On the other hand, teaching translation is different, as (Gabris, 2000) states that a translation teacher must have knowledge and experience in translation and the ability to teach it.

In my opinion, the development of artificial intelligence technologies and applications, including the use of AI machines, robots, AI chatbots, AI virtual robots and AI agents in various sectors of the economy, will probably have a major impact on future labour markets. As a result of the changes in the labour market caused by the development of AI applications, some human professions will become less important and some jobs will be lost, while new professions and jobs will be created for people who operate IT systems, machines, robots, chatbots, etc. equipped with artificial intelligence. equipped with artificial intelligence technology.
The coming era of artificial intelligence, referred to as the fifth technological revolution, Industry 5.0, will bring about profound changes in labour markets that require careful analysis and preparation. On the one hand, progressive automation driven by AI will inevitably lead to the elimination of many jobs, especially those based on routine and repetitive tasks, which may result in increased unemployment in certain sectors. On the other hand, the development of AI will open up new job opportunities, creating demand for specialists in fields such as AI engineering, data analysis and AI ethics. In addition, many existing jobs will be transformed and workers will need to acquire new skills to work effectively with intelligent systems. The key challenge will therefore be to adapt to these changes by investing in education and training that will enable workers to retrain and acquire the skills of the future. Research plays an invaluable role here, providing knowledge about trends in labour markets, identifying occupations at risk of automation and forecasting the demand for new skills, which will enable the development of effective adaptation strategies.
The research and observations I have conducted show that artificial intelligence technology has been developing rapidly in recent years and is finding new applications, with new opportunities and threats emerging. I have described the main determinants, including the potential opportunities and threats to the development of artificial intelligence technology, in my article below:

What are the sources of ethics in the teaching profession?
What professions, professional professions performed by people are not threatened by the development of artificial intelligence technology?
Until relatively recently, the prevailing opinions were that among the professions, professional professions performed by people, which are not threatened by the development of artificial intelligence technology mainly included highly creative professions in which people demonstrated creativity. Recently, the prevailing opinions on the subject are changing, as the professions performed by humans now include those highly creative mental jobs and the least threatened are those that are mainly relatively simple physical jobs performed in the field. Yet the pace of technological advances being made within AI technology has been very rapid recently. Consequently, the currently dominant opinions in the issue of the impact of AI technologies on labor markets may also quickly become outdated.

This sound signals the true beginning of his life--the beginning of suffering, rejection, peace and, finally, wisdom" (Hermann Hesse, 1951/1957/1964/1971).
A great novel to read!
I have been researching this for many years and studied psychotherapy in both London University and Middlesex. I have many papers on here and elsewhere, which examine the subject, I believe, thoroughly.
My conclusion:
A discipline of opinion with a concentration on 'identity'. The drugs, which became a speciality of mine, I consider extremely dangerous; dangers that are ignored by the profession.
Psychiatry gets immense credibility from its connection to medicine (of course), an extremely and excessively powerful institution, but also to the drug companies.
I would like to know how do I create my own job/profession and earn a full-time income from it?
I would like to know the professions where females are more than males in this world.
I want to convert my passion/interest into a full-time profession where I can earn money from it. How do I monetize my passion and turn it into a business?
I would like to know which are the professions where males are more than females in this world?
Like with all professions, interpersonal dynamics are crucial, though arguably it matters more for some fields and at some places more than others. For example, you really need reasonable interpersonal skills if you want to run a lab or research group properly - but you would need it even if you were more of traditional solo humanities scholar who always publishes alone, since you need to work with your colleagues to agree on teaching and governance as well as with non-academic staff for administration of the department, managing grants, organizing conferences, etc. Like with every profession, some people are better at this than others: so many young scholars leave academia because of awful senior people who are just bad managers, bullies, or only interested in growing their own power, but there have recently been high-profile cases (in the UK) where the bullies have faced consequences so there may be hope yet. The general rule of 'be a good person' should be followed.

