Answer
In recent years, in the country in which I operate, there are many startups operating in new ICT information technologies, in the use of Industry 4.0 technology and engineering technologies for the production of components and prefabricates, etc. In addition, many startups are also created in the field of e-commerce, selling various products via the Internet, and providing new information services on smartphones. And in which sectors, branches of the economy and / or fields of economic activity are many startups established in your country?
Please reply,
Thank you,

A reference enterprise model ontology is an explicit specification of conceptualization relevant to a reference enterprise model.
Relevant answer
Answer
There are multiple sources of direct and indirect information on and suggested structures for creating an enterprise ontology to use as a basis for enterprise modelling.
These sources include:
• Business process management frameworks
• Enterprise architecture models, tools and frameworks
• Previous projects and initiatives in the area of enterprise modelling
• Other ontologies
These subjects are all concerned to some degrees with modelling of the enterprise or elements of it, creating some form of abstract representation of the enterprise, describing its structure and functions and their interoperation, processes, information, technology and other resources types and elements.
They are all concerned with understanding the enterprise or elements of it with a view to and improving its operation and performance. These models generally focus on the areas of business structures (including people and locations), business processes and information technology (including data, applications and technical infrastructure). T
here is no one answer or one definitive statement of what an enterprise ontology should consist of. I would suggest an initial quick review of the sample sources of information listed below and the many others I have not listed but which are just as good or even better to understand what work has been done and what can be reused to create a composite and hybrid ontology.
Business Process Management Frameworks
APQC (American Productivity and Quality Center) PCF (Process Classification Framework) contains a generic process breakdown to allow work processes be defined consistently - https://www.apqc.org/process-performance-management/process-frameworks.
The Business Process Framework (eTOM)/ Frameworx mentioned below also contains a detailed process framework. Although focussed on telecommunication utilities, it can easily be applied elsewhere.
Enterprise Architecture Models, Tools And Frameworks
This is an old and partial list I created some time ago. Many of these contain an explicit or implicit enterprise ontology, albeit focussed on information technology.

We use the ConceptBase system for analysing larger networks, e.g. enterprise models. Many queries rely on the transitive closure of some relations. If the graph has many loops (i.e. bi.directional transitive relations), then the DATALOG engine of ConceptBase gets to its knees.
Are there algorithms or heuristics known that deal specifically with this case? The DATALOG engine of ConceptBase does use tabling, i.e. it computes one fact only once. Still, graphs with many links pose a challenge.
Any hint is welcome!

Answer
Since ConceptBase has its own Datalog-neg engine (based on tabling), the background of my question is to improve the performance for large graphs. My (naive) idea is that connected components of a graph could be precomputed and then be collapsed to a single virtual node when computing the transitive closure: each outside connection of the virtual node applies to all members when using the transitive closure of a relation. The problem is that the computation of the connected component itself is costly.

I’m studying “Factors Influencing Adopters' Trust in Cloud Computing Services in Organizations.”
Which appropriate adoption model must be used in this study?
The responses to this study are from the decision-makers in the organizations and the IT staff.
What is the appropriate adoption model that must be used in this study?

What is appropriate adoption model must use in my study?
Premature for me to recommend which model but following are some suggestions on the thought process how to choose one:
  1. Find out the subtle differences between the TAM, TOE, UTAUT etc models from the perspectives of models evolution, suitability for what conditions / circumstances, popularity, ease of use etc.
  2. Review literature on precedent articles / PhD theses' model that best match your current study's objective(s) & relevant to your research problem.
  3. When you'd decided a select particular model and discarded other models, please write down all the points to justify each selection / de-selections (better prepare now rather than waiting for article reviewers / thesis examiners to ask later).
  4. While reviewing your literature, also evaluate what kind of research methods like survey questionnaire for each construct, sampling, data collection, data analysis methods being selected etc. (so that you don't revisit again purposely for these requirements).
  5. Also justify how you are going to structure your respondents e.g. decision makers & IT staff are playing different roles & might think differently e.g. are you going to combine them, separate them & analyze their responses separately, what happen when both groups have conflicting views etc.

I am working on "Adoption of enterprise applications by public sector offices". The such adoption cannot be merely determined by individuals; rather by higher authorities. When it comes to Sri Lankan context, relevant Ministries should decide upon this.
Which adoption model will best serve this purpose? TOE or any other?
Relevant answer
Answer
TAM et al largely focus on individual intention to use technology. I don't think they are really appropriate for organizational adoption situations.

I am doing research on virtual enterprise (VE). VE is a form of collaboration among small and medium sized organisations to compete in the market place. If you are interested to collaborate then we can progress faster.
Relevant answer
Answer
Virtual Enterprise is a collaborative platform through which small organisations can share their resources, risks, rewards in win-win situations for their survival in turbulent market condition. What should be the ideal form of association which will tolerate continuous joining and leaving of members (flexible structure)? Is there any natural phenomenon that resembles virtual enterprise?

The desire to grow entrepreneurial society in Nigeria has led governments, international development organizations and multinational enterprises to undertake enterprise development programmes, especially in areas generally flagged as entrepreneurially inactive. After over 10 years of intervention, it is time to take stock and measure impact. Is there any best practice in this line of research you can suggest?
