What are the applications of machine learning, deep learning and/or artificial intelligence technologies to securities market analysis, including stock market analysis, bonds, derivatives?
ICT information technologies have already been implemented in banking and large companies operating in non-financial sectors of the economy since the beginning of the third technological revolution. Subsequently, the Internet was used to develop online and mobile banking. Perhaps in the future, virtual banking will be developed on the basis of the increasing scale of application of technologies typical of the current fourth technological revolution and the growing scale of implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies to businesses operating in both the financial and non-financial sectors of the economy. In recent years, various technologies for advanced, multi-criteria data processing have increasingly been applied to business entities in order to improve organisational management processes, risk management, customer and contractor relationship management, management of supply logistics systems, procurement, production, etc., and to improve the profitability of business processes. In order to improve the profitability of business processes, improve marketing communications, offer products and services remotely to customers, etc., such Industry 4.0 technologies as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, Big Data Analytics, Data Science, Blockchain, robotics, multi-criteria simulation models, digital twins, but also machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence are increasingly being used. In the field of improving the processes of equity investment management, the processes of carrying out economic and financial analyses, fundamental analyses concerning the valuation of specific categories of investment assets, including securities, i.e. improving the processes carried out in investment banking, ICT information technologies and Industry 4.0 have also been used for many years now. In this connection, there are also emerging opportunities to apply machine learning, deep learning and/or artificial intelligence technologies to the analysis of the securities market, including the analysis of the stock market, bonds, derivatives, etc., i.e. key aspects of business analytics carried out in investment banking. Improving such analytics through the use of the aforementioned technologies should, in addition to the issue of optimising investment returns, also take into account important aspects of the financial security of capital markets transactions, including issues of credit risk management, market risk management, systemic risk management, etc.
In view of the above, I would like to address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:
What are the applications of machine learning, deep learning and/or artificial intelligence technologies for securities market analysis, including equity, bond, derivatives market analysis?

  1. Financial investors are maneuvering computer systems to mechanize their stock trading processes, and
  2. The financial markets have restructured themselves, so virtually all markets right now are limited to order books.
The majority of financial transactions at the present time have become electronic and the total period it takes to execute a stock trade has been significantly reduced to nanoseconds.
The academic jury is still out on the market volatility (risk) consequences of AI trading in the stock market.
In fact, a hybrid system may be a more sustainable future for the finance industry. Thus, the direction of higher education may change towards infusion of data science (FinTech) applications where machines (AIs) and humans coexist, i.e. personal contact and human discretion will be imperative at certain stages of investing.
In this sense, dear Dariusz Prokopowicz , tech-know-logical speed cannot guarantee quality investments, i.e. the creative destruction of the finance industry depends on human macro-prudence, in terms of choosing right investment directions, where the right steps decide and not just the speed of transactions.

Threads can replace Twitter?
Relevant answer
Answer
It is important to understand Twitter's users and its advertising base to answer this question. For an advertiser focused on Business-to-Business (B2B) or Business-to-Government (B2G), especially those focused in the tech industry, Twitter provided the marketing personas that we sought. Personas are the user type profiles sought, i.e., C-Level, Business decision maker, technical decision maker, and business influencer. and, Facebook and Instagram started as a great place to appeal to Business-to-Consumer (B2C) personas.
For Threads to capture Twitter's users and B2B/B2G personas, it must deliver a better experience and provide advertisers the confidence to jump to that platform to be successful. Threads' first steps have not been successful in doing so.

These days VAS are playing important roles in mobile networks, so without their security nobody can rely on them. In these instances cryptography plays an important role in securing these issues. I want to know the best way to apply cryptography VAS. Also any references would be appreciated.
Relevant answer
Answer
There are various ways in which cryptography can be applied to value-added services in mobile networks. One way is to use encryption to secure the communication between the mobile device and the service provider. This can be done by using algorithms such as AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) or RSA (Rivest–Shamir–Adleman).
Another way is to use digital signatures to authenticate users and transactions. Digital signatures use a combination of public and private keys to prove the authenticity of a message or transaction. This can be particularly important for financial transactions or other sensitive transactions.
Finally, it's important to use secure protocols such as TLS (Transport Layer Security) or HTTPS (HTTP Secure) to ensure that all communication between the mobile device and the service provider is encrypted and secure. These protocols can help to prevent eavesdropping and other types of attacks that can compromise the security of value-added services in mobile networks.

