The recent advancements in smart devices, mobile networks, and computing technologies are ushering us into a new era of Convergence ICT. To enable these smart devices to provide intelligent services, machine learning techniques are essential for training powerful predictive models. A common approach involves collecting distributed user data to a central cloud for deep learning model training. However, transferring massive amounts of data to the cloud center can cause significant transmission pressure on the backbone network. Additionally, increasing concerns about data privacy and the enforcement of privacy protection laws make it impractical to transmit data from end devices to the cloud.
Despite these advancements, existing AI techniques face several limitations that require novel solutions to better comprehend and improve their potential for decision-making in various real-world applications. The following is a detailed discussion of this issue, taking into account various aspects of the application of ICT and AI in business communication management.
1. information and communication technologies (ICT) in business communication management
ICT is a broad term that encompasses all technologies for sending, receiving, processing and storing information, such as the Internet, computer networks, software, as well as mobile devices. In business communication management, ICT plays a key role by providing:
(a) Fast flow of information: ICT technologies such as email, communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack), video conferencing (Zoom, Google Meet) enable the rapid and efficient flow of information between employees, departments and divisions of a company, regardless of their location.
(b) Document management: Document management systems (DMS), cloud computing (e.g. Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive), allow you to store, share and collaborate on documents in real time. This significantly reduces the time needed to process materials and enables seamless collaboration.
c) Virtual meetings and collaboration: video conferencing, collaborative platforms and document sharing software enable remote meetings and team collaboration across global enterprises.
(d) Communication process automation: Customer relationship management (CRM) software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other communication automation tools enable automatic generation of messages, reminders or responses to inquiries, allowing companies to manage customer relationships faster and more efficiently.
2 Artificial intelligence in business communication management
Artificial intelligence (AI) brings a new level of sophistication to business communication management, automating many tasks, analyzing communication data, personalizing interactions and providing smarter decision-making solutions. The key areas where AI is impacting business communications are discussed below:
a). Automation and chatbots
Chatbots and AI-powered virtual assistants are becoming increasingly popular in customer service and internal communications.
- Chatbots: Operating on websites, social media platforms or mobile apps, these tools can automatically respond to simple customer inquiries, solve problems and guide customers through the buying process. AI in business communications not only automates processes, but also helps make better decisions.

3 Benefits of applying ICT and AI to business communication management
The application of ICT and AI in business communications brings numerous benefits that can significantly affect the efficiency of a company's operations:
(a) Increased efficiency: By automating many communication processes, companies can focus on more strategic tasks instead of spending time on routine activities.

4 Challenges of ICT and AI in business communications
Despite its many benefits, the introduction of ICT and AI in business communications management also brings challenges:
(a) Data security: Storing and processing large amounts of data, including personal data, raises the risk of privacy breaches and cyber attacks. Companies must use appropriate security measures, such as data encryption and access control systems.
(b) Algorithmic bias: AI, especially in data analysis, can inherit biases contained in training data, which can lead to biased results. Therefore, continuous monitoring and validation of algorithms is necessary.
(c) Ethical issues: The automation of communications, especially in interactions with customers, raises questions about ethics, including issues of transparency, accountability and fairness in the treatment of all customer groups.
In view of the above, ICT technologies and artificial intelligence are transforming the management of business communications, offering new opportunities for automation, personalization and data analysis. However, their effective use requires not only investment in modern technologies, but also consideration of security, ethics and appropriate data management.
The key issues of opportunities and threats to the development of artificial intelligence technologies are described in my article below:

Social Networks In Higher Education
The integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education imposes new demands on educators, and in general on all sectors of society, which requires a process of adaptation and transformation, which is reflected in new uses. cultures that lead to innovation. Social networks are tools that allow us to maintain constant communication, providing instant access to information regardless of distance. This study uses the Descriptive method in a participatory action research in the classroom with 91 students during two academic semesters, each semester divided into two groups generating the strategy of sharing knowledge in a playful way of a professional academic program in an official Colombian university. The result suggests that social media should be incorporated into higher education as an institutional policy, not just as an episodic event.

The way communication in Social Networks is structured has some specific advantages in contrast to more traditional means of communication as interpersonal, chatting, or even epistolary. Most of the messages have certain metadata, like a timestamp, interface, ip address, device mac address, user agent, coordinates, and often such as the actual device parameters as battery level, signal strength or carrier. All of that allows to enrich the experience. Measurement process doesn't seem way too invasive to end users at the first glance, but for sure may pose as a highly accurate input into improvement plans, increasing the effectiveness of organization in e.g., building expertise, gathering knowledge or any other perimeter. Due to proliferation of federated social networks with open source code I see it may be important in the future to design such nodes or small servers, that will provide to a specific group of students or researchers a customized experience aimed at developing their skills and collaboration. But for that a root control of the backend and robust analytics must also be applied to the environment, as well as roles defined for the users.

