I am researching gender stereotyping in food advertising. I find it quite telling that some of the food advertisements in women's magazines have gender stereotyping issues. Although it has improved, advertisers still have a habit of using gender social roles to promote their products.

How to make a publication credible even if it is not published in any book, newspaper or magazine? Because it is very tedious to be able to be published anywhere, just already the technical constraints of writing are unpleasant for a researcher.
So my question: how to validate an unpublished work?

Famous mathematicians are failing each day to prove the Riemann's Hypothesis even if Clay Mathematics Institute proposes a prize of One Million Dollars for the proof.
The proof of Riemann's Hypothesis would allow us to understand better the distribution of prime numbers between all numbers and would also allow its official application in Quantics. However, many famous scientists still refuse the use of Riemann's Hypothesis in Quantics as I read in an article of Quanta Magazine.
Why is this Hypothesis so difficult to prove? And is the Zeta extension really useful for Physics and especially for Quantics ? Are Quantics scientists using the wrong mathematical tools when applying Riemann's Hypothesis ? Is Riemann's Hypothesis announcing "the schism" between abstract mathematics and Physics ? Can anyone propose a disproof of Riemann's Hypothesis based on Physics facts?
Here is the link to the article of Natalie Wolchover:
The zeros of the Riemann zeta function can also be caused by the use of rearrangements when trying to find an image by the extension since the Lévy–Steinitz theorem can happen when fixing a and b.
Suppositions or axioms should be made before trying to use the extension depending on the scientific field where it is demanded, and we should be sure if all the possible methods (rearrangements of series terms) can give the same image for a known s=a+ib.
You should also know that the Lévy–Steinitz theorem was formulated in 1905 and 1913, whereas, the Riemann's Hypothesis was formulated in 1859. This means that Riemann who died in 1866 and even the famous Euler never knew the Lévy–Steinitz theorem.
I have just started my doctoral in NLP Domain. As I can see there are a lot of papers in this research area, what I realized while doing a literature review is that good publication, or any publication are complicated and it may take me some years to have something which can be delivered. Thus What is something else I can do apart from publications that might give positive weightage as an academician career-wise, a biweekly newsletter, or some technical paper that goes into some recent outstanding paper in my field
Aubrey et al. (2019) wrote a paper "Subseries/Subepochs approved as a formal rank in the International Stratigraphic Guide" which created clarity for the Holocene, but leaves formalisation of subseries/subepoch names for the rest of the Cainozoic to the respective subcommittees.
This has created a confusing situation for authors of manuscripts and editors of scientific magazines. First because it makes it hard to know the actual status for each and second because it could result in the undesirable situation of (temporarily) having different decisions per series/epoch.
My question is whether this is still the actual status or further progress has been made.
The paper is available on ResearchGate:

Can I get an email address for a magazine specialized in strategic management classified under Scopus
How can we protect our article after it has been submitted to a magazine and there is a risk that it will be stolen or scammed? Would posting it here as a draft without being published in a journal before would help protect it before it will be stolen?
Hello everyone,
Recently, we received an invitation from the editorial office of "International Journal of nanomaterials, nanotechnology and nanomedicine" as a long-term reviewer and future editorial board.
We want to know the reputation and true level of this magazine, is it a possible rogue magazine?
Thanks for your reply.
Welcome
I need a proposal about scientific journals in financial and banking sciences that are easy to deal with in terms of speed of response and answer, reliable and not classified within Scopus or Elsevier?
Looking forward to all of your suggestions as I currently had a discussion about that with some of my peers from the department. I will share your answers with them! Thank you very much to everyone.
If the magazine is included in Clarivate and Scopus but does not contain any arrangement of Q numbers within its information, meaning it does not contain any of these quarters, what does it mean?
These journals, especially high-impact ones, submit papers for the purpose of review and comment writing.
We, the auditors, audit and review, follow references and scientific content, study and analyze results, and look at the information sequence and its validity.
These operations take several hours and perhaps days, depending on the search volume.
These high-impact, world-class domains charge a minimum publishing fee of $2,000.
Despite this, our references do not find any financial reward or scientific benefit. Both say thank you and you did a good job.
Or some of them suggest that you add the search you reviewed to a specific site such as publons..
What is the ethical aspect of dealing with these journals, and is their work of scientific ethics?
When do we waste hours and days? What did we gain? What is the return to us?
How do we deal with this research? Are there suggestions to respect and fair reviewers, or to give them discounts for publishing in these magazines or for a specific fee?
I need a continuous time series data for FDI in primary, Secondary and tertiary sectors in India for the period 1980-2021. Can anyone tell me where can I find it ? I have seen DIPP SIA newsletter but that does not give data breakup wise of primary ,secondary and tertiary sectors.

