it would be good if there's information of Atrophaneura luchti, but other Atrophaneura also works.
Relevant answer
Answer
Presumably you have already seen Roepke (1935) Rhopalocera Javanica and the 1942 supplement.
Probably the most recent book in English including Atrophaneura species is actually D'Abrera, B. (1982) Butterflies of the Oriental Region Part I. Hill House, Victoria, Australia, 244pp.
D'Abrera's Atrophaneura (pp. 34-50) included Byasa and Losaria, with A. priapus and A. luchti illustrated on pp. 44-45.
Nakae (2021) Papilionidae of the World (in Japanese) covered all species of Atrophaneura. See http://kawamo.co.jp/roppon-ashi/papilionidae.html/en/index.html for more information.
Since D'Abrera there have been very few publications on Javan Atrophaneura, but Hirata & Miyagawa (2006) published a paper on A. nox (Revisional study on the subspecies of Atrophaneura nox (Lepidoptera, Papilionidae), with descriptions of two new subspecies. Trans. lepid. Soc. Japan, 57(3): 187-201) which is available online (black & white only) from https://archive.org/details/tlsj-lepid-57-3-187/mode/2up .
I hope this helps at least a little.

Currently, I am adapting the Workforce Agility scale adapted to Indonesian language and culture. To provide further clarification for items, I am adding contextual information within parentheses "()" to them for better understanding aside from the original translated items. Is this permissible?
For example:
1. Saya senang bekerja sama dengan orang lain (baik dengan tim yang sama ataupun lintas departemen/fungsional)
2. Saya suka mengambil tanggung jawab atas berbagai urusan di tempat kerja (selain tugas-tugas yang menjadi tanggung jawab saya)
Relevant answer
Answer
beside the point and the method Mr.Wojcik recommended, I think a back-translation would help, ex. maybe you've translated the items from English to Indonesian, now you translate them back from Indonesian to English by someone else, to find out if the Indonesian translation implies the meaning intended in English.
sometimes it is necessary to add some information or clarifications when translating a test from another language, due to cultural differences, which plays a big part in the results of the test. but as Mr.wojcik mentioned, partial validation should be carefully watched.

Hello everyone!
Currently, I am doing an observational, cross-sectional study on knowledge, atittude, and practice towards thalassemia in Indonesia. My area of interest is in population studies. It is a research in the public health domain. My team and I have developed a questionnaire in Indonesian language that contains questions from previous research as well as new questions. We already translated the questions and asked experts in the field to help with the content validity. My question is:
1. When writing the manuscript for the results of my research, is it necessary to report the validity & reliability testing results of the questionnaire? Some suggest to do so, but I've found many related papers that actually didn't report any of it. Is there any circumstance where it is not necessary to be performed?
2. If required, what kind of validity & reliability tests do I need for the questionnaire? I've only heard of the Cronbach's alpha method.
3. If required, do you suggest I report the validity & reliability of the questionnaire in a separate publication from the main research findings? I've seen papers which only discuss about the validity and reliability of a questionnaire. Here's an example: http://www.mjms.usm.my/MJMS27012020/12MJMS27012020_OA9.pdf
Thank you! Any help will be much appreciated

Answer
I always recommend first establishing the reliability and validity of a new measure in a pilot study. You don't want to put in a lot of time and effort collecting data just to find out (after the fact) that your measure is no good! However, you mentioned that you took questions from a previous questionnaire (which has been validated in previous studies, I presume) and included some new questions. What is the ratio of old to new questions? For instance, if the questionnaire has 20 items, with 18 old and 2 new questions you created, I don't think a separate study is needed. However, if you have, say, a 50-50 split between old and new questions, I would collect some pilot data first to make sure your measure is reliable/valid before moving forward.

How do you think what is the main rationale/motive of Indonesia to collaborate with China in education field?
Why China's presence has a fast-growing nature in Indonesia, including education?
Can collaboration of China-Indonesia education sectors be beneficial for both countries and nations?
China and Indonesia has a big gap in the results of internationalisation of higher education, for example, research papers, international student mobility, university collaborations, many others. Besides that Indonesia has one of the largest education systems (population and territory), the country's education situation demands many complex reformations. Moreover, China's presence in Indonesia is growing (investments, CIs, increased scholarships for Indonesian students, etc.). While the Indonesian government announced that China was one of the target countries Indonesia wants to collaborate in the field of education.

Dear All,
I am investigating the effects of a shock to education to the structure of the labour market in Indonesia. For this, I am trying to access Indonesian inter-censal survey data from 1995 (SUPAS 1995) and labour force surveys from 1986-1999 (SAKERNAS 1986-1999), however I would prefer to not go via the faceless Indonesian Bureau of Statistics as I think that with bureaucracy I will not get the data fast enough. Is there a way in which I can more easily access the datasets?

