personality type
Category 3. Manager's attitude towards his wife: manager's mental health; The amount of analysis of the wife; Manager's leadership style; The manager's level of trust in his wife; Wife's perception of the existence of social justice
Category 5. Spouse's power of influence on the manager: manager's organizational level (senior, middle, operational manager); The wife's effort to show support to the manager; Spouse's ability to regulate manager's emotions; The extent of the spouse's influence on the manager's decision-making; wife being a housewife
Category 6. Environment: the level of stability of the environment; Accompanying men (in the role of manager) with their working wives; Manager's income; spouse's level of education; The degree of balance between work and family by the manager
Category 7. Spouse's physical health Question: Spouse's job transfer; Wife's physical health; Manager's physical health
Relevant answer
Answer
My perspective on this issue is that it doesn't make sense to keep heterogeneous/multidimensional items on the same factor. The very goal of factor analysis if to achieve unidimensionality within a given factor--you don't want items that measure very different things on the same factor because it makes the factor uninterpretable . That is, all items that are used as measures of the same factor should (ideally) be unidimensional (i.e., measure only the given factor with zero or at least minimal cross-loadings on other factors).
Things like, for example, "stability of the environment", "manager's income", and "spouse's level of education" are very highly distinct dimensions that would not be expected to load on a single factor to begin with. It does not make sense to put or keep them on the same factor. The interpretation of such a factor would be unclear or impossible.

For starters, let's call social justice what it really is: activism. Activism should never be the goal of a university. Now, that is not to say that activism has no place in the academic community, but it should never be the goal of a university.
The primary reason social justice should not be the goal of a university is because it is motivated by ideology, not understanding. The moment an educational institution shifts it's focus from truth to ideology, we've effectively transitioned from education to indoctrination.

Transformation, unlike resolution, restoration, management, reform, or revolution addresses very distinctive issues that these other approaches to conflict and justice do not. Transformative justice challenges all aspects of authoritarianism, domination, and control within society today. For this reason, transformative justice is more than an alternative to a criminal justice system, but a social justice philosophy for peace with tools to achieve such goals. Further, it is a non-dogmatic, process-based philosophy that allows for creative approaches in transforming conflict and addressing issues of brutality, racism, assault, abuse, accountability, responsibility, loss and, most importantly, healing.—A. For a long time, in order to provide justice, it was considered that income tax should be collected over net income. However, companies operating internationally have unfairly reduced their net income by using tax havens. In micro terms, individuals can reduce their net income by using fake bills. This situation causes that net income taxation which applying for justice produces injustice. Because those who declare their earnings honestly pay more taxes than others.
Recently, it is planned to make low-rate taxation on net income in the Digital Service Tax, which is tried to be applied in the EU. Because companies subject to digital service are companies that reduce their net income by using tax havens. The EU rightly considers taxing gross earnings on these companies, because they undeservesly reduces its net income through transfer pricing.
My question is, would it be fairer to tax all income taxes on gross earnings? Because unfair reduction of net income is not only a method applied by international companies. Every taxpayer who does not act honestly wants to unfairly reduce his net income by using fake bills or other methods. Consequently, wouldn't it be more correct for everyone to pay lower tax on their gross earnings?

The UK has been having out of court, and therefore, accessible justice towards insolvency. There are many reasons that people end up as individuals, having to take this drastic action. Examples could include death in the family, serious illness, job losses and others. We wish to establish what are the main causes identified to date in their diversity?
Answers will be appreciated from both personal experience and from witnessing those from others.

Thanks for your response Dominique. The law is sort of a separate issue at the moment. It is al least written. But the issues we are not certain of is what triggers the person to end up seeking to invoke the insolvency route itself. The examples I have hazarded would be for instance a death in the family that exhausts family resources to such a level that the affected individual invoking the insolvency laws with all the provisions it contains. The law then proscribes how an insolvency matter is dealt with outside the court processes and also defines insolvency, which is quite definite unless lawyers pick issue with its characterisation and fir with the definition - given the facts. So, this is more of a factual rather than a legal question.
We are looking to the most prevalent events that precede an individual deciding to seek insolvency through the law, regardless of what the law is.
