Does a proceeding publication will count as a publication of article?
Relevant answer
Answer
I can understand the points of both Dr Andrew Paul McKenzie Pegman and Dr Wolfgang R. Dick . I agree with the comment that HI articles are favoured. I note that SOME proceedings are indeed peer-reviewed. Not many, though.
Speaking for myself, I think they are not totally worthless, in the right setting. And sometimes they ARE Pubmed-listed. To me, that is good. In the same way, I also add that some people think letters to the editor are worthless. Again, I think if it is Pubmed-listed and well-read/scientifically-correct, it IS worth the effort for me.
That is particularly relevant for somebody like me when funding is hard to get for any reasonable trial but I want to publicise my opinions - particularly in relation to another publication. Even better if it generates attention in my field or department and it leads to the funding!
It is, as Dr Dan J Blanchon says, very variable according to the field as well.

The following information concerns the preparation of your assignment for the Financial Econometrics module. The aim is to write an academic paper (informative and formal) by analysing the data provided using the statistics knowledge acquired so far in the module.
For this assignment/exam, your aim is to explore the following research question:
“What determines profitability of European banks?”
1) You are expected to write the research work on your own.
2) You have to use the data set for European banks (“eurozone.xls”) available on the school’s portal. The data relates to various characteristics of the individual banks.
3) You are free to use any of the variables provided as long as your analysis is meaningful and tackles the research question. Please note that you should use the statistics you believe more appropriate for best describing the data set.
4) Please do not include raw data at the end of the paper since this would only waste paper.
However, you should select data from the original data set to prepare your assignment.
Assignment Structure
There are different formats which could be used for this assignment but you may consider the following structure below for your work:
• Abstract
• Table of Contents
• Aims and Objectives
• Review of relevant literature and theory.
• Methodology and Data (including the definition of variables)
• Results and Discussion
• Conclusions and recommendations
• References
• Appendices (additional relevant material)
Further instructions
Your submission should include an appendix of the printouts of your Stata do-file (if applicable) and your Stata output. Your written report should contain all relevant estimation and hypothesis test results (as if you were writing for a journal article). Marks will be awarded for presentation, and you are encouraged to devise informative means for presenting the results, including tables where appropriate.
You may collaborate in working out how to run the estimations on Stata. However, you are required to write up your report independently, and I will require a separate and independent submission from each person.
Please come and ask if you are experiencing difficulties.

Dear community,
I spend the last days reading many questions and responses as well as several journal articles and research papers on the topic of time series analysis and the individual steps. Unfortunately, the more I read the more confused I became...now I hope that you can help me out.
I am writing my master thesis about FDI determinants in Ethiopia. I have selected FDI per GDP as dependent variable and several independent variables (exchange rate change, inflation rate, labor force participation rate, telephone subscriptions per 100 citizens, a governance index (ranking from 0 to 100), and exports + imports as ratio of GDP). I am also thinking about adding a dummy variable to reflect the effects of the Growth and Transformation Plan in 2010.
The next step is to analyse the data empirically in order to investigate the impact of the explanatory variables on the FDI inflow. Due to data availability I only cover a period of 20 years (1996-2016). I read several papers on this topic but somehow everyone performed/applied different steps/tests/models. Also the order of the test performed varies in the papers.
I am really confused by now with regards to the differences between OLS, ECM, ARDL, and VAR and what is the most appropriate method in my case.
In addition, authors performed (some didn't) different tests for unit root/stationary, for co-integration, for multicollinearity, for autocorrelation, for heteroskedasticity. Also in a different order.
Besides, I am confused about the lag selection process and the meaning/difference of AR(1) and I(1).
Moreover, many authors transformed the variables first with log. I cannot do that as I have to negative observations (inflation rate).
Earlier I also read something about trend and difference stationary and depending on this different unit root test.
Like I said, I am just so confused by now that I don't even know who and where to start.
I am working mainly with SPSS but will perform the unit root tests in Eviews as SPSS do not have this function.
I really hope that you can help me by providing a little guideline on what I need to do and in which order. Thank you so much!

Here are some steps you can follow to perform time series analysis for a period of 20 years:
  1. Collect the data and clean it.
  2. Prepare visualization with respect to time vs. key feature.
  3. Observe the stationarity of the series.
  4. Develop charts to understand its nature.
  5. Build the model – AR, MA, ARMA, and ARIMA.
  6. Evaluate the model using statistical measures such as RMSE, MAPE, etc.