Hello seniors,
I am new to my field of study and a PhD aspirant. We all know that there are thousands of research journals and magazines worldwide that publish documents in many areas. It is impossible to go through all these materials to find the material needed regarding the field/area.
I want to know how an expert in a field/area keeps himself informed about his field?
I am looking at pre-existing heterogeneous data (journal articles, magazine articles, newspaper articles, blog posts) to establish certain themes in a particular phenomenon. These themes are informed by theory. I don't know what research design best suits this approach. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Impact Factor indicators for scientific journals for 2020 have just been published. More journals boast and celebrate that their IF has increased by a few, a dozen or even several dozen percent. I am intentionally not mentioning what kind of magazines they are. Why?
Because the IF grows for everyone. Every year. what does it mean? Isn't that a bit like a credited science bubble? Every year there are more articles, the global number of citations and therefore the IF is growing. Will there be new indicators? For example, the annual growth rate IF : )? If everyone grows, this is how the impact indicator should now be measured.
What are your views on IF inflation?

We're starting to use touchscreens with pigeons in an arrangement I have not used before, so I need your expertise. The arrangement is a large touchscreen at the other end of the experimental chamber from the magazine. The Python autoshaping program that I have written does the usual things -- presents a "key" of randomized colors and locations on the black screen, followed by food delivery. The chambers we use are lit with normal room lighting
Will this work? It worries me that magazine training will engender hanging around by the hopper, so detecting the key onset may be difficult.
If any of you have expertise in autoshaping under such conditions, I'd appreciate any information
Thanks - michael
Hello! I am a young researcher and my specialization is "Land management, cadastres and land monitoring" (in Russian it is "ВАК 25.00.26"). I want to publish my research in Scopus and WoS magazines, but I don not know anybody in my University, who have experience with journals on the profile of land management and cadastres (most of scientists have been published in journals on economics or geoinformatics, but not on land management). So, do you know any scientific magazines (not predatory publishing) in this specialisation? Magazines on socio-economic geography and geoinformatics (German-language and English-language editions) will also be suitable.

A magazine printed a survey in its monthly issue and asked readers to complete
it and send it back. Over 1000 readers did so.What is the type of thais sampling?
What are some of the newsletters, groups or mailing lists that people have signed up for that give information of upcoming funding for research projects?
All sizes of grant would be great. Thanks Paul
Halton (Chip) Arp along with Edwin Hubble were the greatest astronomer/astrophysicists of 20th century. While Hubble's name is much used and abused; Arp's (some call him the Galileo of modern times) name is hardly ever mentioned in the narrative of official astrophysics and cosmology. Arp's name is famously associated with the Quasars, but in the present narrative on Quasars in Wikipedia, his name does not even merit any mention!
Quasars represent the biggest embarrassment of the Big Bang creation cosmology, based on mathematical idealism and the General Relativity (RG) that has replaced theology as the ruling idea for monopoly capitalism. Since it was first suggested by Halton (Chip) Arp few decades ago that high red shift quasars are ejects from nearby (low red shift) active galaxies, mountain of rapidly accumulating observational evidence including quasar – galaxy associations, close pair of quasars, their alignments and groupings, red shift periodicity and quantized redshifts effect etc. [1 - 4 ] is making breeches in the high walls of closely guarded Big Bang paradigm that obstinately refuges to accept [5] the ejection theory. In one of the most famous cases involving NGC 4319 and the quasar Markarian 205 Arp and his associate Jack Sulentic demonstrated a luminous link between the two; both from the pictures of an amateur astronomer and the one taken later by Hubble Space Telescope as shown below (Fig. 1):
📷📷
Fig. 1
But it was as usual strongly denied [6], as a line-of-sight occurrence. Statement by Arp [7]: “Science, 11 Oct. 2002, p. 345, ran a small article on the statements from both sides, but most science magazines just accepted the NASA release as refutation of the connection. Personally, I can say that after more than 30 years of evidence disputed by widely publicized opinions that the bridge was false, I was saddened that not one prominent professional has now come forward to attest that it is, in fact, real”.
Arp was forgotten by mainstream astrophysics community and ejection trails of the quasars were totally abolished and vehemently denied, even after the following "Deep Spectroscopy in the Field of 3C 212" image turned up [8]. The quasar 3C 212 photo is shown (Fig. 2), overlaid with a green-tinted radio emission map. To the SE there is an optical feature nearly matched by a radio feature, but in the NW there is a brilliant horse-head-shaped radio emission which connects unbroken to the QSO with a long neck in between. Beyond this emission, further out from the QSO but in a perfect line with the QSO -radio horsehead axis, there is an optical horse's head, identical in every significant morphological way (i.e. they look just the same). Both radio & optical horseheads are revealed in the article to be close doublets, with one emission at the eye and another of the mouth of the horseheads.
📷
Fig. 2
In line with official cosmology, the original authors [8] interpreted this image as, “.. the horsehead features ... ...are ... not ...related”. Now Bruno Leibundgut and Jesper Sollerman [9] have a good laugh and interpret the image in the following way, in line with poor Halton (Chip) Arp, long after he is gone and forgotten!
“Some reflection shows us what is happening in this photo. The QSO 3C212 is surrounded by a spherical shell of material similar to rings seen around stars (which are spherical shells seen edge-on). It has ejected the doublet f & g along its polar axis. The horsehead f represents a significant amount of material, and left a radio trace of its emergence out of 3C212. When f and g reached the spherical shell they splashed through, leaving a radio signature on the shell. The horsehead f left a horsehead-shaped splash. The simple object g splashed through and has left simple ripples in the shell. Go on, look -- there are two ripples, indicating the spherical shell has two layers. Simple, really, once you see it.
So now it becomes clearer. The QSO 3C212 is at redshift z=1.049, f is at z=0.928, and so is hurtling toward us with radial speed of about z=0.121 (ignoring "instrinsic" redshift component, see below). The redshift of g has been measured at 1.054, so has a small radial speed away from us of z=0.005. There, now that wasn't so hard, was it? All we need to do it accept that redshift can stem from more than just cosmological distance”.