Ethical & Responsible Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies
Artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the future of humanity. It is already the key driver of emerging technologies and will continue to be the technological innovator in the envisioned future. Industry experts anticipate AI advances to produce dramatic changes in the service industry by 2025; while others expect AI to overtake humans in the near future (PEW, 2014; Cuthbertson, 2020). Research on AI is prevailing all fields (Merhi & Harfouche, 2023) and is dominating science, agriculture, healthcare, military, financial and many other domains worldwide (Gartner Inc., 2021; Tutun et al., 2023). Thus, AI has high potentials to benefit humanity and help resolving many of the world's challenges from poverty to environmental sustainability.
Today, there is increasing awareness and expectation that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help address these grand challenges that include societal inequalities and environmental sustainability in developing and developed countries (Dennehy et al., 2021; Dwivedi et al., 2022; Harfouche et al., 2022; Tarhini et al., 2022). These grand challenges can be categorized as (i) socio- technical, (ii) infrastructural, (iii) societal ecological, (iv) legal and ethical, and (v) emotional (Becker et al., 2015). Achieving the benefits of AI in addressing these challenges motivated researchers worldwide. However, these benefits can only be achieved if AI is used wisely, in a sustainable, ethical, and responsible way through the development of ethics and governance principles to guide the development and deployment of ethical and responsible AI. Yet, there is a concern that the response from the Information Systems (IS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) research communities has been 'dismal and at best marginal' in this regard (Tan & Neilson, 2021). In fact, the potential value from artificial intelligence is expected to be enormous. But the question remains: what are the costs of AI when not done responsibly?
Sustainable, reliable, effective, and human-centered AI systems requires responsible AI principles and perspectives not only from technological but also ethical, legal, socio-economic, and socio-political domains. Responsible AI is the practice of developing and deploying AI systems with good intentions in a responsible manner, helping to empower employees, business, and society. Ethics and governance of AI could be influenced by different cultural context. However, these cultural differences provide a diversity of perspectives, and opportunities to learn from one another. Sharing insights, expertise and different perspectives on ethical and responsible AI for sustainable development is and will continue to be an important concern for the ICTO community.
The 7th conference for Information & communication technologies for organization & society (ICTO2023) aims to bring together multidisciplinary contributions from different domains and cultures around IS and AI to advance knowledge to achieve a better and more sustainable future for organizations & societies. This year, ICTO2023 aims at finding answers to question like: What do we want the future of work to look like? How do we want AI to change our lives? What does it really mean to be doing AI "responsibly"? Can we do Responsible AI without worrying about the social consequences? How the principles of responsible AI could be applied more broadly toward achieving sustainable development goals?
We invite scholars, practitioners, and early career researchers to present their research at ICTO2023 to contribute to the Ethical and Responsible AI research that leads to better and sustainable societies. Theoretical and empirical papers employing quantitative, qualitative, and/or design science are welcomed.

How can cryptocurrency trading be formalised, institutionalised and made more secure?
How to build formalised and high-security transaction institutionalised cryptocurrency trading markets?
In recent years, many technology startups have based their growth and competitive advantage on business, technological, product, service, marketing or other innovations. Banks are reluctant to provide investment loans to emerging startups basing their growth on innovative technologies. In such a situation, innovative startups emerge and are financed through such external sources of funding as investment funds, business angels, securities issuance, crowdfunding and others. Crowdfunding will develop intensively in the future as an alternative to classic forms of external financing for business ventures. It is an alternative to the financial service offerings of financial sector institutions, particularly in the segment of financing innovative start-ups. Commercial banks operating within the framework of classic deposit and credit banking often avoid lending to innovative start-ups due to difficulties in assessing credit risk. In such a situation, crowdfunding can be a good solution to the problems of finding external funding. On the other hand, cryptocurrencies, which operate outside institutionalised and centralised financial systems, are growing in importance. Perhaps in the future, cryptocurrencies will displace traditional currency from online financial transactions between fintechs, financial institutions, innovative start-ups, online technology companies running social media portals and their customers, and between users of these online portals. In addition to this, it is becoming essential to improve the security of online financial transactions and settlements carried out through online mobile banking. In this connection, blockchain technology is developing as an application for securing online transactions and data transfer. An increasing number of large companies are announcing the creation of their own cryptocurrency. Some investment banks such as JP Morgan have announced the creation of their own cryptocurrency for settlements with key counterparties. The development and implementation of ICT information technologies, advanced data processing technologies Industry 4.0 and Internet technologies into the business activities of companies and enterprises facilitates the execution of financial operations on the Internet and ensures a high level of security of Internet data transfer. The development of technological innovations, ICT information technologies, advanced information processing technologies co-creating the current technological revolution Industry 4.0, financing through crowdfunding, securing online transactions with blockchain technology, the increase in the use of cryptocurrencies in these settlements, etc. are likely to be important determinants of the development of innovative, technological start-ups operating on the Internet and factors in the development of the knowledge economy in the years to come. Consequently, the development of open innovation is correlated with the issue of innovation and entrepreneurship development in the economy. A significant proportion of innovative startups develop their business model based on open innovation. On the other hand, in macroeconomic terms, the development of open innovation can be an important determinant of economic development in developing countries and in developed knowledge-based economies. In view of the above, research shows that the spread of open innovation and open knowledge bases is an important issue for building a sustainable economy in a technologically developed and developing country. A number of predictive studies show that cryptocurrencies will grow in importance in the future in financing various transactions and settlements carried out electronically, through the Internet, on social media, in investment banking, etc. Currently, many technology startups base their growth and competitive advantage on technological, product, service, marketing or other innovations. However, in order for the financing of new business ventures, innovative startups to develop using cryptocurrencies it is necessary to increase the scale of systemic formalisation and institutionalisation of transactions carried out using cryptocurrencies, to build formalised cryptocurrency markets and to increase the security of transactions carried out using cryptocurrencies in the future.
In view of the above, I address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:
Can the planned taxation of cryptocurrency transactions be a first step for increasing the scale of systemic formalisation and institutionalisation of cryptocurrency transactions, building formalised cryptocurrency markets and increasing the future security of cryptocurrency transactions?
How to build formalised and highly secure transaction institutionalised cryptocurrency trading markets?
How can cryptocurrency transactions be formalised, institutionalised and made more secure?