Is it ok to check Plagiarism multiple times using Turnitin or any other software?
Some of my friends said plagiarism checking was allowed only twice. If we check for plagiarism a third time, it will be considered plagiarism and the data will be stored in cloud while plagiarism. Is it true?
How many times I can check my research article for plagiarism using software?
Relevant answer
Answer
There is no specific limit to how many times you can check your research article for plagiarism using software like Turnitin. It is generally considered acceptable to check for plagiarism multiple times during the writing and editing process in order to ensure that the final document is free of plagiarism. However, it is important to keep in mind that the similarity score shown in the plagiarism report does not necessarily indicate plagiarism, as it may include properly cited or common phrases. It is also important to follow proper citation and referencing guidelines to avoid unintentional plagiarism.

Hello Amit Das ,
Bravo! I agree with you completely, which is one, among many reasons, why I have not submitted any articles to printed-media journals. I have found ResearchGate to be a great way to get my ideas in front of the technical public without having to worry about page limits, word count limits, endnote requirements (I prefer footnotes, myself), formatting, etc. I mean, RG allows anyone in the world, who has an Internet connection, to see your documents and download them, if they so desire. You can even find collaborators on RG, if people like what you are writing.
At the same time, I understand the need, if you are an academic, of satisfying your institution's requirements above getting your articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Publish or perish is still the law of the land in many, if not most, institutions, and it is a requirement for continued employment and career advancement.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is rapidly expanding and entered every sector with almost mixed reactions for its utility. Kindly share some views backed up by strong examples.
Relevant answer
Answer
Probably the most straightforward use of AI for researcher would be in the literature review process. In particular, there are any number of programs that will allow you treat a pdf version of an article (or set of articles) as input, and then return a summary based on issues that you include in your query. Then you can ask more specific queries about anything that seems to be particularly interesting.
A different option that is receiving attention in my own field of social science qualitative research is to use programs such as ChatGPT as an analysis tool. At present, the standard approach is to do detailed coding of the data, followed by working with those codes to generate more interpretive themes. In contrast, ChatGPT can be used to summarize the data without manual coding as a first step, which then allows the analyst to develop more detailed queries and more subjective interpretations.

It seems I need statistical background or data that is primary research to be used for journal articles. Where do I find it? Do I conduct a research survey to test hypothesis? How are researchers going about this process? What resources or tools do you have, if any? Thanks.
Relevant answer
Answer
Finding primary research data for journal articles can be a multi-step process. Here are some steps and resources that researchers often use:
  1. Review Existing Databases: Many fields have established databases that house a wealth of research data. Examples include government databases (e.g., U.S. Census Bureau, National Institutes of Health), academic repositories, and discipline-specific data archives. Explore these databases to find relevant data for your research.
  2. Conduct Surveys or Experiments: If the data you need is not readily available, you may consider conducting your primary research through surveys, experiments, or other data collection methods. Determine the appropriate sample size and sampling strategy, design your study, and collect the necessary data to test your hypotheses.
  3. Collaborate with Other Researchers: Networking and collaborating with other researchers in your field can provide access to shared datasets or ongoing research projects where you can contribute and access primary data. Attend conferences, join professional associations, and reach out to colleagues to explore collaboration opportunities.
  4. Seek Funding: Research funding agencies often support research projects and provide grants to collect primary data. Look for funding opportunities in your field and apply for grants that align with your research objectives.
  5. Data Sharing Platforms: There are several online platforms and repositories where researchers can share and access datasets. Examples include Dataverse, Figshare, and Zenodo. These platforms allow researchers to publish and share their data, making it accessible to others.
  6. Institutional Resources: Universities and research institutions often maintain data repositories or provide support services for researchers. Check if your institution has a data repository or a data management team that can help you find or manage research data.
As for resources and tools, there are various statistical software packages available to analyze research data, such as R, Python (with libraries like pandas and NumPy), SPSS, SAS, and Stata. These tools provide a wide range of statistical analyses, data visualization, and data management capabilities to support your research.
Additionally, libraries and academic institutions often provide access to specialized databases, research guides, and statistical consulting services to assist researchers in finding and analyzing data.
Remember to adhere to ethical guidelines and obtain necessary approvals (e.g., Institutional Review Board approval for human subjects research) before collecting data.