My questions came from my need to show up my work. I have done many written works but nor research as I am busy on practice more than theory although theory is important so my sub questions are:
can I publish a non published article in any journal or magazine?
when Research Gate provide DOT?
although I published in the RG, I like to have my work optimized in RG, so please provide me with technical support especially that we have scarce resources in the context of Gaza
or at lease for me who have large experience but not affiliated to any university
Best regards
Dear friends:
I have read many times in RG diverse opinions about some not so benevolent practices of certain scientific magazines. All of us are interested in creating good things with quality. Is it so difficult to create a scientific magazine?
What strategies do you use and believe to be most effective in communicating science to the general public?
Sometimes I use publishing in blogs and technical magazines, in addition to linking my latest publications in the signature of the emails. However, these methods seem to me to be ineffective.
Dear colleagues:
I have received many emails from a magazine called ournal of Research in Humanities and Social Science. I have gone to the website of this journal, and I read "some" indexes but, I have checked the websites of those indexes and I have not seen this journal registered.
My question is: Is it appropriate to publish here? Is it a predatory journal? I have seen in RG two years ago, a discussion about this but I don't know if there is any news.
I am very grateful for your ideas and recommendations. Greetings to all.
I have been waiting for a review from a journal in Australia for about a year. It will be one year on November 21, 2020. Is this normal? What do you think about the journals extending their review times that much?
May be that journal/magazine is your favorite and famous journal in your field. If you shared here, it will help to aware to me & RG Members.....

I'm working on my final research proposal right now and found some very interesting statistics about family-businesses worldwide. The problem is, that I only have Tharawat Magazine as source: https://www.tharawat-magazine.com/economic-impact-family-businesses/
The problem is, that the Website is more or less trustworthy. There is no real imprint and there is no real proof, that this magazine on family business is relevant.
I double-checked some of the metrics with my research I have done so far and it seems to be feasible. I also see in other article in this magazine, that relevant authors in my field of research have published their.
Does anybody, have some further proofs, that this magazine have an impact on family-businesses and if its okay to use the statistics in my research for a first draft?
Thanks for you help,
Christian

Some journals do not accept review papers because they consider that the theoretical framework is the basis of a research, and not the research itself. Other magazines already accept and encourage this type of publication. what do you think about?
Dear Scientists,
Together with my friends I wrote an article entitled " Social responsibility as a tool for the development of human resources quasi-innovation in the tourism industry". I would like to ask if you know a free magazine that would publish our article in this year. I would be grateful for an answer or guidance.
Sadly to receive emails from ELSEVIER that the two Q4 SCOPUS Indexed Journals (Test Magazine Journal and International Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering- IJITEE) are currently being investigated to add the contents further which will take approximately 2 months for the decision to be taken, also ELSEVIER system will not allow the two journals to add any content until a decision is taken.
In case they are found to be a predatory journal, can we withdraw our papers from them? Does anyone have experience of withdrawing papers from predatory journals? Please advise me...

