🔍 Summary:
The recent advancements in smart devices, mobile networks, and computing technologies are ushering us into a new era of Convergence ICT. To enable these smart devices to provide intelligent services, machine learning techniques are essential for training powerful predictive models. A common approach involves collecting distributed user data to a central cloud for deep learning model training. However, transferring massive amounts of data to the cloud center can cause significant transmission pressure on the backbone network. Additionally, increasing concerns about data privacy and the enforcement of privacy protection laws make it impractical to transmit data from end devices to the cloud.
Despite these advancements, existing AI techniques face several limitations that require novel solutions to better comprehend and improve their potential for decision-making in various real-world applications. Key challenges for employing diverse AI techniques include network management, communication efficiency, client selection and scheduling, resource management, security and privacy concerns, incentive mechanisms, and service management and pricing. Addressing these challenges calls for various techniques, including but not limited to:
· Data augmentation
· Active learning

Social Networks In Higher Education
The integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education imposes new demands on educators, and in general on all sectors of society, which requires a process of adaptation and transformation, which is reflected in new uses. cultures that lead to innovation. Social networks are tools that allow us to maintain constant communication, providing instant access to information regardless of distance. This study uses the Descriptive method in a participatory action research in the classroom with 91 students during two academic semesters, each semester divided into two groups generating the strategy of sharing knowledge in a playful way of a professional academic program in an official Colombian university. The result suggests that social media should be incorporated into higher education as an institutional policy, not just as an episodic event.

Which new ICT information technologies are most helpful in protecting the biodiversity of the planet's natural ecosystems?
What are examples of new technologies typical of the current fourth technological revolution that help protect the biodiversity of the planet's natural ecosystems?
Which new technologies, including ICT information technologies, technologies categorized as Industry 4.0 or Industry 5.0 are helping to protect the biodiversity of the planet's natural ecosystems?
How do new Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence technologies, including deep learning based on artificial neural networks, help protect the biodiversity of the planet's natural ecosystems?
New technologies, including ICT information technologies, technologies categorized as Industry 4.0 or Industry 5.0 are finding new applications. These technologies are currently developing rapidly and are an important factor in the current fourth technological revolution. On the other hand, due to the still high emissions of greenhouse gases generating the process of global warming, due to progressive climate change, increasingly frequent weather anomalies and climatic disasters, in addition to increasing environmental pollution, still rapidly decreasing areas of forests, carried out predatory forest management, the level of biodiversity of the planet's natural ecosystems is rapidly decreasing. Therefore, it is necessary to engage new technologies, including ICT information technologies, technologies categorized as Industry 4.0/Industry 5.0, including new technologies in the field of Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in order to improve and scale up the protection of the biodiversity of the planet's natural ecosystems.

What are the applications of machine learning, deep learning and/or artificial intelligence technologies to securities market analysis, including stock market analysis, bonds, derivatives?
ICT information technologies have already been implemented in banking and large companies operating in non-financial sectors of the economy since the beginning of the third technological revolution. Subsequently, the Internet was used to develop online and mobile banking. Perhaps in the future, virtual banking will be developed on the basis of the increasing scale of application of technologies typical of the current fourth technological revolution and the growing scale of implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies to businesses operating in both the financial and non-financial sectors of the economy. In recent years, various technologies for advanced, multi-criteria data processing have increasingly been applied to business entities in order to improve organisational management processes, risk management, customer and contractor relationship management, management of supply logistics systems, procurement, production, etc., and to improve the profitability of business processes. In order to improve the profitability of business processes, improve marketing communications, offer products and services remotely to customers, etc., such Industry 4.0 technologies as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, Big Data Analytics, Data Science, Blockchain, robotics, multi-criteria simulation models, digital twins, but also machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence are increasingly being used. In the field of improving the processes of equity investment management, the processes of carrying out economic and financial analyses, fundamental analyses concerning the valuation of specific categories of investment assets, including securities, i.e. improving the processes carried out in investment banking, ICT information technologies and Industry 4.0 have also been used for many years now. In this connection, there are also emerging opportunities to apply machine learning, deep learning and/or artificial intelligence technologies to the analysis of the securities market, including the analysis of the stock market, bonds, derivatives, etc., i.e. key aspects of business analytics carried out in investment banking. Improving such analytics through the use of the aforementioned technologies should, in addition to the issue of optimising investment returns, also take into account important aspects of the financial security of capital markets transactions, including issues of credit risk management, market risk management, systemic risk management, etc.
In view of the above, I would like to address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:
What are the applications of machine learning, deep learning and/or artificial intelligence technologies for securities market analysis, including equity, bond, derivatives market analysis?
What is your opinion on the subject?