Hey Jaber,
I think you are comparing a statistical approach (PLS) to a specific software programme (AMOS) so I don't have an answer to which is 'best'. AMOS is used for standard covariance based latent variable modelling, and as such is hugely flexible and powerful. You get all the benefits of maximum likelihood estimation and model fit statistics. The downside is that you get maximum likelihood estimation and model fit statistics.
Looking at your proposed model I suspect that PLS may be an easier way to specify the 'causal' indicators, but I also suspect that reviewers would ask some tricky questions about why you didn't use a model model testing approach such as latent variable modelling, or SEM, or whatever you want to call it.
This is an intersting articale that applies both methods , and there is also a brilliant episode of the Quantitude podcast on PLS. The 'brilliant' was unnecessary as all episode of Quantitude are brilliant.

In order to improve the profitability of business processes, improve marketing communications, offer products and services remotely to customers, etc., such Industry 4.0 technologies as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, Big Data Analytics, Data Science, Blockchain, robotics, multi-criteria simulation models, digital twins, but also machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence are increasingly being used. In fact, a hybrid system may be a more sustainable future for the finance industry. Thus, the direction of higher education may change towards infusion of data science (FinTech) applications where machines (AIs) and humans coexist, i.e. personal contact and human discretion will be imperative at certain stages of investing.
In this sense, dear Dariusz Prokopowicz , tech-know-logical speed cannot guarantee quality investments, i.e. the creative destruction of the finance industry depends on human macro-prudence, in terms of choosing right investment directions, where the right steps decide and not just the speed of transactions.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the future of humanity. It is already the key driver of emerging technologies and will continue to be the technological innovator in the envisioned future. Industry experts anticipate AI advances to produce dramatic changes in the service industry by 2025; while others expect AI to overtake humans in the near future (PEW, 2014; Cuthbertson, 2020). Research on AI is prevailing all fields (Merhi & Harfouche, 2023) and is dominating science, agriculture, healthcare, military, financial and many other domains worldwide (Gartner Inc., 2021; Tutun et al., 2023). Thus, AI has high potentials to benefit humanity and help resolving many of the world's challenges from poverty to environmental sustainability.
Today, there is increasing awareness and expectation that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help address these grand challenges that include societal inequalities and environmental sustainability in developing and developed countries (Dennehy et al., 2021; Dwivedi et al., 2022; Harfouche et al., 2022; Tarhini et al., 2022). These grand challenges can be categorized as (i) socio- technical, (ii) infrastructural, (iii) societal ecological, (iv) legal and ethical, and (v) emotional (Becker et al., 2015). Achieving the benefits of AI in addressing these challenges motivated researchers worldwide. However, these benefits can only be achieved if AI is used wisely, in a sustainable, ethical, and responsible way through the development of ethics and governance principles to guide the development and deployment of ethical and responsible AI. Yet, there is a concern that the response from the Information Systems (IS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) research communities has been 'dismal and at best marginal' in this regard (Tan & Neilson, 2021). In fact, the potential value from artificial intelligence is expected to be enormous. But the question remains: what are the costs of AI when not done responsibly?
Sustainable, reliable, effective, and human-centered AI systems requires responsible AI principles and perspectives not only from technological but also ethical, legal, socio-economic, and socio-political domains. Responsible AI is the practice of developing and deploying AI systems with good intentions in a responsible manner, helping to empower employees, business, and society. Ethics and governance of AI could be influenced by different cultural context. However, these cultural differences provide a diversity of perspectives, and opportunities to learn from one another. Sharing insights, expertise and different perspectives on ethical and responsible AI for sustainable development is and will continue to be an important concern for the ICTO community.
The 7th conference for Information & communication technologies for organization & society (ICTO2023) aims to bring together multidisciplinary contributions from different domains and cultures around IS and AI to advance knowledge to achieve a better and more sustainable future for organizations & societies. This year, ICTO2023 aims at finding answers to question like: What do we want the future of work to look like? How do we want AI to change our lives? In such a situation, innovative startups emerge and are financed through such external sources of funding as investment funds, business angels, securities issuance, crowdfunding and others. Crowdfunding will develop intensively in the future as an alternative to classic forms of external financing for business ventures. It is an alternative to the financial service offerings of financial sector institutions, particularly in the segment of financing innovative start-ups. Commercial banks operating within the framework of classic deposit and credit banking often avoid lending to innovative start-ups due to difficulties in assessing credit risk. In such a situation, crowdfunding can be a good solution to the problems of finding external funding. On the other hand, cryptocurrencies, which operate outside institutionalised and centralised financial systems, are growing in importance. Perhaps in the future, cryptocurrencies will displace traditional currency from online financial transactions between fintechs, financial institutions, innovative start-ups, online technology companies running social media portals and their customers, and between users of these online portals. In addition to this, it is becoming essential to improve the security of online financial transactions and settlements carried out through online mobile banking. In this connection, blockchain technology is developing as an application for securing online transactions and data transfer. An increasing number of large companies are announcing the creation of their own cryptocurrency. Some investment banks such as JP Morgan have announced the creation of their own cryptocurrency for settlements with key counterparties. The development and implementation of ICT information technologies, advanced data processing technologies Industry 4.0 and Internet technologies into the business activities of companies and enterprises facilitates the execution of financial operations on the Internet and ensures a high level of security of Internet data transfer. The development of technological innovations, ICT information technologies, advanced information processing technologies co-creating the current technological revolution Industry 4.0, financing through crowdfunding, securing online transactions with blockchain technology, the increase in the use of cryptocurrencies in these settlements, etc. are likely to be important determinants of the development of innovative, technological start-ups operating on the Internet and factors in the development of the knowledge economy in the years to come. Consequently, the development of open innovation is correlated with the issue of innovation and entrepreneurship development in the economy. On the other hand, in macroeconomic terms, the development of open innovation can be an important determinant of economic development in developing countries and in developed knowledge-based economies. In view of the above, research shows that the spread of open innovation and open knowledge bases is an important issue for building a sustainable economy in a technologically developed and developing country. A number of predictive studies show that cryptocurrencies will grow in importance in the future in financing various transactions and settlements carried out electronically, through the Internet, on social media, in investment banking, etc. Currently, many technology startups base their growth and competitive advantage on technological, product, service, marketing or other innovations. However, in order for the financing of new business ventures, innovative startups to develop using cryptocurrencies it is necessary to increase the scale of systemic formalisation and institutionalisation of transactions carried out using cryptocurrencies, to build formalised cryptocurrency markets and to increase the security of transactions carried out using cryptocurrencies in the future.

