Questions related to Information and Communication Technology
Dear all researchers,
I am a new researcher in ICT, I am an Instructor in Safety Management System training. One of our syllabi is accident scenario and risk assessment practice.
Is there any researcher who can give us information related to:
1. List of safety hazards in the aerodrome
2. What tools do you use for plotting the risk assessment process (excel, Docx, or an app)
I appreciate that response to my question.
Thank you
I am looking for a factor with its broad explanation of how is it affecting the ICT growth in rural schools
Many challenges affect developing countries from all angles, though some can be solved by ICT but it is greatly hindered by the unwillingness of the existing innovators to commit to the quest. for known and unknown reasons.
Any ideas on different ways on how and ideas that can be brought to life ...user the comment section. thanks
What research should be done for blended learning, AR/VR etc in education?
Does ICT help increase public sector performance and how? What are your experiences?
Dear Colleagues,
With an increasing number of countries implementing digital health and digital public health tools, questions arise about whether these tools are effective and how to implement them best nationally. The lack of a validated and standard list of indicators complicates the comparison of digital health maturity between countries. We need guidance for governments in setting up strategies for the effective implementation and adoption of digital public health tools in routine care and the prevention of diseases.
To address this challenge, we want to invite researchers and practitioners from medicine, public health, economics, computer science, law, cultural studies, sociology, or other comparable disciplines. Participants should know about the development, implementation and evaluation of digital public health systems to take part in a Delphi study to choose the leading quality indicators to assess the maturity of national digital public health systems from four perspectives:
1. The information-telecommunication-technology requirements
2. The political support and legal regulation for the implementation and use of health technologies and the generated data
3. The application of concrete digital health tools to the national health system
4. The collective social willingness to use these tools
We are using a snowball approach to reach as many experts as possible. Please join our effort by participating in this Delphi study https://bit.ly/3raMsVY. Please forward this message to all your mailing lists of colleagues that might fit the purpose of this study. Every participation will be greatly appreciated and contribute to a better understanding of international digital public health systems.
This Delphi study will be conducted within the German Leibniz ScienceCampus Digital Public Health research project entitled "Developing a Maturity Measurement Model for Digital Public Health: The Digital Public Health Readiness Index".
Best regards and take care,
Laura Maaß
(on behalf of the digital public health readiness index team and the EUPHA Digital Health Section)

Hello everyone,
I recently read an article "Pros and cons of using ICT in teaching ESL reading and writing" which is related to my current research. I would like to discuss with you my understanding and questions regarding this area as below:
1. I like the way that the authors finalized the questions with several steps such as first draft, content and face validity, second draft and so on.
2. Would you please share with me how did you decide samples if you are the author?
3. I realized the majority participants are over 30 years old. Some of them are even more than 50. I am thinking if the age will be a factor impacting the result.
It will be much appreciated that you could give me some suggestions or insights in this area.
Thanks, Ying Laura Liu
I am working on a project regarding the impact of ICT investment on economic growth of the MENA region from 2007 to 2017. we will use econometric model and we wil set the ICT development index as a proxy to measure the ICT. I found data about ranks of IDI in 2007,2008,2010,2011,2012,2013,2015,2016,2017, but I can't find in 2009 and 2014, so can someone help me where can I find these two years?
thanks in advance.
Hello! I have a data from 72 schools and it has variables and data like: teacher experience, student's socio economic status, availability of the computer(ICT) room, marks for each subject, marks for the tests for a particular years (2013, 2014,2015), average score for the final exam, etc. Output variable is student performance in the final test.
Which statistical techniques can you recommend to analyze this data? Which one would best suit this data?
Role of agricultural extension is very important to disseminate information and technologies among the small and medium farmers. bur due to some setback like lack number of extension personals, lack of updated modern technologies technology is not disseminating in effective way. extension personals also not well updated with modern mechanism.