ICTO2023: ETHICAL & RESPONSIBLE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE SOCIETIES
The 7th Conference for Information & Communication Technologies for Organization & Society
Paris, July 6th & 7th, 2023
Sorbonne Université, Paris, France
Hosts : L'Observatoire de l'Intelligence Artificielle de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne

Ethical & Responsible Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies
Artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the future of humanity. It is already the key driver of emerging technologies and will continue to be the technological innovator in the envisioned future. Industry experts anticipate AI advances to produce dramatic changes in the service industry by 2025; while others expect AI to overtake humans in the near future (PEW, 2014; Cuthbertson, 2020). Research on AI is prevailing all fields (Merhi & Harfouche, 2023) and is dominating science, agriculture, healthcare, military, financial and many other domains worldwide (Gartner Inc., 2021; Tutun et al., 2023). Thus, AI has high potentials to benefit humanity and help resolving many of the world's challenges from poverty to environmental sustainability.
Today, there is increasing awareness and expectation that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help address these grand challenges that include societal inequalities and environmental sustainability in developing and developed countries (Dennehy et al., 2021; Dwivedi et al., 2022; Harfouche et al., 2022; Tarhini et al., 2022). These grand challenges can be categorized as (i) socio- technical, (ii) infrastructural, (iii) societal ecological, (iv) legal and ethical, and (v) emotional (Becker et al., 2015). Achieving the benefits of AI in addressing these challenges motivated researchers worldwide. However, these benefits can only be achieved if AI is used wisely, in a sustainable, ethical, and responsible way through the development of ethics and governance principles to guide the development and deployment of ethical and responsible AI. Yet, there is a concern that the response from the Information Systems (IS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) research communities has been 'dismal and at best marginal' in this regard (Tan & Neilson, 2021). In fact, the potential value from artificial intelligence is expected to be enormous. But the question remains: what are the costs of AI when not done responsibly?
Sustainable, reliable, effective, and human-centered AI systems requires responsible AI principles and perspectives not only from technological but also ethical, legal, socio-economic, and socio-political domains. Responsible AI is the practice of developing and deploying AI systems with good intentions in a responsible manner, helping to empower employees, business, and society. Ethics and governance of AI could be influenced by different cultural context. However, these cultural differences provide a diversity of perspectives, and opportunities to learn from one another. Sharing insights, expertise and different perspectives on ethical and responsible AI for sustainable development is and will continue to be an important concern for the ICTO community.
The 7th conference for Information & communication technologies for organization & society (ICTO2023) aims to bring together multidisciplinary contributions from different domains and cultures around IS and AI to advance knowledge to achieve a better and more sustainable future for organizations & societies. This year, ICTO2023 aims at finding answers to question like: What do we want the future of work to look like? How do we want AI to change our lives? What does it really mean to be doing AI "responsibly"? Can we do Responsible AI without worrying about the social consequences? How the principles of responsible AI could be applied more broadly toward achieving sustainable development goals?
We invite scholars, practitioners, and early career researchers to present their research at ICTO2023 to contribute to the Ethical and Responsible AI research that leads to better and sustainable societies. Theoretical and empirical papers employing quantitative, qualitative, and/or design science are welcomed.

