I am trying to export the XPS data from CASA software to ASCII format but getting an error stating "Demo version: Data not saved". Please suggest how to do it.
If you have powerfactory 2023, you can import the file and export it to earlier version.

Grid has export capacity of 1 MW. However, its capacity is not utilized for most of the months. I have been researching the methods to determine the optimal PV size that would make the best possible use of grid capacity. However, I have not been able to reach the conclusion on optimal sizing. On the basis of solar energy curtail profile, 1 MW seems to have maximum annual energy. However, up to 225kW there is negligible energy loss in the system. It seems that optimal capacity lies within in these range, but I need the optimization method that best work for this system.
Has anyone been researching in this domain? If you have done some related work can you please share your insights that how we can reach the solution of this problem ?

I have a time series data that is stationary. There is no multicollinearity (VIF value is less than 5).
My dependent variable is industrial turnover, and one of my independent variables is export data. There is a positive correlation between exports and industrial production. In simple linear regression, the model is significant, and the regression coefficient is significant and positive. The scatter plot also shows a positive relationship.
Also, the correlation between the export variable and other variables is very low; the highest correlation is 0.6 with imports. Others are less than 0.5.
However, in multiple regression, the regression coefficient is significant but negative. In the Lasso regression model, the coefficient is also negative. What could be the reason for this?"

I am working on running Autodesk Inventor through MATLAB, with the primary goal of operating Inventor in batch mode. My objective is to select design parameters in MATLAB, write them to an Excel file, and then use these parameters to generate the structure in Inventor's batch mode, followed by exporting the geometry. The reason for using batch mode is that a large number of design parameters will result in the generation of thousands of geometries, requiring the process to be automated for higher computational efficiency.

I was trying to get the OPLS-AA parameters for an organic molecule, actonitrile (CH3CN), from LigParGen using PDB as well as smiles code ("CC#N") .
In case of PDB I found the error: " Found residue ligand N".
In case of smles code, I encountered the error,

I have incorporated the dispersion effect for the OPBE functional by specifying the S6, SR6 and S8 parameters for GD3 in Gaussian G09 package. For this purpose, I have defined the environment variables in G09 as mentioned below:

This works for the Gaussian09 package. However, the same does not work for Gaussian16 even though the environment variables were set similar to that for Gaussian09 (as shown above). It is unable to read the S8 parameter in G16 package. Kindly help me with the use of environment variable for incorporating the GD3 dispersion in G16 for performing calculations using the OPBE functional.
I am working with EEGLAB on data exported as EDF+ from the Emotiv EPOC Flex. However, I am unable to find the channel locations file for this EEG device. Could anyone assist me in finding or obtaining this file? Thank you in advance for your help.
If you have channel labels, you can use a function from EEGLAB that assigns locations based on the standard labels (Fz, Fp1, Fp2, F3, F4, F7, F8, FC1, FC2...). That usually works well.
Edit->Channal location. You can try for example BESA.

I need your help. I want to order my designs as PCB. Most of the PCB manufacturer sites accept for order designs in Gerber format. I converted my designs to Gerber file from CST. But they send me failed message about Gerber format. They failed reason is:
"Failed reason:
Lack of the Keepout layer (Board Outline), please add it in GKO/GM1/OUTLINE Layer.; "
How can I export these from CST? or How can I order ?
Additionally, Gerber program does not support Z coordinate format. It accepts only XY and doesn't show material type and thickness. How can I show these in Gerber? I can only send the designs separately and so that the order of the designs is not correct. Thats why Thickness, Design order, Material type, I send a pdf, is this correct? Is this how it's done?

I have installed Windows 95 in a Virtual Box on a Windows 11 PC. How can I import and export data in Win 95?
I am using Inficon Transpector XPR3 and fabguard explorer software to analyze gases in our vacuum system. I am facing an issue in exporting the RUN data in other units. I can see that I can switch between different units such as RAW, PP, amu, etc. in the software. I am specifically interested in exporting my data in PP unit. When I select PP unit in the RUN window and then exporting data by clicking RUN>Export>selected mass bins, I ended up in exporting data only in RAW unit. I am not able to export the data in PP unit.
Anybody knows how to export the RUN data in PP unit in FabGuard Explorer?

Inflation are an index, Exchange rates are Local Currency Unit (LCU) per Dollar, and Trade Openess are ratio sum export and import for GDP.
We collected data from some countries over a dozen years.
We use OLS.
With real data, we pass the all clasical assumptions.
Our question:
1. to find determination of external debt, is it wrong to use LCU/$?
2. in every country, it have different exchange rates. some are 1 LCU/$, and others are more than ten of thousands. is it problem to use a real LCU/$ than Log/LN?

Hello everyone, and thank you in advance for reading/answering my question.
I have built my gelogical model in PETREL software exported it into Rescue format and imported it into CMG Builder, to this point there was no error and the check mark in builder turned green.
After that, I finished my Pvt model in CMG Winprop and exported a GEM file to use it in Buidler, when I imported the data the following Error appeared in the reservoir tab and I didn't know what is the problem. (See attached picture)
Does anyone know what is this problem and how to fix it?