PhD students should not be solely judged by the number of journal articles they have produced. While publications are a critical measure of a PhD's productivity and contribution to their field, they are not the only indicator of success or ability.
PhD students should be evaluated on the quality of their work, their critical thinking skills, their ability to solve problems, and their contribution to their discipline in general. These factors can be considered in evaluating their contributions, whether or not these contributions are made in the form of publications.
Additionally, many doctoral students face challenges such as funding, access to data, and time constraints that may limit their ability to produce journal articles. These limitations can result in the prioritization of other modes of scholarship such as conference opportunities, poster presentations, patent applications, data sharing, and policy briefs, which are equally valuable.
Ultimately, the doctoral process and its evaluation should be viewed as a holistic process with an emphasis on professional development, creation of new knowledge, and producing work of high quality across a range of relevant platforms.

May anyone please share material on use of implementation strategy in public health?
How do we assess the feasibility and scalability of proposed intervention?
Kindly please share viewpoints and journal articles on these topic
Relevant answer
Answer
Dear friend Ashish Pundhir
In public health, an implementation strategy refers to a planned approach or set of actions designed to effectively and efficiently implement a specific intervention, program, or policy within a public health context. It involves the systematic and strategic steps taken to ensure the successful adoption and integration of evidence-based practices into real-world settings.
There are various types of implementation strategies used in public health, and they can vary based on the nature of the intervention, target population, and setting. Some common types of implementation strategies include:
1. Training and Education: Providing education, training, and capacity-building activities to individuals or organizations involved in the implementation process.
2. Quality Improvement: Using systematic approaches to improve processes, workflows, and service delivery to enhance the implementation of interventions.
3. Policy and Advocacy: Engaging in policy development, advocacy efforts, and creating supportive environments to facilitate the adoption and implementation of public health interventions.
4. Collaborative Networks and Partnerships: Establishing and fostering partnerships and collaborations among stakeholders to enhance the implementation process and achieve shared goals.
5. Information Technology and Data Systems: Utilizing technology and data systems to support the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of interventions.
6. Community Engagement and Participation: Involving communities and key stakeholders in the implementation process to ensure their needs and perspectives are considered.
Assessing the feasibility and scalability of a proposed intervention involves evaluating its practicality, potential impact, and the capacity to expand or replicate it in different settings or populations. This assessment helps determine if the intervention can be successfully implemented and sustained over time.
To access materials, viewpoints, and journal articles on implementation strategies and the assessment of intervention feasibility and scalability in public health, I recommend exploring the following resources:
1. Implementation Science: This journal focuses on research related to the methods, theories, and practices of implementation in health services research and related disciplines. You can find articles and research studies on various aspects of implementation strategies and assessments.
2. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): The CDC website offers a range of resources, guidelines, and publications related to public health implementation strategies and evaluation.
3. World Health Organization (WHO): The WHO provides guidance, reports, and case studies on the implementation of public health interventions and strategies. Their website is a valuable resource for accessing materials on implementation in a global health context.
4. ResearchGate and Google Scholar: These platforms allow you to search for specific articles, research papers, and viewpoints related to implementation strategies and intervention assessment. You can use keywords such as "implementation strategies in public health" or "feasibility and scalability of interventions" to find relevant literature.
Remember to critically evaluate the sources and consider the credibility and relevance of the information obtained.

I conduct research in the field of molecular oncology and, in addition to the main research article, I have accumulated some data for a summary, literally 4-5 pages (the grant is ending soon, so there is no possibility to conduct a full-scale study). Which, in this case, is it better to choose the type of articles - communication or brief report? Any significant differences?
Your opinion?
Relevant answer
Answer
The essential difference between communication and brief report types of articles is in their purpose and structure. Communications are short articles that are typically used to report on new research findings or to communicate brief updates or announcements to a wider audience. They are often written in a concise and straightforward style, and may include tables, graphs, or other visual aids to help convey information to the reader. On the other hand, brief reports are more structured and formal than communications and typically contain more in-depth information on a specific topic or area of research. They often follow a more traditional research paper format, with a clear introduction, methods section, results section, and discussion or conclusions section. Overall, while both communication and brief report articles are useful for sharing research findings and other important information, they differ in their intended purpose and the level of detail they provide.

Dear Hailu Kendie Addis If you refer to the link I provided in my previous reply then it means you have full access to the papers included in ScienceDirect. This means all journals published by Elsevier.
Access to Scopus means that you can access all the info (citations and other metric info) provided by Scopus. Scopus includes all journals, but the access to the full text is ' limited' to the ones you can access in ScienceDirect (so all papers published by Elsevier and not to those published by others).