Every women seeks to be vivid and charm,
standards are changing as we speak. What was considered perfect-looking and gorgeous 10 years ago is totally different now. Each year some new feature comes up that makes women tweak their appearance just a little bit to match the new trend. Yet lately there’s been a positive shift towards natural beauty in fashion industry. This means less pressure on ladies to look skinny and bony both on catwalks and in real life. More plus models are appearing in fashion magazines and shops, reminding everyone of the diversity of female body shapes and personalities. As for India, one of its main beauty standards has always been a voluptuous woman, whose curves were a sign of health, wealth, and prosperity. This, too, changed with the fashion trends coming from the East, and now curvaceous Indian women are slowly taking back their positions both in real life and in fashion industry. Here are top 7 Indian plus models that look simply stunning.so are there new rules to make womens more happy and charm?

Dear fellow researchers, I have published two papers in December 2019 and February 2020 in TEST Engineering & Management Magazine but my name and affiliation were incorrectly stated. I have tried to email, call, and fax the Editor of the Journal to make corrections but sadly the Editor seems irresponsive. Thus, I would be obliged if anyone could kindly assist me with alternative ways to contact the Editor ( (other emails, Whatsapp, or phone number) instead of the contact info provided by the Journal's website or if you know anyone who can I refer and can help me to correct the information in both of my published papers.
Please advise. JazakAllah and thank you very much.

Hi. Please introduce me a magazine(s) that is free to print with impact factor 2-3 in the field of diabetes.
thanks a lot.
I need assistance in getting my four articles written on the livestock sector in Africa published for me.
I have written four articles in readiness to send them to magazines for which the topics on which I reflect may be of interest. As I am not an academic (although I write a doctoral thesis) and I do not have an "academic career", I do not have enough information to choose the journals to which to send my article proposals:
a) On feminist epistemology and militant research
b) On social movements and feminist thinking
c) On new socio-historical readings of the feminist movement
d) On the meaning of the "revolution" (as a transformation of the patriarchal social order) in the light of feminist thought
Can you suggest me magazines?
THANKS!!

The Economist February 27, 20120 issue in the Free Exchange column which appears in the magazine’s Finance and Economics section, has an article: How to get more innovation bang for the research buck.
Are the economic incentives for innovation inadequate?
I am skeptical that the remedy is in economics, but maybe wrongly. Is this about money?
How I can find freely? Somewhere it is available but it is very costly (Chemical engineering magazine). So I am looking any alternative if available. Please suggest me.
Hello all,
I have been advised to include the grey literature in the review for. my PhD. I am confident in how to review articles that appear in the peer-reviewed periodicals but I am struggling with the grey literature (conference papers, articles in professional bulletins or magazines etc.) As you all know, these are usually short and certainly don't match the rigour of an article published in a journal I've been trying to find help on the net, to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you,

This year, Clarivate Analytics, the editors of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), deleted 20 journals, 14 for high levels of self-citation and six for the stacking of citations, a pattern informally known as a "cartel of citations." In addition, he received five magazines that he described as Editorial Expression Concern after learning about the anomalies of citations after the finalization of the 2018 report. The JCR suppression lasts one year.
What is your opinion about this trend?
A scientific journal is a periodical press title published in the form of a journal. The number of scientific journals has risen sharply in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. a very large number of these journals are predatory. What does it mean to be a predatory magazine?
A set of friends and I were considering proposing a new journal, but I have questions about the process. We would like to propose an indexed journal for example, Springer or Elsevier.
In my research for my PhD, I seek to investigate the relationship between ISIS and Ibn Taymiyyah as a representative of Salafism through the primary sources of ISIS (magazines), and Ibn Taymiyyah's work. This comparison will be based on Ibn Taymiyyah's citations in these magazines. After evaluating these citations, I will examine the common matrix among these citations that will be the concepts of our work. So, my work will take those concepts into account (let's say 3 or 4 concepts, and each one could be a chapter). However, I am still thinking which theory (or theories ) could be applied in my research?
In my work, I will look at the interpretations of the Islamic state of these concepts and compare them with the arguments of Ibn Taymiyah to examine out the similarities and differences between the two interpretations. So, I have some questions regarding this:
1- Is it the right way to make this comparison?
2- Do I need a theory (or theories ) to be applied?
I welcome any suggestions.
