Answer
Creating a successful film or television show is a monumental task that begins long before the cameras start rolling. A well-executed script breakdown can mean the difference between a production that runs smoothly and one that’s plagued by costly oversights and last-minute scrambles. In essence, a script breakdown is a blueprint for the shoot, detailing every element needed, from cast and props to locations and special effects.

Documentaries are considered to be "about real life", truthful, factual, but manipulations are involved on every step of filmmaking. Perception and ideology of filmmaker is an important factor. I wish to know if any previous studies are done in this field?
I will be much obliged for your help. Kindly guide me.

I'm doing my PhD research on Pakistani documentary film and TV. According to my findings only women filmmakers from Pakistan have received funding from Western sources. I would like to know if there are any male Pakistani filmmakers who have received funding/support from the western sources?
Relevant answer
Answer
I think there is a good chance Canadian funding has been provided to diaspora Pakistani filmmakers.  (Although the Oscar winner is female, there is a good chance she wasn't the only Pakistani Canadian to receive funding.  Check the past grant recipients of Telefilm Canada, or National Film Board doc projects.  You might network this question to http://www.cbc.ca/independentproducers/diversecreators, and the Mosaic South Asian International Film Festival, https://www.facebook.com/mosaicfilmfest/ .  Also you could check with the provincial arts funders like the Alberta Foundation for the arts.  A useful overview of cdn sources is here: http://www.omdc.on.ca/Assets/Research/Research+Reports/Documentary+Organization+of+Canada/Philantropy_Report-EN.pdf  I hope your research is successful, especially since you are apparently at Grierson's Alma Matter.

Hi - I've heard of  some documentary character portraits of children where any child who courted the camera was automatically ruled out. These production teams / directors were only interested in children who had no a priori interest in the filming process. The production team’s calculation was that if a subject wants to be filmed, s/he is already trying to ‘sell’ some version of themselves which could make it harder to connect with the individual’s deeper motives or more authentic impulses away from the camera. Does anyone have references to these films / directors?
This process also implies questions about ‘authenticity’ and ‘performativity’ (Bruzzi 2006) and turns on the extent to which the camera catalyses events or reflects what unfolds in the world and has a resonance with this enquiry, but I'm most interested in references to the films themselves. Anyone in London on May 6th & interested in this area, could book onto this event/screening of my current film.

I am interested in investigating spine kinematics in Rugby Union players during scrums (simulated and live scrums) by using video for photogrammetric processing. I am now looking for 4-6 cameras that can be synchronised, have enough resolution and sampling rate to not blur and that are not too expensive (budget: approx. 1500 Australian dollars, or ~1200 USD). Measurements will take place outdoors.
Can anyone help me with this issue?
Thanks very much in advance for any help!

Zarzycka, M. (2012) ‘Madonna’s of Warfare, Angels of Poverty: Cutting through Press Photographs Photographies 5 (1): 71-85.
I have recently finished a study on intergenerational breastfeeding, where participants brought artefacts to interviews, and I am going to do some SR stuff around motherhood but not written up yet. Also, I have a small section in a chapter I am drafting up for a forthcoming book that looks briefly at SR and visual images, get in touch if you would me to send this