One significant direction of industry 4.0 is the mirroring of machines an processes in the digital world, also known as digital twins. There are many steps required in implementing this such as: 1. accurate sensors on the IIOT machines to provide input data for the digital twin, 2. I have an issue with my PhD Thesis and I hope SOMEONE can help me in clarifying or suggesting a solution to this question.
My research problem statement revolves around the low level of ICT integration in the classroom.
The research aims to measure teachers' beliefs and attitudes toward the integration of ICT IN TEACHING.
To conduct this research I suggested using the decomposed theory of planned behaviour (DTPB) model. This model measures the effect of 3 main constructs in predicting the intention of teachers toward the integration of ICT and tendencies for actual integration. below is the original model of DTPB.
In my research, I seek to investigate the actual integration of ICT, not the intention to integrate ICT.
MY QUESTION IS:
Why don't I remove the (intention to integrate ICT) from the proposed model as long as I'm only interested in measuring the actual integration of ICT within the class?

Safety Risk Assessment demands periodical monitoring and evaluation to find out the challenges and bottlenecks to overcome the problems in the process.
The Aviation department seeks the proper Safety Risk Assessment to regulate the function, administration and customer satisfaction etc.
GPS or GIS could be the important tools to capture the events in the Aerodrome environment.

With an increasing number of countries implementing digital health and digital public health tools, questions arise about whether these tools are effective and how to implement them best nationally. The lack of a validated and standard list of indicators complicates the comparison of digital health maturity between countries. We need guidance for governments in setting up strategies for the effective implementation and adoption of digital public health tools in routine care and the prevention of diseases.
To address this challenge, we want to invite researchers and practitioners from medicine, public health, economics, computer science, law, cultural studies, sociology, or other comparable disciplines. Participants should know about the development, implementation and evaluation of digital public health systems to take part in a Delphi study to choose the leading quality indicators to assess the maturity of national digital public health systems from four perspectives:
1. The information-telecommunication-technology requirements
2. The political support and legal regulation for the implementation and use of health technologies and the generated data
3. The application of concrete digital health tools to the national health system
4. The collective social willingness to use these tools

ICTs can impact climate change in three main ways:

• reducing emissions and achieving energy efficiency in other sectors by, for example, eliminating the need for travel and replacing physical objects with electronic ones (reducing material intensity);

Hello everyone,
I recently read an article "Pros and cons of using ICT in teaching ESL reading and writing" which is related to my current research. I would like to discuss with you my understanding and questions regarding this area as below:
1. I like the way that the authors finalized the questions with several steps such as first draft, content and face validity, second draft and so on.
2. Would you please share with me how did you decide samples if you are the author?
3. I realized the majority participants are over 30 years old. Some of them are even more than 50. I am thinking if the age will be a factor impacting the result.
It will be much appreciated that you could give me some suggestions or insights in this area.

As an ESL Practitioner, I believe that technology plays an important role in language learning. We are in the era where digital softwares and applications are just a click away from both teachers and students. However, the question is are you teaching reading and writing with the machine or technology or are you using technology as a tool or aid for teaching? Thus it is critical for teachers to choose appropriate "mindtools" to aid the students in ESL learning. Moreover, having a group of participants with different age range is quite interesting. It would be great if you could do a comparative study to probe the difference if any.

I am working on a project regarding the impact of ICT investment on economic growth of the MENA region from 2007 to 2017. we will use econometric model and we wil set the ICT development index as a proxy to measure the ICT. I found data about ranks of IDI in 2007,2008,2010,2011,2012,2013,2015,2016,2017, but I can't find in 2009 and 2014, so can someone help me where can I find these two years?