My question is: are their other well-known publishers who might publish my article, preferably in the Western world? As the publisher from India showed interest in publishing my article for their text book, I am very keen to know. Could you please also suggest some publishers, if possible?
My article examines how social media (SM) activeness affects the work-life balance of Bangladeshi white collar work force and suggests measures to reduce their negative and reinforce their positive aspects. Primary research has been conducted using an online questionnaire-based survey using judgement sampling. The study recommends several measures to reinforce the positive impacts and reduce the negative ones, and it was published in the SciMedCentral Archives of Palliative Care journal.
Citation: Mujeri, N. (2021). Social Media Activeness and Work-Life Balance in the Bangladesh Context: A Descriptive Study. Archives of Palliative Care.
Attached: journal article for your viewing.
Would it be possible to publish this journal article as a book? Would it impact the willingness of an editor to publish my work as a book? What do you think?
It would be great to hear your experience about publishing articles from your previously published journal articles and then making it into a book.
Thank you!

Answer
It seems that different journals will have different requirements on these issues. Some are happy to adapt your existing work (because of the CC licensing) and some are not. Some might think your work is too long and might need to be shortened for the purpose of articles in that journal. It seems to vary a lot.

In my reading of the literature, I found the repeating of the same information concerning both the theories of 1st Language and 2nd Language Acquisition . I am a bit confused about the inclusion of these theories in both L1A and L2A . I need more clarification by providing me with references from books or Journal Articles. I am looking forward to hearing from this online Community of Researchers and Scholars.

No, the theories of First Language Acquisition are not the same as those of Second Language Acquisition. While there are some similarities between the two processes, such as the importance of exposure to language input and the role of cognitive processing, the differences in context and learner characteristics mean that the theories of L1A and L2A are not the same.

Bibliometric measures, such as Impact Factor, are far less important than the scope of the journal in question. Look at recent articles, read the scope notes of the subjects covered and from that analysis create a short list of possible journals. Only then have a look at Impact Factors and MAYBE decide on the top one.....