The development of generative artificial intelligence applications is increasing the scale of objectification of work performed within various professions. On the one hand, generative artificial intelligence technologies are finding more and more applications in companies, enterprises and institutions increasing the efficiency of certain business processes supporting employees working in various positions. However, there are increasing considerations about the possibility of black scenarios coming true in futurological projections suggesting that in the future many jobs will be completely replaced by autonomic AI-equipped robots, androids or systems operating in cloud computing. On the other hand, in opposition to the black scenarios of future developments in labor markets are contrasted with more positive scenarios presenting futuristic projections of the development of labor markets, where new professions will be created thanks to the implementation of generative artificial intelligence technology into various aspects of economic activity. Which of these two scenarios will be realized to a greater extent in the future is currently not easy to predict precisely.
In view of the above, I address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:

Teaching profession is unfortunately not a preferred option in present and future generation for various social reasons across the globe.
Inspite of this, we have to prepare at least 10% higher education level students to take up this profession with following strategies:
1. Primarily a passion for it.
2. Annual salary should be comparable in the society around ( local government always give appropriate guidelines).
3. An appropriate initial training and self update is a must.
4. An annual teacher’s assessment report by students community.
5. From primary to highest level of education - all teachers are equally important for the growth of the system.

Even though community health nursing is recognized as a priority, community health facilities are experiencing some of the worst staffing shortages. However, to guarantee the profession remains fit for purpose and support future recruiting efforts, urgent action is required to keep the community health nurses now employed in their existing positions.

Every human being is born with some (or some) talent, i.e., he/she has some specific ability that he/she is naturally good at and enjoys developing, as this involves little effort. This initial talent, in the organizational environment, we would recognize it as the attitudes and knowledge (acquired in different ways) that the personnel possesses when hired. Hence the importance for organizations of knowing how to identify them, as this would allow them to develop it. If we say that human talent in organizations is that which the person possesses, after developing the same profession over a period of time, then it is made or born.
Teachers as Change Agents: What Does the Research Tell Us?
Education reform efforts often focus on top-down policies and initiatives mandated by administrators and policymakers. However, research increasingly shows that lasting change is driven from the ground up - by teachers leading and mobilizing improvements in their classrooms, schools, and districts.
But what do we know about teachers as change agents? A recent systematic review published in Emerald Open Research aimed to synthesize current knowledge on this important topic. The review uncovered five key insights:
- Teacher change agents are mainly viewed as implementers of top-down change rather than leading grassroots efforts. Most of the research conceptualizes teacher leaders as delivering reforms handed down by higher authorities. There has been little focus on teachers initiating bottom-up improvements based on their own values and priorities.
- Effective change agents have certain key traits like strong subject knowledge, a growth mindset, and collaboration skills. Years of experience and mastery of content also help teacher leaders gain respect and influence colleagues.
- Teacher change agents drive reform through inquiry, introducing ideas, testing innovations, and refining practices. Rather than just disseminating information, they actively engage peers in developing and applying new approaches.
- Rigorous evidence is limited, but teacher leaders can positively impact teaching practices and student outcomes. For example, studies associate teacher leadership with improved math and reading achievement.
- Enabling factors include principal support, teacher buy-in, training, and autonomy. Lack of resources, resistance, and unclear roles are barriers for teacher change efforts.
Clearly, teachers are central to the hard work of improving schools. But major knowledge gaps remain when it comes to bottom-up, teacher-led change. As education moves forward, we need more research on how teachers can effectively lead reforms for the benefit of both students and the teaching profession. Teachers have immense knowledge and experience to contribute if given the opportunity.

Each year in the U.S., roughly 300 - 400 physicians die by suicide;
- In the U.S., suicide deaths are 250 - 400% higher among female physicians when compared to females in other professions;
- In the general population, males complete suicide four times more often than females. However, female physicians have a rate equal to male physicians;
- Medical students have rates of depression 15 to 30% higher than the general population. Depression is a major risk factor in physician suicide. Other factors include bipolar disorder and alcohol and substance abuse;
- Women physicians have a higher rate of major depression than age-matched women with doctorate degrees;
- Contributing to the higher suicide rate among physicians is their higher completion to attempt ratio, which may result from greater knowledge of lethality of drugs and easy access to means.

