What are the determinants of the development of vocational education, training of people working professionally and e-learning?
In my opinion, education, including adult education, university and vocational training, will develop mainly due to the fact that the economies of individual countries are changing faster and changing, the structure and meaning of particular sectors, branches and fields of activity in national economies, in In highly developed countries, industrial branches of the economy are transferred to countries with lower labor costs, in developed countries information, IT and ICT technologies are intensively developing, as well as Internet information services, etc.
As a result, labor markets are changing, new branches of services are emerging, new vocational professions are created in the field of Internet information services and advanced data processing in information systems.
People are increasingly changing their jobs and profession. A small part of the society throughout their lives work in one company, in one profession, in one area of the host activity, in one profession. People are increasingly moving towards faster and faster changing national economies, changing jobs, businesses, cities, etc.
Therefore, people have to retrain and become more and more educated. Increasingly, adults use training and post-graduate studies to obtain a new profession, a new profession and a new interesting job.
On the other hand, universities and schools of continuing education and vocational education adapt their educational offers to the changing labor market, to the changing demand of employees employed in specific companies, at specific positions. Universities and schools, observing the rapid development of Internet information services, create study and training offers conducted via the Internet in the e-learning system. It is a convenient form of training for people primarily adults, working and often living outside a large urban agglomeration, in another city, town, village, etc., than a university city.
Do you agree with my opinion?
In view of the above, I am asking you the following question:
What are the determinants of the development of vocational education, training of people working professionally and e-learning?
I invite you to discussion and scientific cooperation
xAPI is the new e-learning specification to outsmart SCORM. Any recommendation on undertaking Data privacy assessment?
In the period March-May 2020, in many countries due to the development of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic causing Covid-19 disease, a significant part of didactic processes have been converted into e-learning form. Therefore, there is now a rapid increase in the use of ICT, Internet technologies and certain Industry 4.0 technologies in the application of teaching processes in a remote form via the Internet. Due to the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic, in order to limit the development of the pandemic, full-time teaching activities at schools and colleges have now been suspended and replaced by e-learning in many countries. Due to the suspension of stationary didactic classes in schools and colleges, classes are conducted remotely, through various new online media through specific forms of e-learning. The growing importance and development of e-learning is also correlated with the current acceleration of the digitization processes of the economy.
Therefore, teachers are looking for answers to the following research questions:
- How will the current state of the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic affect learning outcomes?
- To what extent can modern ICT information technologies implemented in the teaching processes effectively replace traditional, stationary teaching processes?
- How long can schools and universities last for only in e-learning form?
- To what extent the use of ICT, Internet and Industry 4.0 information technologies for teaching processes enabled continuation of education during the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic?
- What are currently used applications and e-learning platforms through which online real-time teaching classes are conducted remotely via the Internet? ZOOM, Google Meet, Microsoft Teems, ... or other?
The purpose of answering these questions will be continued research for many months, i.e. also after the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic has expired, because a similar pandemic cannot be ruled out in the future. Therefore, the above questions should be answered and education systems better prepared for such an eventuality.

The Internet has been developing only for 3 decades becoming the main global information medium and the environment for creating new types of websites and innovative, technological startups that are successful in business if they offer attractive information services. Examples of companies that initially as startups and now as large technology companies have achieved spectacular business successes are corporations offering Internet information and marketing services in the environment of created and developed social media portals.
Currently, there are many, at least several dozen globally operating social media portals, several of which have gained a large, minimum percentage or larger share in the market of information and marketing internet services. Globally, these markets are dominated by several social media portals that have specialized in a specific profile of information and / or information offered to a particular segment of Internet users. Social media portals dominating globally include: Facebook, Instagram, Tweeter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest and others. Among the Internet users, the largest segment of the recipients of information services for social media portals are young people, many of whom are still students of primary and secondary schools as well as students studying at universities. As a result, social media portals used as a communication medium by students are increasingly becoming an instrument supporting the learning process.
Due to the above, the dynamic development of social media portals on the Internet is currently underway. For young people using smartphones, social media portals are one of the main sources of information. Probably the next stage in the development of social media portals will be the implementation of artificial intelligence to these portals and to search engines and the creation of applications of the type of interactive advisors on individual Internet information pages. New technologies of computerized, advanced information processing, technologies typical for the current fourth technological revolution, known as Industry 4.0, are increasingly integrating and functioning in the Internet environment.
The current technological revolution, known as Industry 4.0, is determined by the development of the following technologies of advanced information processing: Big Data database technologies, cloud computing, machine learning, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, Business Intelligence and other advanced data mining technologies. These technologies are successively implemented to developed social media portals. Due to the development of applications of these advanced information processing technologies, new types of computerized teaching instruments are created in educational processes, and educational systems also undergo technological transformation and Education 4.0 is defined.
Do you agree with my opinion on this matter?
Therefore, I am asking you the following questions:
- Does the development of social media portals affect educational processes in schools and universities?
- How will education change in the future due to the development of smart social media portals?
- How can this development affect education, pedagogy and education in the future?
I invite you to the discussion
Thank you very much