What, in your opinion, is a reliable, objective, professional and thus really contributing to the effective development of science reviewing of scientific papers, diploma theses, dissertations containing the results of scientific research, text proposals sent to the editorial office for publication as scientific publications, including scientific articles, scientific monographs, etc.?
The reviewing of scientific articles by scientists specialised in a particular field of knowledge, conducted in the editorial process, is essential for maintaining a high level of scientific publications and for the development of scientific journals. However, there are times when it can be problematic and cumbersome for scientists who work in narrow, specific specialisations, fields, scientific disciplines.
On the one hand, it is widely accepted that the evaluation of a scientific paper during the peer review process should take into account and usually does take into account at least a dozen factors concerning both substantive issues, research, reference to the literature, timeliness of research results, correctness of inference, editorial quality, effects on the development of science, etc. The assessment of a scientific work during peer review should be carried out objectively, independently, fairly, according to a high level of assessment standards. Therefore, editorial activity, proofreading, editorial correction, scientific reviews, etc. should be carried out according to the applicable standards in order to maintain a certain level of scientific quality of published scientific work.
On the other hand, on the discussion forum of this Research Gate portal, many questions arise regarding the issue of objectivity and fairness in reviewing scientific papers. Yes, the processes of reviewing scientific texts proposed for publication is a serious issue. The issue of the level of objectivity and independence of reviewing scientific papers can influence the direction of science in narrow specialisations and scientific disciplines. The significant variation in the standards of reviewing processes, editorial processes, etc. between different editors of journals and other types of scientific publications is an important factor in considering the issue of the level of objectivity and the problems that arise in this regard. In order for the editorial and reviewing process to be fully objective and independent, among other things, institutional affiliation should not influence the editors' decision to publish a scientific paper and the assessment in the review of the text, manuscript by the reviewers. Unfortunately, however, it sometimes happens that institutional affiliation is taken into account in such situations.
An important element of maintaining a certain level of objectivity in the reviewing process of scientific papers is the application of the model of more than one review in the editorial boards of scientific journals and editorial boards of book publications and monographs, i.e. the standard of min. Two reviews written independently by other researchers and scientists operating in a given discipline of knowledge and/or who are recognised experts in a given issue. Consequently, the multi-review model is important as it should contribute to the improvement of scientific texts. The double (two reviews) review process for scientific papers raises the issue of the objectivity of the review process and is an important element of the editorial process. In some editorial boards of scientific journals and editorial boards of book publications and monographs, the model of 3 reviews is also applied, in which the third review plays an auxiliary and sometimes a decisive role in relation to the previous two reviews written, in which significantly different assessments appeared, different points of view on the given issue described in the reviewed scientific work.
In addition, there are other factors that are important for researchers and scientists, such as the length of the review process of submitted text proposals for publication and the period after which they receive a response from the editorial office. Sometimes the review and editorial processes take a long time. This is determined by various factors. During the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic, organising conferences in a traditional, desktop format and post-referral publication processes were difficult. An important issue is the communication standards in place in a given scientific publication editorial board. These standards can also vary widely, as some editorial offices write back with an e-mail response regarding the results of an evaluation, a review conducted, an editorial correction or feedback confirming receipt of a text, etc., within a period of several days or so after the text has been sent to the editorial office publishing a particular scientific text. However, there are also editors who write back with a response much later. For scientists and researchers, waiting a long time for a reply can be problematic in a situation where they are continuing their research in a particular field of knowledge, they are receiving new, new research results and the field or scientific discipline in which they are conducting research is developing rapidly.
The issues of the length of the review process, the process of editing a manuscript proposal submitted for publication, the issue of communication between the editorial office and the manuscript author may also be related to the acceptance by authors of journals that are not highly ranked in terms of recognition, reputation, Impact Factor, etc. If journals with a high Impact Factor are difficult to access due to the long review process and high publication costs, some researchers and scientists who want to publish their research results quickly publish in journals without Impact Factor. In addition, some journals without Impact Factor have other positive features, such as the inclusion of published articles in many scientific publication indexing databases and all this under the open access formula without any payment.
In the context of the issue at hand, the editorial requirements set by the editors of scientific journals for the preparation of articles and other texts for publication are also relevant. On the one hand, the standards of reviewing and editorial requirements sometimes vary widely between journals. On the other hand, meeting all editorial requirements in full may limit the issue of innovation in terms of the research conducted and its description and presentation in scientific publications. This is a complex issue that affects many scientific fields, the research conducted and the description of its results in specific types of scientific publications written according to the editorial standards of specific editors and scientific publishers.
Another issue of discussion in the context of the reviewing process of scientific texts is the progressive digitisation of documents. This process should encourage remote communication via e.g. email, and should assist in the editorial process concerning preparatory work prior to the publication of scientific texts. The issue of the progressive digitisation of documents and their increasingly automated digital processing is linked to the use of new ICT information technologies and Industry 4.0, including artificial intelligence, e.g. technology similar to ChatGPT to improve computerised applications and Internet-connected anti-plagiarism platforms used to verify texts during the process of reviewing scientific texts. I wrote about this issue in one of the previously formulated questions on my discussion forum of this Research Gate portal.
Counting on your opinions, on getting to know your personal opinion, on an honest approach to the discussion of scientific issues and not the ready-made answers generated in ChatGPT, I deliberately used the phrase "in your opinion" in the question.
In view of the above, I address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:
What, in your opinion, consists in a reliable, objective, professional and thus really contributing to the effective development of science reviewing of scientific works, theses, dissertations containing the results of scientific research, text proposals sent to the editorial office for publication as scientific publications, including scientific articles, scientific monographs, etc.?
In your opinion, what is a reliable, objective, professional review of scientific papers, theses, etc.?
What do you think about this topic?
What is your opinion on this subject?
Please respond,
I invite you all to discuss,
Thank you very much,
Best wishes,

You have raised some very big and important issues! This is a very hard question! You have mentioned some excellent points to consider.
To unify the things you say and the points mentioned by Natha Mohamed , I have simply one word... honesty. I think that is true to answer a lot of the points you mentioned. But it is so hard to find, as you know and I am sure you will have seen lots of cases when it was not there and this makes the review a big problem.
It starts with the potential reviewer showing honesty at the start and only accepting to review if the topic is relevant to their area of expertise. Often it is not.

My masters dissertation was a thematic analysis which split neatly into two major themes. I have permission from the journal I'm publishing with to publish in two seperate articles. Whilst large sections of the dissertation seperate neatly into two seperate articles, some segments of the introduction, literature review, methedology and discussion don't.
I'd really appreciate any examples of thematic analysis dissertations which were split into two journal articles as examples. Or alternately advice on spreading the remaining content out over two articles (or if I should alternately condense the material remaining).
Many thanks in advance!
Relevant answer
Answer
To separate a Masters Dissertation into two journal articles, you could follow these steps:
  1. Identify the two main research questions or themes.
  2. Identify the key findings/results that are relevant to each question or theme.
  3. Determine the scope of each article and revise research questions/themes if necessary.
  4. Reorganize and rewrite relevant sections to fit the journal article format.
  5. Edit and revise for clarity, structure, and accuracy.
  6. Follow a journal of interest submission guidelines and be prepared to revise and resubmit based on feedback from editors and reviewers. It is important to tailor the articles to the target journal's requirements.

