At present, the dust storm has more and intense in the Middle East and have many environmental problems for some countries in this region especially in Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, and Iran ,
Some researchers and scientists say that this problem is caused by climate change and others say by improper water management. For example, the construction of river dams in Turkey, Syria and other countries is the main cause of dust intensification. what is your opinion?

Here is the example from our Death Valley, the driest place (5.5 cm rain/year) in our country--in non-saline soils, there is still seeds in the soil to produce some plant cover on every square meter, and that could be a goal for your country also.
No more bare soil anywhere in Iran, all with some native vegetation cover, to lock that soil down, and keep it from becoming airborne, as your question was interested in discussing the dust storms.
Your one billion trees in four years will be a good start, and by applying the bandaid of wildflowers and native grasses to the bare soil in non-saline soils, so that there is some native vegetation on every square meter, will be the beginning of a rapid turn around for your country with zero dust storms plus a massive increase in annual rainfall.
Especially rapid changes, if you add the ICE+ host plants. I have a lot of confidence that Iran can be a leader in this effort, that every country around you could learn from.

A current, developmental, interesting topic for a doctoral dissertation. I research and describe the issues of social media and their use by companies and enterprises of the SME sector in my publications, taking into account market research, analysis of Internet users' sentiment towards specific offers of products and services of companies carried out with the use of Big Data Analytics platforms. In addition, I research and describe in my articles the issues of the use of social media portals by companies and enterprises in the field of marketing communication. I described the issues of marketing innovations used on social media portals as well as the issues of cybercrime and cybersecurity regarding new online media. Currently, an interesting issue is also the impact of the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic on the functioning of SME sector companies operating in individual sectors of the economy. During the pandemic, many companies from the SME sector carried out remedial and development restructuring processes through the implementation of investment projects in which new information technologies such as ICT, Industry 4.0 and Internet were implemented into the company's economic processes. As a result of these processes, during the pandemic, there was a significant increase in the digitization and Internetisation of economic processes carried out by companies and enterprises operating in the SME sector. Many service companies that were subject to lockdowns during the pandemic saved themselves from bankruptcy by changing the business model of distributing their offer of products and services, under which an online platform for selling the offer of products or services is created and / or developed and online sales of manufactured goods are developed or services offered. Therefore, companies from the SME sector during the pandemic also developed internet marketing implemented, inter alia, by on social media portals. I have described these issues in the articles that I have posted on my profile of this Research Gate portal. I invite you to research cooperation.
Happy New Year 2022,
Be safe and healthy,
Best wishes,
Dariusz

I am doing a study about the vegetation change effect on wind, microtopography, aeolian activities and economy. The change in vegetation from 1974 until date 2019 from effecient native plants in controlling mobile sand and dust to low effecient plants. The average cost of one cubic meter removal of encroached sand around infrastructures in Kuwait is 1.32 USD. The annual total cost estimated from the changes in vegetation type in Kuwait is more than 35 million USD obtained from sand encroachment cost more than (31 million USD) plus CO2 cost ( more than 4 million USD). Therefore, are thier any case studies similar to this research in the world, please contribute that we can value native life around us and detect any changes and thier socioeconomic affect .

Answer
Thank you all for the nice contributions and happy Ramadhan.
As we publish recently a paper mentioning that: via monitoring mobile sand and dust using sand and dust traps we find that native plants and green belts have also contributed to the reduction in the annual rates of mobile sand by 94% and 95.3%, and dust by 64.5% and 68.4%, respectively.

I wonder if Mark knows about the work in this area by the late Adnan Saleh who did a PhD with Peter Johns and developed microporcessor based TLM hardware at the University of Kuwait? He was working with me at UEA, Norwich when Kuwait was invaded but returned to retrieve his hardware before it was appropriated and taken to Iraq. He achieved this with the help of his female postgraduates who secreted the processor boards within their clothing, knowing that they would not be searched by the Iraqi troops as they exited from the University.