Dariusz Prokopowicz - Nice topic. Information Communication Technologies ... ICT. The term has been around long enough, however, often overlooked is the wide-ranging level of ICT infrastructure that operate in our global environment. Within certain areas/ hubs one can see very advanced ICT systems providing real-time risk analyses based on multiple scenarios, etc .... others .... not so much. Users may sometimes fall under the presumption that all ICT systems are equal thus provide the same level of feedback and analyses.
The potential for further improvement may lie within increased use of AI to self-interrogate and identify changing risk profiles and/or threats.

I have an issue with my PhD Thesis and I hope SOMEONE can help me in clarifying or suggesting a solution to this question.
My research problem statement revolves around the low level of ICT integration in the classroom.
The research aims to measure teachers' beliefs and attitudes toward the integration of ICT IN TEACHING.
To conduct this research I suggested using the decomposed theory of planned behaviour (DTPB) model. This model measures the effect of 3 main constructs in predicting the intention of teachers toward the integration of ICT and tendencies for actual integration. below is the original model of DTPB.
In my research, I seek to investigate the actual integration of ICT, not the intention to integrate ICT.
MY QUESTION IS:
Why don't I remove the (intention to integrate ICT) from the proposed model as long as I'm only interested in measuring the actual integration of ICT within the class?
Thanks in advance

Dear all researchers,
I am a new researcher in ICT, I am an Instructor in Safety Management System training. One of our syllabi is accident scenario and risk assessment practice.
Is there any researcher who can give us information related to:
1. List of safety hazards in the aerodrome
2. What tools do you use for plotting the risk assessment process (excel, Docx, or an app)
I appreciate that response to my question.
Thank you
Relevant answer
Answer
It is really interesting question is raised by Direstu Amalia but it needs to be cross checked with many literatures of ICT.
Safety Risk Assessment demands periodical monitoring and evaluation to find out the challenges and bottlenecks to overcome the problems in the process.
The Aviation department seeks the proper Safety Risk Assessment to regulate the function, administration and customer satisfaction etc.
GPS or GIS could be the important tools to capture the events in the Aerodrome environment.
The modern Aerodrome has intensified with ICT technologies to support the stakeholders expectations to escape from these risk challenges at any time because these challenges are highly sensitive to remove in time.

Answer
The question is more pertinent to demarcating to those who are accessing the Digital devices and to to those who are not accessing it
It can be said that the Digital Divide but how far it affects the stakeholders in developing and developed countries in particular.
Most of the activities were carried out by the ICT technologies in developing countries due to the extent of using these technologies at greater manner.
Of course, the technological challenges are common in developed countries also. Some US school students don't have laptops whereas the developing countries students have an opportunity to access these technologies on donors issued equipments or tax free digital devices issued by the certain Government like Kenya.
Each discipline has its own impact of using the digital devices accordingly but the Social Sciences have been intensified with different statistical softwares now a day.
Even the data collection method by Survey Monkey or online surveys etc could support the researchers in the modern trends.
On side of the digital challenges are numerous affordability to buy digital devices, lack of income, technological gap etc hindered the development of ICT usage and accessibilities.