I have raw radar data for a year in the Indonesian maritime continent, with a 10 minute scan time. From this data, I want to make vertical profile of reflectivity (VPR) for detect bright band and apply its correction in quatitative precipitation estimate (QPE). Because I just learned to process raw data, I have something to ask about VPR. 1. Is it necessary to separate the rain type every 10 minutes to make VPR climatology? Stratiform and convective. Or is it directly calculated without seeing the type of rain? 2. Does each pixel have its own VPR? 3. What the best elevation is used for QPE radar?
I have tried using 100 files, but the results are far from theory as attached file
Relevant answer
Answer
Dear Peter :
Bright band is caused by ice melting in stratiform conditions, and is much less marked (or not detectable in convective conditions). You may view to separate first stratiform and convective (presence or not of bright-band and/or horizontal gradient), before to determine VPRs. Concerning the VPR estimation, the radar beam characteristics (diameter) are important when the range increases. It is not required to determine a VPR fo each pixel. The best elevation is the lowest non affected by ground clutters. The problem with VPR is less obvious to solve when range increases because data at the lowest elevation are polluted, and because the beam vertical resolution deteriorates. It prevents to well determine the local VPR, and imposes to extrapolate a VPR derived close to the radar or to use a VPR identification model/method.

My question is based on the regulation of Indonesia general election supervisory body called Bawaslu RI (Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Republik Indonesia) No. 8/2018 on settlement of administrative violations of general election, Article 64. Which stipulate if there is any party who is not satisfied with the verdict made out by the first stage court conduct by the provincial/district Bawaslu (only applied to the party who is act as the reporter party or the reported party in the case). could ask a favour to the Bawaslu RI as the appeal court to correct the verdict made out by the Provincial/Regency Bawaslu as the first stage court. But, in the process of correction of the verdict by the Indonesian Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu RI). they are not obliged to present the parties which involved in this case, they will only strengthen the verdict made by the provincial or district Bawaslu or correct the verdict by examining the verdict documents and evidence presented in the first stage court. without presenting the parties involved in the case (in other words, they did not apply the audi of alteram et partem principle).

Soil organic carbon as observed in lowland of continuous rice cropping in guinea savanna..... 2017. Journal of Research in Environmental and Earth Science 3(3):25-34.
Co-efficient of humus mineralization can be calculated by equation of Bouvier et al, 2016
K2= (0.3t - 3)/[(1+0.05 X CL (%)) X (100 + 0.15 CaCO3)(%o)
t = annual average temp, CL % is the proportion of clay in soil, CaCO3 is the soil content of CaCO3 (%), known that 40.04 % is the content of Ca

I have been working on my dissertation research project that aims to explore the concept of 'calling' in Indonesian context, predominantly among the Muslim teachers. In this vein, it seeks to rectify the omission of a focus on non-Western context to study this construct, thus attempting to provide a more nuanced picture of the key facets of calling.
Does anyone perhaps have an interview schedule for examining people's sense of calling in their work from which I can leverage? Of course, it will be tailored to meet the objectives and core questions of my research, and, to uphold our academic values, I can assure for its confidentiality. Hope for your kind support.

At the beginning of the study we elicited data of complaint strategies by using oral DCT. After one year, we collected data for the second time from the same persons with the same instrument, and compared the results to the previous ones to see any pragmalinguistic development. I want to do research about lexical similarities between two languages- thai and indonesian language.
Relevant answer
Dear Robertus:
For the study of Mesoamerican languages, the standard technique was developed by Morris Swadesh in the mid-20th century. It is a lexicostatistical method based on a list of 100 lexical items considered to be basic and thus relatively stable. The percentage of cognates found in two related languages yields a quantity of years that indicate the approximate number of minimum centuries elapsed since these languages began to diverge.
The main criticism of this method is that it is not accurate, and it would be naive to use these glottochronological dates as if they represented real time rather than lexical similarity. Swadesh thought a reasonable margin of error was 10%, but I think he was overly optimistic about the accuracy of his method. In my ethnohistorical work I am more cautious, using a margin of error of 25% when comparing glottochronological dates with archaeological or historical evidence.
Recently an international team of linguists created an automated system to compute the similarity between two languages based on Levenshtein distances, mentioned by Bettina on this thread yesterday.
I compared the dates computed with this new method and the old glottochronological dates for languages in the Yutonahuan and Otopamean families of North and Central America, and found that with one exception all of the new dates fall within the range of glottochronological dates, considering a margin of error of 25%. To do this I had to dig into the online database, because there wasn't enough information in the published article (Holman, 2011) to understand exactly which languages had been compared within each family.
