Many supervisors make the mistake of dictating what topic their students should have. The result is often an uninspired PhD student whose sole motivation is to get a degree, and who is unlikely to come up with original work. The student's interest matters. The supervisors role is to help improve the topic, where necessary, but not to determine it. This is why students sometimes complain about the supervision they are getting and ask for a change of supervisor.

Die Corona-Pandemie führt zu einer Vielzahl von Entwicklugen in unserer Gesellschaft. Vielfach wird die Meinung vertreten: "Es wird nie mehr so sein, wie es einmal war". Eine Vielzahl von Begleiterscheinungen der Pandemie und ihre Konsequenzen für die Gesellschaft sind wahrscheinlich. Sie sind Gegenstand unterschiedlicher Wissenschaftsdisziplinen.
Mich interessiert, welche "Gegenstände" insbesondere von der Pädagogischen Psychologie jetzt und in absehbarer Zukunft angegangen werde müssen, insbesondere wo die Pädagogische Psychologie als Wissenschaftsdisziplin Hilfestellungen für die Geselslchaft leisten müsste und auch in einer Beratungsfunktion für die Politik tätig werden sollte.

Which are the most important pollutants to analyse in a river? Due to a time limit, I can not analyse all the elements in the river, for that reason I would like to focus on the most important ~ 5 pollutants which cause the main danger in human health.
I am working on the topic "Ishem River Cleaning Programme". Ishem is a very polluted river in Albania which you can see it also from the video of ZDF-Auslandsjournal starting from the minute 00:44. https://www.zdf.de/politik/auslandsjournal/albaniens-dreckiges-geschaeft-100.html.
After deciding on the most important pollutants I would like to analyse also the plants, soil and drinking water to see how far has gone this pollutants. I think this is the only way to have some real results on my hand which could help me in some further practical steps on cleaning the river.

Is Real Politik (advanced by Kissenger in the recent past) the way forward for politicians?

Is it better to engage in Real Politik (seen amongst other characteristics) as dealing with heads of states who torture and murder or keep to ideals?
Isn't Real Politik itself an ideal expressing concepts of order rather than justice?

Answer
I believe that a certain dose of Real Politik is proper to each politician and to each government.
The primary purpose of Real Politik is certainly not justice but I do not think it's just a matter of order but also of business, of relations of power between countries and of short and medium-term expediency.