In connection with the development of artificial intelligence, which is increasingly replacing humans in the performance of various activities and professions, and in a situation of increasing labor productivity through its greater automation and objectification, should people's working time be reduced?
Accordingly, should people's working time be reduced, for example, from 5 working days per week to 4 working days?
Features of highly developed economies include high levels of productivity, innovation in the economic activities of companies and enterprises, the use of new technologies in manufacturing processes, labor productivity and income. High levels of labor productivity are largely due to the use of new technologies in the processes of producing goods and offering services. In recent years, new ICT information technologies, Industry 4.0 technologies, typical of the current fourth technological revolution, including machine learning technologies, deep learning and artificial intelligence, are being applied to the manufacturing processes of companies and enterprises operating in various sectors of the economy. these technologies are now and in the next several years will change labor markets by replacing people in certain jobs or supporting, improving the work done by people. As some of the work done by humans will be taken over by artificial intelligence then perhaps there will be an opportunity to reduce working hours for humans. When this kind of solution is applied then labor productivity should not decline, as productivity will be maintained at a certain level or will increase and employed citizens will have more time for personal activities, leisure, hobbies, for family, dal to develop personal passions, etc. and thus can be more productive and creative during work time.
In view of the above, I address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:

State board exams must be compulsory in some professions since diplomas of so many universities can't be trusted at all and are founded for profit & they act as diploma mill !

Not all but so many state, private & foundation university diplomas in many countries are not credible enough unless extra credited by other offically accepted board exams of relevent countries but if there are no such credible boards available in that countries, therefore what can be done !?

"Amrit kaal" refers to the current era of rapid technological advancements, globalization, and socio-economic changes. In this context, social work can be defined as a profession that aims to promote social change, empowerment, and the well-being of individuals, families, communities, and society at large.
It is in fact inevitable that the future of tertiary level language teaching will be ESP approach based. Catering the learners' language need is the central focus. Based on learners' professional language need the course will be designed and the materials (texts for comprehension, listening scripts for listening, professional based writing genres and profession based situational speaking activities such as role plays, group discussion, presentation) will be provided.
ESP approach of language teaching expects the teachers to transform themselves to be an ESP practitioners so as to play the different roles of ESP practitioner. Learner-based and learning-based teaching will involve content-based instruction in dong the activities and tasks in the classroom.

With availability of multiple imaging modalities, it's important for the authorities in the radiology profession to redefine the medical conditions that would require Babygram in line with ALARA principle.
The human population has grown significantly, so has anthropogenic activities. Our economies have become more industrialized over the past few hundred years, and as a result many more people have moved into towns and cities. Nearly 70% of the world's population lives in the urban areas and are attracted by jobs in manufacturing and the professions, as well as by increased opportunities for education, health, basic amenities and entertainment.
It is estimated (e.g. by IMO) that there is only 1-2% of women working at sea. What are the causes of this underrepresentation? Do women themselves are not willing to undertake such professional challenges? Are the socio-cultural obstacles (biases)? Maybe the sector needs more diversity management programmes? Maybe there are some legal obstacles, maybe in some countries or under some conventions women are not allowed to enter maritime professions? Do you think is there a growing tendency of women's presence at sea?
I am starting this discussion for potential collaboration with peers/colleagues coming from fields within and beyond occupational therapy and occupational science.
I am looking into submitting an abstract at the Occupational Science Europe Conference 2023 (Denmark)--and eventually publishing it as a paper--about how occupational therapy, as a profession and as a service, for the middle class population?
I have parked this idea for two years now but for 2023, it will be nice to illuminate about the potential exclusivity of occupational therapy to middle class professionals, students, and end users. Whilst middle class means differently from various perspectives and cultures, it is defined conceptually as a socioeconomic status in-between the upperclass and the working class. This class is constituted of people who are educated (with higher education degrees), employed in stable jobs, have a disposable income (due to multiple income sources) to afford minor luxuries to live a privileged lifestyle, and have a mindset of achieving quality of life and improving lifestyles. This group of people are also the ones who can afford services such as occupational therapy either by health insurance systems or out-of-pocket expenses.
More than merely speculating that the middle class (and above) are the only ones who can afford occupational therapy services, especially in low-middle income countries, there is a need to create a tangible evidence base to see if occupational therapy, as a profession, is true to its tenets of supporting ALL those in need of health and social care? Or is occupational therapy just available for a chosen few?