How can cryptocurrency trading be formalised, institutionalised and made more secure?
How to build formalised and high-security transaction institutionalised cryptocurrency trading markets?
In recent years, many technology startups have based their growth and competitive advantage on business, technological, product, service, marketing or other innovations. Banks are reluctant to provide investment loans to emerging startups basing their growth on innovative technologies. In such a situation, innovative startups emerge and are financed through such external sources of funding as investment funds, business angels, securities issuance, crowdfunding and others. Crowdfunding will develop intensively in the future as an alternative to classic forms of external financing for business ventures. It is an alternative to the financial service offerings of financial sector institutions, particularly in the segment of financing innovative start-ups. Commercial banks operating within the framework of classic deposit and credit banking often avoid lending to innovative start-ups due to difficulties in assessing credit risk. In such a situation, crowdfunding can be a good solution to the problems of finding external funding. On the other hand, cryptocurrencies, which operate outside institutionalised and centralised financial systems, are growing in importance. Perhaps in the future, cryptocurrencies will displace traditional currency from online financial transactions between fintechs, financial institutions, innovative start-ups, online technology companies running social media portals and their customers, and between users of these online portals. In addition to this, it is becoming essential to improve the security of online financial transactions and settlements carried out through online mobile banking. In this connection, blockchain technology is developing as an application for securing online transactions and data transfer. An increasing number of large companies are announcing the creation of their own cryptocurrency. Some investment banks such as JP Morgan have announced the creation of their own cryptocurrency for settlements with key counterparties. The development and implementation of ICT information technologies, advanced data processing technologies Industry 4.0 and Internet technologies into the business activities of companies and enterprises facilitates the execution of financial operations on the Internet and ensures a high level of security of Internet data transfer. The development of technological innovations, ICT information technologies, advanced information processing technologies co-creating the current technological revolution Industry 4.0, financing through crowdfunding, securing online transactions with blockchain technology, the increase in the use of cryptocurrencies in these settlements, etc. are likely to be important determinants of the development of innovative, technological start-ups operating on the Internet and factors in the development of the knowledge economy in the years to come. Consequently, the development of open innovation is correlated with the issue of innovation and entrepreneurship development in the economy. A significant proportion of innovative startups develop their business model based on open innovation. On the other hand, in macroeconomic terms, the development of open innovation can be an important determinant of economic development in developing countries and in developed knowledge-based economies. In view of the above, research shows that the spread of open innovation and open knowledge bases is an important issue for building a sustainable economy in a technologically developed and developing country. A number of predictive studies show that cryptocurrencies will grow in importance in the future in financing various transactions and settlements carried out electronically, through the Internet, on social media, in investment banking, etc. Currently, many technology startups base their growth and competitive advantage on technological, product, service, marketing or other innovations. However, in order for the financing of new business ventures, innovative startups to develop using cryptocurrencies it is necessary to increase the scale of systemic formalisation and institutionalisation of transactions carried out using cryptocurrencies, to build formalised cryptocurrency markets and to increase the security of transactions carried out using cryptocurrencies in the future.
In view of the above, I address the following question to the esteemed community of scientists and researchers:
Can the planned taxation of cryptocurrency transactions be a first step for increasing the scale of systemic formalisation and institutionalisation of cryptocurrency transactions, building formalised cryptocurrency markets and increasing the future security of cryptocurrency transactions?
How to build formalised and highly secure transaction institutionalised cryptocurrency trading markets?
How can cryptocurrency transactions be formalised, institutionalised and made more secure?