Dear Colleagues,
With an increasing number of countries implementing digital health and digital public health tools, questions arise about whether these tools are effective and how to implement them best nationally. The lack of a validated and standard list of indicators complicates the comparison of digital health maturity between countries. We need guidance for governments in setting up strategies for the effective implementation and adoption of digital public health tools in routine care and the prevention of diseases.
To address this challenge, we want to invite researchers and practitioners from medicine, public health, economics, computer science, law, cultural studies, sociology, or other comparable disciplines. Participants should know about the development, implementation and evaluation of digital public health systems to take part in a Delphi study to choose the leading quality indicators to assess the maturity of national digital public health systems from four perspectives:
1. The information-telecommunication-technology requirements
2. The political support and legal regulation for the implementation and use of health technologies and the generated data
3. The application of concrete digital health tools to the national health system
4. The collective social willingness to use these tools
We are using a snowball approach to reach as many experts as possible. Please join our effort by participating in this Delphi study https://bit.ly/3raMsVY. Please forward this message to all your mailing lists of colleagues that might fit the purpose of this study. Every participation will be greatly appreciated and contribute to a better understanding of international digital public health systems.

Does ICT help increase public sector performance and how? What are your experiences?
Relevant answer
Answer
We all know that information and communication technology (ICT) has fundamentally changed our world... ICTs are also very important in solving problems that face our entire planet: the threat of change climate... ICTs are indeed part of the solution.
These technologies are already being used to reduce emissions and help countries adapt to the impacts climate change... Governments and industries that have adopted green development strategy, in the 21st century there will be
environmentalists and leaders in the economy.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a combination of devices and services that collect, transmit and display data and information electronically. This includes personal computers (PCs) and their peripherals, broadband networks and telecommunication devices, and data centers.
According to data released by ITU in October 2010, the number of Internet users in the world has doubled over the past years and will exceed 2 billion in 2010, with most of the new users coming from developing countries. The number of people with Internet access at home increased from 1.4 billion in 2009 to 1.6 billion in 2010, yet only 13.5 percent of them are online.
developing countries. There are significant differences between regions: 65 percent of the population in Europe use the Internet, while in African countries only 9.6 percent have access to it.
With the rapid expansion of broadband content and applications on the Internet, there is increasing demand for high-speed broadband connections, seen as a catalyst for growth. ITU Secretary-General Hamadoun Touré has called broadband "the next tipping point, the next truly transformative technology" –
it can create jobs, serve as a driving force
development and productivity, and underpin long-term economic competitiveness.
ITU Plenipotentiary Conference held in Guadalajara
in October 2010 (PP-10), adopted Resolution 182 "Role of
telecommunications/information and communication technologies in climate change and environmental protection"
This resolution
pointed out the need to help developing countries use ICTs to address climate change and ITU to collaborate with other stakeholders such as GeSI to develop tools to support the use of ICTs by developing countries.
Findings from studies such as the recent GeSI SMART 2020 study clearly show that better use of ICTs can lead to huge reductions in CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent).
ICTs can impact climate change in three main ways:
• reducing emissions in the ICT sector itself by introducing more
efficient equipment and networks;
• reducing emissions and achieving energy efficiency in other sectors by, for example, eliminating the need for travel and replacing physical objects with electronic ones (reducing material intensity);
• Helping developed and developing countries adapt to the adverse effects of climate change through the application of ICT-based weather and environmental monitoring systems worldwide.

According to the Patras blended strategy model, Distance Education quality depends heavily on the competences of online educators [1]. Staff professional development and training -as Prof Bruno De Lièvre mentions- is vital but more aspects are required for sustainable quality achievement [1]. Each letter of the TPACK model [2] counts: teaching staff needs to have technological and pedagodical next to content knowledge. If any aspect is lacking, online learning is likely to suffer. More details on how these principles can be implemented into distance learning practice can be found in the following publications [1-3]:

As an ESL Practitioner, I believe that technology plays an important role in language learning. We are in the era where digital softwares and applications are just a click away from both teachers and students. However, the question is are you teaching reading and writing with the machine or technology or are you using technology as a tool or aid for teaching? Thus it is critical for teachers to choose appropriate "mindtools" to aid the students in ESL learning. Moreover, having a group of participants with different age range is quite interesting. It would be great if you could do a comparative study to probe the difference if any.

If I need to create a range--for example, three ICT forms as '1', four ICT forms as '2', etc., does the range need to be similar to the independent variable? For instance, if I used a Likert scale of 5 for the IVs, does the DV also need to have 5 items in the range?

To be honest without looking at your data set it’s difficult for me to comment. I suggest you use SPSS and run a factor analysis for all your questions. Then you will have an idea about the response you have got and how they are grouped.
Also see if your data is normally distributed or not. If it’s normal distributed, then you can try parametric tests. If not you have to go for non parametric tests

If you have any ideas or similar type of studies/methods please share.
Thanks in advance.
