A plant genus of the family PIPERACEAE that is indigenous in the Indian Malay region and cultivated in Madagascar, and the West Indies. It contains chavibetol, chavicol and cadinene. The leaf is chewed as a stimulant, antiseptic and sialogogue. The common name of betel is also used for ARECA.

i exposed e coli to piper betle aqueous extract, and the cell density are look like this, why on 10th generation the density was increase and after that decreased, but in 100th generation the density was increase again and after that decreased again?

Therefore if you are using 5ul into 100ul you are doing a 20-fold dilution each time. So if your growth rate was slowed down due to the extract, you may be diluting the cells out more quickly than they are growing. You should do a growth curve in medium with and without extract to really understand what your generation time is with the extract.
