I am interested to receive some papers that are dealing with economic analysis of the environmental damages at the Mediterranean watersheds?
I am working on the analysis of sediment yield and runoff at the Adriatic watersheds in Montenegro. I am interested to receive some papers that are dealing with economic analysis of the environmental damages at the Mediterranean watersheds.
In addition to that, I am kindly asking for the advice on how to use the modelling on the ungagged watersheds (the problem may be on how to do the modelling and analysis without measurements – model validations).
Is it possible to find one watershed in Mediterranean region that is using Erosion potential model that is with the modelling results, but validated.
I find difficult to use modelling as all the rivers that I am researching are inflowing to the Adriatic Sea. So, there are no data on measurements/bathymetry. And how to do the validation of the model?
Once I have a model - valid, than I can do the various analysis after…
Please advice.

Dear Ari and Zeinab,
Thank you for providing me this good tips and recommending me this good literature. Now, I will read all of this and will see how this may fit in some of my future research.
Furthermore, I am sending the best regards to Zeinab remembering our good communication during the International Conference in Jahorina, 2018.

How to perform a study on plants from countries belonging to Nagoya Protocol?
Is it sufficient to mention the country?  or to add the name of a scientist from that country?
Relevant answer
Answer
Dear Ammar,
You need to apply for a Permission to Import 'Genetic Heritage'. Each country has its own procedures (but some still did not implement any one!). The better is to first arrange a collaboration with an university in the country by exchanging Material Transfer Agreements and a Memorandum of Understanding. Then identify the right Governmental body/office dealing with the Nagoya protocol (this is sometimes difficult) and apply for the list of plants you want to work on.
Good luck!