The use of ICT aims at facilitating communication between people and digital information processing systems, ensuring the coordination of people and material resources and cooperation in the work environment of journalistic production, to benefit reflective collective intelligence. So, the main question is: can a semantic framework in the 3C collaboration model be designed to facilitate journalistic work in a newsroom environment?
I am investigating the organizational factors affecting the use of ICT systems in academic libraries. As part of my research objectives, I am seeking to determine how aspects of the internal environment such as organizational strategy, organizational structure, organizational culture, organizational staff and resources affect the adoption of ICT in libraries. Is there any useful questionnaire out there I can adopt? what some of the useful questions one can pose to elicit information on how the culture of an organization affects the adoption and use of ICT?
What might be the relevance of ICT in design and planning of libraries especially to developing countries
Most schools use ICT tools to ease the load on teachers overburdened teachers, enable full coverage of the school curriculum and make learning fun. Do you agree?
Did ICT enhanced pedagogy promote pedagogical transformation?
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, i need your help guys, What are emotional and psychological impacts of using ICT to teach learners?
As an online or blended learning lecturer or an ICT specialist working at Distance Learning Department, how have you perceived the integration between Learning Management System (LMS) and Academic Management System at Higher or Vocational Education Institutions?
I'd like to read opinions and feelings from online, F2F and blended learning lecturers but also from ICT specialists working with this.
ICT is so interwoven with common mans life the paper is very interesting and illuminating.. As the author Harare says in his Homo Deous, 99 % of homo sapiens are bound to become useless with 1 % becoming superhuman: the impact of ICT.
Hi, I am looking for literature that allows student engagement to be measured in terms of student participation and motivation
The final qualification assessment for major programs is a strict regimen that involves different stages - oral and written exams, final project viva, internal and external review.
How are ICT tools used to translate real-life qualification assessment practices into the online qualification assessment process in a blended format? Especially due to COVID-19 quarantine measures?
In my survey, 'ICT adoption' as the dependent variable was manifested as use of the respondents of the different forms of ICT--for example., installing wifi or internet service; making the company visible in online booking apps; buying tablets, smartphones or other electronic gadgets for order taking, monitoring and/or reporting; etc. Now, how can I code these options in SPSS?
If I need to create a range--for example, three ICT forms as '1', four ICT forms as '2', etc., does the range need to be similar to the independent variable? For instance, if I used a Likert scale of 5 for the IVs, does the DV also need to have 5 items in the range?
Thanks in advance.
Hey, I used a survey with Likert scale data to identify the requirements to design n ICT intervention for occupational stress management. Now I'm trying to find an appropriate way to analyze my dataset to get an insight on user requirements (prioritize the requirements). If you have any ideas or similar type of studies/methods please share.
Thanks in advance.

I am in the process of writing a literature review paper on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). Google Scholar shows more than 52700 publications talking about MOOC and I assume most of Edu. Databases will show more or less number. This is even if the first MOOC was introduced in 2008!
I know your recommendations and insights will enlighten the work. Please tell me first what you believe the future of MOOC will be and then recommend the keystones articles in your point of view.
Instead of ICT enabled education can we use a term ICT enabled schooling as per my thinking we can have a definition of ICT with respect to a particular school, its assessment and its influence under this term.
These days, ICT skills courses are expected to be offered at all levels of education. Is there typical ICT Curriculum for Kindergarten, primary and secondary school students that can be customized for a given country context?
After noticing that my learners are fond of using websites, open access resources and social networks, I started to consider devoting more time to the use of ICT inside the classroom as well as assigning homeworks where they use technology.
Yet, I am not sure how would this make language teaching more effective considering the fact that internet is not accessible to all learners in the Algerian context.
What should parliament and its members expected to do to promote the adoption of ICTs in developing countries? Share me resources on this topic.
Do to the development in ICTs, the role of libraries is also changing. In line with this, we need to revisit the traditional Library Science curriculum. What are major major changes expected in the curriculum?
What are the other possible way to indicate involvement of ICT process.
I am a Mathematics educator. I want to conduct research in this field. Please help me.
As a Textile student i always noticed that ICT sector make many easier thing for our textile sector but curious mind want to know, Aren't Textile Sector can help to developed the ICT sector?
If, yes! Then how? In which ways?
Many in-service teachers were not trained on ICT integration. COVID 19 has made it clear that teachers need to have been well versed with the use of ICT in teaching and learning environment. This was not the case in developing nations and this has caused great violation of the right to education in many countries. Is it possible to have all teachers able to teach with technology? If so how?
What information and communication technologies do you think are necessary to make the lesson more effective in teaching the subject of Material Resistance?
A teacher should treat himself/herself as a facilitator in today's classes and it can be easily achieved by quizziz.com, kahoot and menti.com etc.
Integration of these tools really help us in converting a teacher to co-traveller.
What is your opinion?
There are a number of ICT applications in health care practice today ( hospitals, polyclinics, general practice, nursing, public health etc.). Evaluation and improvement of such application is needed - first of all due to new knowledge in medicine and healthcare practice, and new demands for improving health of population. Digitalization of health care offer a number of possibilities, and what to do with such data is issue the health professional know best. "Nothing should be done for us without us" is a statement or the reason that health professional should be empowered to participate in development (evaluation and improvement) ICT applications for health care.
I'm currently doing a critical review of factors influencing teacher's intention to adopt ICT. Then I was struck by why teachers are reluctant to adopt ICT in education. I was wondering the solution to solve the problem or improve the situation from teacher perspective. How can staff development or professional learning solve this problem? Are there any research focusing on how TPD programms influence teacher belief regarding ICT adoption? What knids of article would be recommended? I need help with the searching techniques.
I am looking for an EMG device for psychological experiments (in Austria).
Do you have any recommendations for hardware and software?
I am currently programming with "presentation" from neurobehavioral systems, and would like to keep on using this software for stimuli presentation. So the software should be compatible with this.
For the software i found iMotions.
For the hardware i found the Shimmer EMG solutions.
Do you have experiences with the software/hardware and its support services?
Alternatives?
I refer to the problem of assigning a name to identifiers (attributes, variables, etc.) in software development of decoupled systems, with the need to create a match. Typical scenario is the development of Web application in a classical 3-tier architecture.
Data layer defines their identifiers(e.g., table/column name). The same for other layers (e.g., Java Objects/Properties in the middle and Javascript Objects/Properties in presentation layer).
The freedom for developers to choose names for these identifiers +
the need to create a identifiers match among layers +
the possibility in large projects to have separate developers groups (even companies) for the each layers
=
Create the "naming problem" : 2 identifiers do not match (e.g., Java attribute and table column) and system functionality doesn't work.
Often this occur at runtime.
In my experience the "naming problem" is the basis of most of the problems encountered during test phase.
It is surprising that many popular J2EE frameworks (e.g., mybatis) do not provide tools to validate this basic problem at compile/deploy time.
Dear researchers,
During the Corona outbreak, the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become a necessity, as ICT use in education is a systematic and structured process to improve its quality. However, as teachers ourselves, we do face some obstacles which differ from country to country, from culture to culture... Would you please mention some of these obstacles?
Regards,
Rababah
Developing and under-developed nations understand the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for generating fast-paced growth while providing new and unimagined opportunities for previously disadvantaged populations. ICTs provide easy access to the wealth of human knowledge and to communication capabilities. The benefits of ICTs provide optimism for economically poorer citizens as there are numerous instances of ‘clever services’ enabled by inexpensive mobile phones, which are providing useful information, for example, about potentially harmful counterfeit drugs, which is of obvious benefit.
ICT can be defined as technologies that enable the handling of information and facilitate different forms of communication between human actors, human beings and electronic systems.
Overall, ICT is grouped together under two categories: the ‘traditional’ and the ‘new’. Traditional ICTs are non-electronic media such as print and analogue technologies, including books and newspapers, radio, television, fixed-line telephones and facsimile machines. New ICTs consist of computers and the data processing applications accessible through their use: email, the internet, word-processing, mobile phones, wireless technologies and other data processing applications.