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have played a significant role in identifying COVID-19 positive patients. Some examples include:
- Telemedicine: ICT has enabled remote consultations between patients and healthcare professionals, which has helped to reduce the spread of the virus and reduce the burden on hospitals and clinics.
- Electronic Health Records (EHRs): ICT has allowed for the digitization of health records, which has made it easier for healthcare professionals to access patient information and track the spread of the virus.
- Contact Tracing: ICT has been used to develop contact tracing apps, which use Bluetooth technology to track and alert individuals who have come into contact with a positive case.
- Remote Monitoring: ICT has been used to monitor patients remotely, using devices such as wearable sensors to track vital signs and alert healthcare professionals to potential complications.
In summary, ICT has played a vital role in identifying and tracking COVID-19 positive patients, enabling healthcare professionals to make more informed decisions and take necessary actions in a timely manner.
Telemedicine: ICT has enabled remote consultations between patients and healthcare professionals through various means such as video conferencing, phone calls and messaging. This has been particularly useful during the COVID-19 pandemic, as it has allowed patients to receive medical advice and treatment without having to visit a hospital or clinic in person, which reduces the risk of transmission. Telemedicine has also allowed healthcare professionals to triage patients remotely, identifying those who are most at risk and need to be seen in person, and enabling others to receive care and advice from the safety of their own homes.
Electronic Health Records (EHRs): ICT has allowed for the digitization of health records, which has made it easier for healthcare professionals to access patient information and track the spread of the virus. This has been particularly useful in identifying patients who have been in close contact with a positive case, as well as tracking the spread of the virus within communities. EHRs can also be used to identify patterns in the spread of the virus, which can help healthcare professionals and policymakers to better understand the virus and develop effective strategies to combat it.
Contact Tracing: ICT has been used to develop contact tracing apps, which use Bluetooth technology to track and alert individuals who have come into contact with a positive case. These apps have been used in many countries to track the spread of the virus and alert individuals who may have been exposed, enabling them to take necessary precautions and get tested.
Remote Monitoring: ICT has been used to monitor patients remotely, using devices such as wearable sensors to track vital signs and alert healthcare professionals to potential complications. This has been particularly useful for patients who are self-isolating or who have been discharged from hospital but are still recovering. Remote monitoring enables healthcare professionals to monitor patients remotely, which can help to identify and intervene early if any complications arise.
In summary, ICT has played a vital role in identifying and tracking COVID-19 positive patients, enabling healthcare professionals to make more informed decisions and take necessary actions in a timely manner. Telemedicine and EHRs have improved accessibility, Contact tracing has helped to track the spread of the virus, and Remote monitoring has improved patient outcomes by enabling healthcare professionals to intervene early if any complications arise.

How can new ICT information technologies and Industry 4.0 help in environmental monitoring and conservation of the tropical Amazon Rainforest and other areas of forests, green spaces?
The technological advances taking place are contributing to the improvement of computerized analytical techniques implemented on large data sets. The development of technological solutions typical of the current fourth technological revolution, including the improvement and creation of new generations of ICT and Industry 4.0 information technologies, makes it possible to carry out multi-criteria analysis and simulation and forecasting models carried out on large sets of information and data. Such analyses are carried out using computerized analytical tools including Big Data Analytics in conjunction with other Industry 4.0 technologies. When the aforementioned analytical tools are enriched with Internet of Things technologies, cloud computing and satellite-implemented sensing and monitoring techniques, the possibilities for multi-criteria analytics of large areas, e.g. nature, climate and others in real time conducted using satellites, emerge. When artificial intelligence technology, machine learning, multi-criteria simulation models, and digital twins are added to these analytical and research techniques, opportunities arise for creating predictive simulations for multi-factor, complex processes realized in real time. These can be complex multi-factor natural, climatic, ecological processes, etc., and concerning changes in the state of the environment, environmental pollution, changes in the state of ecosystems, biodiversity, changes in the state of soils in agricultural fields, changes in the state of moisture in forest areas, etc. caused by civilization factors. In view of the above, new ICT information technologies and Industry 4.0 can also help monitor the state of the environment and protect the tropical Amazon rainforest and other areas of forests, green areas.
In view of the above, I address the following question to the esteemed community of researchers and scientists:
How can new ICT information technologies and Industry 4.0 help in environmental monitoring the biodiversity status and protection of the tropical Amazon Rainforest and other areas of forests, green spaces?
In what configuration of individual Industry 4.0 technologies should computerized environmental monitoring systems be built as essential elements of the system for protecting the tropical Amazon Rainforest and other areas of forests, green areas?