What are the biggest and most important challenges of switching from traditional to electronic? How can these challenges be faced in light of the current crisis?
The issue of social separation, isolation, and the procedures that depend on it to close institutions and prohibit roaming in many countries are among the most manifestations of the stage of confronting the new Coronavirus, and this has imposed a different reality on our societies. We must strive to improve our chances of benefiting from it so that we do not return to us. After the emergence of the cloud Corona, with severe health, psychological, and social effects.
Among the most prominent files that need to be dealt with at this stage are those related to our students whose universities or schools were closed indefinitely.
Despite the importance of this sudden transformation at a time when a global pandemic is spreading in most of the countries of the world, and to control it, most countries of the world adopted the policy of social distances, which forced everyone to move to work and distance learning techniques, but this sudden transformation of an educational system that students and parents have not been trained on It can lead to many challenges and problems. Students, their parents, and their teachers may become frustrated, anxious, anxious, and fearful of failure ..., which leads to more psychological stress on our already debilitated mental health.
During the quarantine period, many universities were forced to take exams online, so what is the best method and what is the appropriate program that provides security of information and also ensures that no cheating is taken in the exam by the student?
In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, what teaching tools/platforms do you find more useful to teach students remotely?
Many thanks in advance for your replies!
I am right now conducting a study at Stockholm University about how E-learning tools could play a significant role in the thesis writing process for students at University level.
I have created an online survey supposed to be answered by individuals who are studying, or have studied at University level. So, if you fit the criteria I would highly appreciate your collaboration!
The survey will be available through the link below. Furthermore, the survey only takes 3 minutes to finish.

I live and study in Vienna, Austria. You know Austria is a wealthy and developed country, and Vienna is well-known for high standards and quality of living and it has been on the top of the list of the most livable cities in the world.
However, the coverage area of Eduroam wifi network is very limited here, and the speed of connection is too low. The coverage area is in some cases even smaller than the university buildings and campuses. For instance, in many parts of the AKH (the largest hospital in Austria and the main academic hospital used by the University of Vienna) or parts of buildings of TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology) the Eduroam wifi signals is very slow or even not existing at all.
It is really a shame and disappointing fact for me as a PhD candidate in Vienna that I can't really count on Eduroam and I'm always dependent on other internet providers to connect to the internet and do my research.
How well does the Eduroam wifi network cover and function at your university, city or country in general? Would you share your experience? How could such problems be solved?
is it a good way to develop a model for e-learning system for higher education system using QFD ( Quality Function Deployment). please provide your suggestion?
I am currentliy Developing my subject for my graduation work (M.A. E-Learning and Media Education).
At the moment I am mostly interested in looking whether and how the live-streaming platform "twitch.tv" can be effectively used to provide education in any way, form and context.
The subject has to specified though, but the decision to work on this subject mostly depends on the question whether there are some researches and/or scientific works regarding this thematic field. My recent searches didn't provide the best results, which is why I am now trying to ask you guys for a little help or some hints.
Maybe there is someone out there, who already did some research in this thematic field and can name some important frame works, researches and articles to read or at least good websites/search engines to search for resources. Any advice and suggestion will help me.
Sorry for my not so perfect English, but I am from Germany. So german or english literature will be the easiest to work with for me.
Any questions? Feel free to ask me!
Thanks in advance.
How can we choose an e-learning platform that meets the norms and standards as they are acknowledged in distance education devices?
Dr. Mohammed Ouadoud
The last years we are working with serveral data sets that contain emotion measurements on different levels (self-report, facial action coding, eye tracking, physiological data like heart rate and skin conductance, lexical and sentiment analysis of texts).
We do not naively believe that the components of emotions match all the time or over longer or shorter time spans. But stil we search for correspondences between different emotional components.
Our aim is to measure and to integrate emotions in technology based learning designs.
Are there new ideas how to bring different components of emotions together?
What's about micro emotions, peak values, long or short term patterns; how can they help to identify correspondences?
As we defined OVAREP, the e-learning platform is a computing device that groups several tools and ensures the educational conduits. Across dedicated platforms to the ODL (Open and distance learning), all conduits are preserved and expanded for the learner, tutor, administrator, etc. within the e-learning platform.
Thereby, the tools offered by these platforms enable tutors and learners to communicate individually or collectively and discuss themes and shared documents.
The learner is invited to consult on the course, to realize the homework, to follow its development, and to receive self-generated feedback or feedback given by the tutor. In this environment, the learner exchanges his knowledge, his remarks and contributions (production or document) with other learners to self-evaluate and transmit his work to a teacher, whether it is individually or collectively.

More than half of world's population does not have reliable access to the Internet. At the same time, educational resources are more multimedia-based than ever (bandwidth) and often hosted on centralised cloud-based platforms requiring a good Internet connection.
Inability to use online education in underconnected regions is particularly prominent in the case of MOOCs, where some researchers argue it may lead to even further global digital divide.
Are you aware of research or cases of making online educational materials/courses (e.g. MOOCs) available in underconnected areas?
When I hit the adaptive learning or knowledge assessment systems in my google search , thousands of results appear. This is making me overwhelmed and confused at the same time. As I don't know which one is the best or most efficient. Can anyone please tell what is the best software or tool available for adaptive learning (knowledge assessment) ? And why is it best?
As we all know, the main objective of e-learning is to enhance teaching and learning by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and modern tools. E-learning intervention into educational system could enhance student learning outcomes, where learners can cooperate and get freedom to obtain and exchange knowledge. So I want to understand and know more about the factors that can make e-learning more effective especially on students' achievement and performance. (any suggestion on current studies that focus on the effectiveness of e-learning intervention in secondary school)

Advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) made implementation of virtual classroom possible. The advantage of this approach is that a good teacher can simultaneously be made visible to many geographically distributed student communities. Can we consider this to be one of the variants of e-learning?
Clearly there are a wide range of online environments. In this case, I am referring to online learning environments developed by educational institutions with the aim of engaging students in practice or simply expanding students time on task.