ICT has affected almost each and every area of business world. It has also assisted Govt. to curb tax evasion to a large extent. In manual records, it was not very easy to track the records,it is not so that manual record keeping was not efficient, but when we compare it with digital record keeping, then really manual record keeping seems to be less efficient,as far as retrieval of data is concerned. Moreover, various modes like eTDS, eTCS,e Filing of Income Tax Returns have really made tax payment by assessees, and in that way,Govt has also been able to expand its tax base by creating a large pool of satisfied tax payers. Let us share the experiences, benefits, issues, challenges the taxation has faced in ICT Environment.

I am working on the role of ICT in firm performance, here i'm in difficulty gathering the proxies related to ICT. Is data from different firms related to ICT enough to clear my topic or anything else?
I am currently investigating in the usage of technology in the music class room in a collaborative creation setting, with kids aged 14-16.
Here, I am using interviews to develop an understanding of their experiences and opinions.
Reading up on relevant literature, it is often eg. described how the teacher-learner releation changes, but there is also the fact that teachers and students may be on a different level of "knowledge" about ICT. It could be that pupils, because they use a lot of (digital) technology in everyday life, know "more" than their teachers. This made me very curious to know more about teacher's perspective and opinions?
Are you as music education (context: school!) using ICT? Since when? in which way? What are you observing? What are your opinions, your experiences? Since when have you been teaching? Was ICT already on your teacher's training curriculum? Where are you situated?
Dears,
I am working on the role of ICT in cooperative behavior of farmers in crop disease management. I just came across the term digital dualism which is mainly used in the highly techno-savvy environment. Do anyone has come across a perspective or literature that tries to bring it into the rural context?

ABSTRACT
The objective of this article is to comparatively explore the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) interventions in the dissemination of agricultural information by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra before and during pandemic of Coronavirus as well as aware to the famers about containment of the pandemic spread of novel Coronavirus. The research adopted a quantitative research approach, while the study data were collected through the office of the KVK-II (MGKK) of Gorakhpur district (U.P.). The study revealed that the use of ICT interventions that include WhatsApp group, Facebook page, Website of the KVK, You tube channel, Personal phone calls, Radio talk, Tv talk, Text message, Audio Conference and Video conference etc. have an average increase up to 551.62% during pandemic in comparison to before the pandemic of COVID-19. This research not only explores the exiting status of ICT interventions to deliver the advisory services during Corona period but also provides a number of implications for the government, practitioners, policymakers and researchers for the effective utilization of the existing ICT interventions and for the future potential research and technological development to aware about containment of the pandemic spread of COVID-19 and future pandemics.
Keywords: COVID-19, Coronavirus, pandemic, KVK, ICT intervention.

This above question is prerequisite to have impact assessment study of technological interventions disseminated to farmers through various ict based platforms such as website, mobile apps,fb,whatsapp, youtube, twiter, kisan mobile help line, agrikiosks etc. for a period of two years in selected locations.
E-learning implementation relies on the effective modeling of (among others issues) content, participants-learners, content providers, infrastructural supplies, technology and the organisational culture thereof. These actors do not affect the end result in isolation but as a collective. The effects of each player on the whole can roughly be explained using Activity theory or Actor-network theory but this is not very holistic. I have a feeling that the SNT is better suited to investigate this problem especially that culture has an important role in shaping the effectiveness of e-learning systems.
Pls, how can I use structural equation modelling analysing for this topic impact of ICT usage for project performance using time, cost and quality as variable