There are different roles for an ESP practitioner. If an ESP practitioner transforms completely understanding all her/his roles, it will enhance students' communication skills. However, there are many teachers working in nursing, marine, aviation, hotel management, tourism development etc. colleges are not aware of their role as an ESP practitioner. Most of them are not even aware of their different role as an ESP practitioner. English Language teaching in professional colleges are similar to any other colleges. They do not design the course, they do not have enough knowledge about the students' future needs in their profession i.e. needs analysis is not being carried out. Texts used for teaching reading is not related to the profession they are preparing to.
As Dubar (1980) puts it, the economic weight is so important in training engagement that it is useless to be burdened with "interest" or "motivation" in training. The teaching profession, not being perceived as one of the best-paid professions, is, therefore, inclined to question the motivations of teachers. What motivates teacher engagement? Why do academics engage in teaching? Why do baccalaureate graduates engage in training leading to a diploma as a school teacher? I have on three occasions conducted investigations that have proved that the economic motive if it was a reason for survival has given way to other reasons for more than one. One more reason to ask: what are the motivations of teachers engaged in primary, secondary, or university education? Are there any differences?
I am looking for suggested reading on the "neuroscience of trust" if anyone is aware of such or related studies.
I am researching how practitioners in "helping professions" for young people who offend practitioners can develop "trusting" relationships with the young people they support - ages eight to twenty-five years - to allow for meaningful and transformational interactions for both.
I hypothesize that hermeneutical injustice negates meaningful engagements and understanding the formation of trust socially and neuroscientifically, might help illuminate my investigation.

Obviously, an artist is someone who creates art, just a baker is someone who makes bread. These are simply trades and professions; that is, means by which different people make their livings. Unlike baking however, the difficulty lies in defining "art." Art is pretty much whatever anybody says it is, and an artist is similarly anybody who says he is one. This leaves any definition of "artist" and "art" so vague as to be meaningless. In your opinion, who is an Artist?
At present, the economies of developed countries are entering the period of the fourth technological revolution known as Industry 4.0.
The previous three technological revolutions:
1. The industrial revolution of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, determined mainly by the industrial application of the invention of a steam engine.
2. Electricity era of the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century.
3. The IT revolution of the second half of the twentieth century determined by computerization, computerization, the widespread use of the Internet and the beginning of the development of robotization.
The current fourth technological revolution, known as Industry 4.0, is motivated by the development of the following factors:
- artificial intelligence,
- cloud computing,
- machine learning,
- Big Data database technologies,
- Internet of Things.
In every previous technological revolution, the same question was repeated many times. However, economies developed and changed structurally and labor markets returned to balance. Periodically, short-term economic crises appeared, but their negative economic effects, such as falling income and rising unemployment, were quickly reduced by active state intervention.
It seems to me that self-malting and robotization, IT, artificial intelligence, learning machines will change the labor markets, but this does not necessarily mean a large increase in unemployment. New professions, occupations, specialties in these areas of knowledge and technology will be created. Someone, after all, these machines, robots, etc. must design, create, test, control, and implement into production processes.
Therefore, I am asking you:
Will the technological development based on self-mulization, robotization, IT development, artificial intelligence, machine learning increase unemployment in the future?

We live in an era when the Mathematics of Nonlinear Dynamics have been making inroads into almost every discipline and profession. A qualitative outcome of this mathematical field is the realization that what in Economics (and Econometrics) are described as "steady states" and "long run equilibria" are very unlikely in theory, in addition to being difficult to empirically document their presence in practice (in extended time series data).
On the other hand, a significant new field has emerged in Social Sciences (Economics, Sociology and Demography) as well as in almost all professions (Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Journalism, etc.) where a movement towards "sustainability" is omnipresent. The movement enjoys apparently widespread popular support all over the Globe. However, the precise definition of what exactly is "sustainability", in an epoch of fast societal, economic, cultural and technological change remains elusive.
Hence, my question to this community: "What exactly is 'sustainable' development"?
Prevention and evidence are becoming a so-called "paradigm" of special education in the 21st century. Disciplinary and professional developments take place in confrontation with these "methodologies of scientific research programmes" (Lakatos, 1977). But do prevention and evidence in the sense of Kuhn's (1976) paradigm concept already find a general consensus in the field of special needs education?
Aspects of ethics and the normative embedding of such a preventive approach need to be discussed in addition to evidence-based science and practice. Prevention and evidence are to be discussed - within a scope of discipline and profession that is to be determined again and again - as research programmes of special education with risks and side effects, but also with possibilities and chances.