I did 10 cycles of charging and discharging at a fixed current (Chrono galvanostatic) with Metrohm Autolab for my material that is being tested as supercapacitor.
I wanted to export the data from Nova 2.1.4 software in ASCII format. There is no option to extract or export entire data. I have to export each charge and discharge data one by one. Is there any way to export the 10 cycles at a time in a single step instead of doing the extraction 10 times for charging and 10 times for discharging?
If I do for 1000 cycles....how to extract....?

I would like to do a model reduction with Workbench. I need to export 3 files: *.sub, *.tcms and *.cdb.
From what I could read and find, I have to make a model reduction to be able to export them. For the moment I would like to do it on a simple model: it is just a beam, fixed at 4 points with rigids. At each point, 3 springs are attached in X, Y and Z directions.

With a modal analysis, the solution is running if I suppress the springs. If I keep the spring, an unknown error occurs and the files are not exported. I don't understand why it isn't working with the springs. I tried different methods but nothing works...
The simulation with the springs is running without the command.

Hello RG members, I am using Design Expert 11 to estimate some results, however, while I'm exporting the 3D surface graphs data into excel, the file is saving but without data inside and 0 kb size.
Meanwhile exporting the effects like Pareto Diagram data, and model diagnostic graphs data into .csv through File -> Export to file enables to save the data even into raw form.
But, this method is not applicable for exporting 3D surface graphs data.
Does anyone know the solution or have tackled the same issue with some add-in plugs???

I installed the new Mendeley reference manager for the desktop on 8th September 2023. However, several menu options are missing. Eg. Under 'File' Menu, the only option available is 'Export All'. Nothing else.

I need to extract the mode shape vectors of some cantilever plate to make a correlation between some of them analytically.
I used the workbench to simulate the problem and added the next APDL command to extract both mass and stiffness matrices in MMF:

Then I did modal analysis , and I got the two files of mass and stiffness matrices in MMF .
I used the next Matlab code to solve the eigen problem in order to extract mode shapes.

This code ran syntactically without any errors .
I checked for the first natural frequency, omegaHz(1,1), which is supposed to be 208.43 Hz as shown in the workbench analysis , but unfortunately it was 64023 Hz .
Would you please show me what is wrong with that problem?
Or is there any possible way to extract the mode shape vectors or modal matrix directly from ANSYS ?

Hello, I'm trying to export an isosurface as an .stl mesh object in order to parse it and extract the cloud of points with xyz coordinates.
The objective is to write a pseudo-pdb file with those coordinates that I can reenter into VMD and calculate some distances to a molecule.
However, when exporting the VMD scene to an .stl the original coordinates and scale of the system is lost. Is there any way to keep those when saving the mesh file?
I came across a post in the VMD-L mailing list stating that "In order to do that
an retain the coordinate system of the original molecule, you would also
need to set the molecule's view/rotate/centering transformation matrices
to identity before exporting.", but I have no idea of how to achieve this.

We as the reserach department of a medium size Berlin University
have to report monthly on the publication activities of our 35 faculty members
Most of us already have a Research Gate Account - an we plan to encourage everyone to establish an own account
While I can see my own stats - by month - in detail in my RG Profile
Ich can find the Profiles my faculty collegueas by name but see some stats of them as well
However I have not found an option to export them (i.a. as .pdf or better .csv) in order to serve as base data for our monthly reporting.
Can anyone suggest a solution
how to digitalize our publication reporting based on reserach gate?

I'm looking for a batch processing method for Jasco interval data files (.jwb) to an open format such as ASCII (.csv or .txt) or JCAMP-DX (.dx). Jasco SpectraManager allows for individual jwb files to be manually exported to csv or txt. This is cumbersome when you produce many hundreds of 3D-scans.
I'm aware of a few options which will batch convert Jasco 2D jws files, but none of these support jwb file extensions.
anything similar out there for the jwb's?

My dependent variable is log(exports) and my independent variable is log(aid per capita). I have an interaction term between log(aid) and Foreign direct Investment inflows (net inflows, % GDP). I am unsure of interpretation of a marginal effects plot for a fixed effects model with FDI held at below average (-30%), average (5%) and above average (40%).

I have attached the results I get.
Would I be correct in saying that a 1% increase in aid leads to a 0.12% fall in exports, holding FDI constant at 5%???

I'm experiencing an issue regarding surface roughness calculation and I could use some help in troubleshooting.
Here's what I've done so far:
- I measured surface roughness using an optical profilometer and saved the data in .opd format, which is compatible with Wyko vision software.
- I opened this file in Wyko vision software and received readings of Ra=193.98 nm and Rq=301.48 nm.
- I then exported the data from the .opd file to ASCII format to use in Matlab. I applied the standard formulas for calculating Ra and Rq in Matlab. However, the results I got didn't match the readings I initially obtained from Wyko vision software.
This leads me to a couple of doubts:
a) Are the coordinate data provided by the Wyko vision software in ASCII format for Ra and Rq calculations the actual raw data, or has it been processed in some way by the software before the calculations are performed?
I'd appreciate any guidance on this issue, specifically on understanding the data processing done by Wyko software and how I can ensure my Matlab script is accurately calculating the roughness parameters.