The question is too broad unless you are trying to write a 1000+ page book.
It depends on the specific herbicide and mode of action: glyphosate, paraquat, etc.. In cases like 2,4-D it might be a plant growth regulator at one dose and an herbicide at another. There are also different salts of the herbicide and each compound has slightly different physical and chemical properties.
It depends on the formulation: The "inert" ingredients are there for a reason.
It depends on how it was applied. This can be wet versus dry, foliar versus soil. It is also a function of application rate and particle size that influence dispersion in the environment and adherence to the target surface. Were adjuvants added to the spray tank?
What plant species is the target and what are the non-target species?
Was the application outdoors or in a protected environment (screenhouse, greenhouse, growth chamber)? Even a semi-protected environment like understory crops will influence the environmental fate of the pesticide.
It may seem like some of these factors do not matter. Yet temperature influences the rate of chemical reactions and water (humidity, dew, rain) and sunlight are two of the major forces in pesticide degradation. Anything that alters exposure or increases penetration rates through the plant cuticle will influence pesticide (herbicide) efficacy.

The short answer to your question, I think, is no. Many people might have this confusion also and it depends a lot on your organisation/employer. Most seem to regard journal articles as more prestigious as it conveys information quicker and are peer-reviewed (in reputable journals), as Syed Walli Husnain says.
The quality is also an important consideration, as mentioned by Genick Bar-Meir .
Interestingly, my employer seems to do the opposite to a lot of others and thinks that book chapters is worth more than journal articles. There are very few organisations with this view.

Hello Researchers,
I am considering publishing a Case Study report on Cross-cultural and Comparative Analysis of Leadership Styles on Australia and Bangladesh in an international open-access journal for international business. I had received a high distinction for this report in my MCom program at an Australian university. I would like to ask you all about the possible format of the report for publication, I would like to ask for your recommendation on the matter.
I wrote the report focusing on Comparative and cross-cultural leadership styles between Bangladesh and Australia. The two cultural models I chose were Hoffsteid and Globe study.
Since the report was written in the Case Study format and most international journals use the traditional journal article format, do you think it would be better to reformat the report into a traditional journal article format (Intro, Lit. Review, Rationale, Research Methods, Main Body, Findings, Conclusion, and Recommendations)?
Or do you think there is scope for publishing it in a Case Study format? I know Case Study articles are popular in Medical journals, but not sure if there are any Case Study international journals in the fields of international business and management.
Please let me know your opinion at your earliest convenience.
Warmest Regards,
Neaz
Relevant answer
Answer
From my personal experience in conducting research and publication, I can say that you can publish the case study in an appropriate journal. First, search on google or publishers like Springer, and Elsevier, for the relevant journals. If your targeted journal publishes a case study then it is possible to publish the report, however, it should be as per the format of the journals. If you want to publish a research paper on your case study, then it would be better if you restructure of your paper.
Almost all of the journals have a similar structure but are different in some contexts like word limit for abstract, reference style, and so on.
You are welcome to ask for any further clarification.
Thanking you

Answer
Hello Andrew Kim
I mean, I would think that they won't change... because doubling time is a part of their nature is it not?
Cell doubling time does not change. However, it may be altered depending on the environmental factors. For instance, mycoplasma contamination is very common in cell culture. Mycoplasma contaminated cells grow very slowly. Another factor is nutrition. Serum contains growth factors and other important nutrients that allow cells to proliferate. If serum is not provided in required quantity, the cells will not show optimum growth. Also, seeding density affects doubling time.
Other environmental stress inducing factors which include incubator temperature fluctuations, insufficient or inappropriate cell culture substrate as well as inappropriate environmental gas mixture can have an effect on the doubling time.
Best.

As an old generation academic, I believe that book publications can elaborate more scholarly thoughts and provide more examples. However, due to the limited space for international journal articles (word count: about 4000-6000 English words) and efficient circulation of international journal papers, the details are omitted. Hello
I just recently submitted to a reputable journal in my field, and after almost 2 weeks of the submission the editor offered a transfer to an oppen acces journal without sending it to reviewers
Firstly I accepted the transferred decision by mistake but after that I withdraw the manuscript from the system.
Now I chose to submit the manuscript to another journal under the same academic publishing company but not recommended by the first journal and my question is should I mention the transferred decision made by the first journal in the cover letter or not ?