I have an issue with my PhD Thesis and I hope SOMEONE can help me in clarifying or suggesting a solution to this question.
My research problem statement revolves around the low level of ICT integration in the classroom.
The research aims to measure teachers' beliefs and attitudes toward the integration of ICT IN TEACHING.
To conduct this research I suggested using the decomposed theory of planned behaviour (DTPB) model. This model measures the effect of 3 main constructs in predicting the intention of teachers toward the integration of ICT and tendencies for actual integration. below is the original model of DTPB.
In my research, I seek to investigate the actual integration of ICT, not the intention to integrate ICT.
MY QUESTION IS:
Why don't I remove the (intention to integrate ICT) from the proposed model as long as I'm only interested in measuring the actual integration of ICT within the class?
Thanks in advance
If a new curriculum is introduced in education system, for instance the new Competency-Based curriculum recently introduced in Kenya, what initiatives caan the government need to undertake to ensure existing ICT tools remain relevant?

Dear all researchers,
I am a new researcher in ICT, I am an Instructor in Safety Management System training. One of our syllabi is accident scenario and risk assessment practice.
Is there any researcher who can give us information related to:
1. List of safety hazards in the aerodrome
2. What tools do you use for plotting the risk assessment process (excel, Docx, or an app)
I appreciate that response to my question.
Thank you
I am looking for a factor with its broad explanation of how is it affecting the ICT growth in rural schools
Many challenges affect developing countries from all angles, though some can be solved by ICT but it is greatly hindered by the unwillingness of the existing innovators to commit to the quest. for known and unknown reasons.
Any ideas on different ways on how and ideas that can be brought to life ...user the comment section. thanks
Dear Colleagues,
With an increasing number of countries implementing digital health and digital public health tools, questions arise about whether these tools are effective and how to implement them best nationally. The lack of a validated and standard list of indicators complicates the comparison of digital health maturity between countries. We need guidance for governments in setting up strategies for the effective implementation and adoption of digital public health tools in routine care and the prevention of diseases.
To address this challenge, we want to invite researchers and practitioners from medicine, public health, economics, computer science, law, cultural studies, sociology, or other comparable disciplines. Participants should know about the development, implementation and evaluation of digital public health systems to take part in a Delphi study to choose the leading quality indicators to assess the maturity of national digital public health systems from four perspectives:
1. The information-telecommunication-technology requirements

Dear researchers,
During the Corona outbreak, the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become a necessity, as ICT use in education is a systematic and structured process to improve its quality. However, as teachers ourselves, we do face some obstacles which differ from country to country, from culture to culture... Would you please mention some of these obstacles?
Regards,
Rababah

The layers involved are the Generation layer, Transmission layer, Distribution layer, and the Customer layer of an IOT driven Microgrid.
I want to list the name of an advance attack type on each layer with description regarding how that attack is launched on that layer.
My findings, within the context of microgrid network, to prevent from each of the above-mentioned attacks in the future.
A detailed unified network diagram of each layer showing the locations of attacks within the ICT infrastructure of the microgrid network.
What research paper can you recommend to us about the effectiveness of using ICT in teaching the subject "Resistance of Materials" in technical universities?
The last time that I asked a question about the relationship between ICT and social innovation, I received good feedback. I would now like to ask your suggestion about the analytical model, data, and appropriate tools for examining this relationship.
We want here the list of UGC Care journal and Scopus Indexed Journals in the area of ICT and Software Application in various Societal domain?

If yes, what are the barriers and opportunities for using these types of innovations in urban community development ?
Hello everyone,
I recently read an article "Pros and cons of using ICT in teaching ESL reading and writing" which is related to my current research. I would like to discuss with you my understanding and questions regarding this area as below:
1. I like the way that the authors finalized the questions with several steps such as first draft, content and face validity, second draft and so on.
2. Would you please share with me how did you decide samples if you are the author?
3. I realized the majority participants are over 30 years old. Some of them are even more than 50. I am thinking if the age will be a factor impacting the result.
It will be much appreciated that you could give me some suggestions or insights in this area.
Thanks, Ying Laura Liu

thanks in advance.
Hello! I have a data from 72 schools and it has variables and data like: teacher experience, student's socio economic status, availability of the computer(ICT) room, marks for each subject, marks for the tests for a particular years (2013, 2014,2015), average score for the final exam, etc. Output variable is student performance in the final test.
Which statistical techniques can you recommend to analyze this data? Which one would best suit this data?