This is the biggest doubt and worry in my life with regard to my profession (agriculturalist)!!! Once upon a time, I raised my heartfelt question to farmers. My question was "Is being a farmer profitable?"
The farmers' answers were really wonderful and may keep you speechless "professional".
They answered it this way:
- "If a farmer could calculate all his/her costs/risks, there would be no farmer at all."
- "We farmers are not living for profit but for survival."
- Others exceptionally answered it this way: "God is wise for creating death because He is the only thinker for farmers. Farmers take rest only when they die." This is the reason why death is also called "REST".
- etc.
Farmers never had rest, and work day and night for the whole year. Keep their livestock, till the land, feed oxen, then come sowing, weeding, fertilizing, irrigation, fencing, harvesting, threshing, packaging, transporting, marketing.. and a lot. The farmers have felt the pains hit by rain, wind, cold, and heat/drought during their harsh livelihood. The farmers get all their sweets on;y from their sweat. Blessed to be a farmer!!!!!
The farmers put everything they can to the farm, but the traders "get the price" without tilling the land, weeding, threshing, harvesting, etc. Here comes the prominent saying "TRUTH is stranger than FICTION".
What do you think is the problem? How can it be solved in the future?
Things to be considered rationally for the fruitness of this discussion:
- Who is a FARMER? (Particularly smallholder, an uneducated, poor farmer, etc.)
- Who is the farm-product TRADER?
- What should be the TRUE PROFIT of a real trader (I doubt if we have real traders!!!)
- Say, I am a farm-product trader and I bought it from a farmer say with 100 dollars; for how much should I sell it for a reasonable profit? 10%, 100%, 1000% or what?
- Why is trading full of fake acts? (at least in my context)!!!

I am confused and reached the stage of intellectual confusion. I chose any questions for the personal interview to research a MBA with an exploratory approach and primary qualitative data that can be extracted through one data collection tool, which is the semi-structured interview, or unstructured, given that the participants are mostly a group of work friends. And the profession in other companies, these companies are under research and exploration to clarify the main topic, which is (aligning social media with business strategy, and showing the impact on organizational performance) in the industrial sector, heavy equipment companies and heavy spare parts. The question is: Are there good and specific sample questions for the semi-structured or unstructured interview, these questions express exploratory research and qualitative data with deductive or inductive results? Is it preferable that the questions be closed according to specific options for answering? Or would they prefer to be open and leave the door wide open for them to answer freely?
Factors that affect the choice of career (profession) are explained in different ways. Do you think that these factors are mostly about media (social media, TV, series, movies, etc.) today? Or do traditional factors still continue to be effective in choosing a profession?
What does it entail to be a teacher? Is it just one of the jobs out there or it is a responsibility with monetary benefits or should it be a profession? For the last part, one might need to look at the definition of a "profession".

I want to find out which profession is capable of taking up a management position in a health organization.
I wonder if experienced and professional scientists within this network give me feedback. Some scientists start their profession at a late age (40-50 years). Their earlier career is unrelated to their professional careers ( about 10-20 years of service). After joining the new career especially if they joined universities, they will be quickly professors. They do not have problems with the publication, they write a lot!! But, when you seriously follow their outputs to development or science it is insignificant. When they fail to deliver in their area of the profession, they become politicians. They go back to their earlier careers than their scientific profession. Am I right?
It is clear that this pandemic has had a significant influence on social work, in addition to others in the social sphere. But how do you think it will really evolve when normality returns? Will this type of profession be devalued again or will the esteem of the public and of politics in general continue to increase?

And the result of this extensive study is a review article entitled "Barriers to non-implementation of the nursing process in developing countries: A narrative review".

I believe that the development of a sociological community of interests to be crucial for the consolidation of the profession of the sociologist. In many countries, weak forms of sociological association are not supporting sociologists working in non-academic settings with regards to interprofessional conflicts and a public presence that conveys and transmits the usefulness of the profession and the discipline. Sociologists rarely use the skills acquired through formal education to strengthen their position in the labor market through collective actions.
The emerging changes in teaching and learning have modified the role of teachers in different professions. Although the adjusted roles is due to the new requirments an demands of the system. But these altertations have resulted in the overworking of teachers leading to decreased focus on teaching. The course planning, , assessments, meetings, assignments etc along with the documentation and regular reporting to authorities need a lot of clerical working which adversaly influence the prime role.
I am currently writing my undergrad thesis and part of the research I am conducting requires that I carry out interviews with relevant stakeholders and professionals. These individuals will vary in profession and I am wondering as to if the questions I ask them should vary also, or should they be standardised?
The research topic is on alternative methods of producing social housing in Ireland and the professionals to be interviewed will be a mixture of professors, policymakers, local government representatives and planners.
