Many researchers and scientists strive to obtain for the development of their research work and scientific activity financial support in the framework of grants and financial subsidies from institutions that support the conduct of research work carried out within the framework of colleges, universities and scientific institutes. it is often the case that the possibility of implementing major research projects and conducting scientific activity in the framework of new, developmental topics is determined by the ability to obtain funding for the research work carried out. In the situation of limited financial budgets of universities, scientific public institutions, limited finances within the system of public finances of the state, researchers and scientists look for sources of funding for their research projects in commercially functioning economic entities, companies and enterprises interested in developing specific scientific research and research work. In addition, researchers and scientists seek funding for their research work and scientific activities in foundations set up by non-governmental organizations established to support the development of scientific research within specific fields, scientific disciplines or topics on key problems of the development of civilization. However, among the particularly important sources of funding for specific research projects are financial grants allocated through competitions announced for the implementation of scientific research and research projects on defined scientific topics. In particular countries, regions of the world, in certain types of scientific institutions and research environments, there may be certain main factors determining the possibility of obtaining a prestigious grant to finance an innovative research project, for certain reasons considered particularly important for humanity and necessary for the development of civilization.

I have a picture of a DEM in the form of TIFF and a picture of the geographic coordinate system is WGS-1984. I'd like to operate this TIFF picture on SWAT. However, the warning images appear as soon as they are opened. Reminds you to change the projected coordinate system of the picture. Where should you operate it?

I do not know if this is a merely coincidence, but over the last number of years doing research, I have seen hundreds of Junior Researchers (either undergrad, master of PhD students) suffering from blood- and energy-suckers coordinators. Perhaps, this is a consequence of multiple factors (such as history of academic world and labor western culture). The fact is, as a Senior Researcher or Project Coordinator, what do you do to avoid or to alleviate mental illness amongst your students?

All the externally aided projects which are funded have to go through rigorous checks and appraisals on a continued basis depending on the work plan. In order to meet the timeline the scholars engaged under the projects has to follow the deadlines. How should the scholars be made to work?

I am doing text mining on the performance on research for development interventions in low income countries. I need some standard dictionaries and typologies to map the content of the paper in a standardized way. Can you the international standards you are aware of? Thanks in advance.

What is MODIS's default Geographic Coordinate System and projected coordinate system? My study area is Bangladesh. I found the image distorted (the upper portion is bent towards left and lower portion is bent to the right. Pics attached). How can I project them to Geographic Coordinate System: WGS 1984 and projected coordinate system: WGS 1984 UTM Zone 45N ?

I am currently working on many different research fronts at the same time. I would like to keep track of my advances and relate tasks when various projects --eventually-- overlap. I am currently working with a regular spreadsheet, an ordinary notepad, and Evernote. Nevertheless, I get the sense that this method has reached its full potential and soon will become more a mess than an aid.

So, I was wondering, have anyone worked with a project management tool for research purposes? Which were your experiences? Which options would you recommend?

I am meaning to use it for both personal and group projects. A key feature would be to allow me to keep annotations on preliminary findings, organize tasks, relate to external sources (files, URLs, texts, and such), and also get some kind of indication of project advancement. Evernote does most of the annotation features but lacks an organization function.

Is there any end of a project added in RG? Someone can add update, preprint, conference paper, article and others information or publications. But when does a project actually become complete? Or is there no end of a project as it might be a continuous process.

In my opinion, important issues in the issues of international project management are as follows:

- The impact of economic, information globalization etc on international management projects.

- Improving information technology management systems on a supranational basis,

- computerized standards and management systems used by transnational corporations in the field of international project management,

- Sociological, intercultural conditions for the management of international teams implementing projects in enterprises operating internationally or globally,

- Security of data transfer and processing performed for the needs of the enterprise management process in the context of international project management.

In what other areas of science, research on specific aspects of the economy, business, art, technology development, etc. should be created interesting research topics in the field of international project management?

In the course of any research project, we can get surprises- pleasant or unpleasant. How do you deal with them. Do you think that there is any way we can prevent their appearance? How do you manage to identify or detect research results or byproducts that you weren´t looking for? How do you communicate them to your important people-project members,department heads, stakeholders? Do you do it early-as soon as surprise comes up- or do you "wait and see" what happens?

Some studies have claimed digitalisation can be the key towards ending issues of disputes on construction projects. What is your take on this, considering that dispute arises from diverse areas of construction project delivery and from different construction participants?

The spatial data available on India- WRIS is in Lambert Conformal Conic (LCC) Projection and WGS84 datum.

but in ArcGIS 10.1, following three are available under

 Projected Coordinate System > Continental > Asia>

1) Asia Lambert conformal conic

2) Asia North Lambert conformal conic

3) Asia South Lambert conformal conic

Which LCC was used by India wris?

I have downloaded one map from openstreetmap, the file is in .osm format. I converted that to .shp file to work in arcGIS. My aim is to perform the network analysis on that shapefile but, I am getting an error as projected coordinate system is not specified.

Several papers have been published related to culture or subculture. However how can the culture or subculture of a project team be characterised? Looking forward for any oppinion and/or publication in this topic.

Do you know a methodology or indicators which help compare urban development projects based on project characteristics, e.g. project budget, project aims, project partners, etc.? I do not aim to compare performance of the projects. I am more interested in the projects themselves. Although my interest is smart city projects, I think the comparison criteria that I want can fit to any project.

There are various technological, organizational, legal risks that could be encountered in complex construction projects, IPD however seems to have an approach which can share risks and turn them into benefits for the projects. If that is the case, what would be the risks in complex construction projects that act as drivers for an IPD approach ?

And how do you define his role with respect to the project manager? Is a project manager necessary?

There are various challenges that have not been entirely documented with the implementation of IPD for large construction projects. Any insight on what these risks might be would be of great help.

There is a dearth of studies on coordination in organisations and it seems like there haven't been any new concepts emerging out of this research stream.

If coordination is the act of managing interdepencies to achieve a goal, and if that goal is not reached. Is this an example of inefficient coordination? or simply inefficient collective work? what is the difference?
