What types of pro-environmental and/or pro-climate economic ventures are being carried out in your country as part of green entrepreneurship?
What kind of pro-environmental and/or pro-climate economic ventures are being carried out in your country that represent the development of green entrepreneurship?
What kind of pro-environmental and/or pro-climate economic ventures are carried out by citizens that represent green entrepreneurship development?
Are these, for example, innovative solutions implemented in the construction of small-scale, backyard electricity and/or heat generating power plants using renewable and emission-free energy sources?
Are they eco-innovations improving waste separation and recycling technologies? Or are they green technologies facilitating the capture of rainwater, which is then used for household purposes, agriculture, watering home gardens, etc.?
Or are they other kinds of eco-innovations, green technologies that contribute to green entrepreneurship?

What is the role of local government units in terms of activating entrepreneurship and innovation, in terms of developing cooperation with local business, supporting the development of cooperation and clusters of companies cooperating with other entities, stimulating economic development in the municipal area, in the region?
In the context of the forecast decline in the economic activity of companies and enterprises in the coming quarters, the projected downturn in the national and regional economy, the decline in production and investment, the increase in unemployment and the current economic problems associated with high inflation, the importance of activating entrepreneurship and innovation of economic entities is growing. Within the framework of the interventionist, anti-crisis, Keynesian socio-economic policy, the government and central government agencies carry out programmes to activate entrepreneurship and innovativeness of economic entities, including companies and enterprises of the SME sector using specific financial instruments of fiscal, budgetary, sectoral policies, etc. On the other hand, a particularly important role in the activation of entrepreneurship and innovativeness of business entities of the SME sector operating in the area of the local economy of the municipality is also played by local government units. Local self-governments play an important role in terms of activating entrepreneurship and innovation, in terms of developing cooperation with local business, supporting the development of cooperation and clusters of companies cooperating with other entities, stimulating economic development in the area of the municipality, in the region. Effectively and efficiently conducted by local governments in this regard can significantly reduce the scale of downturn development in the local economy. When many units of local self-government efficiently activate economic processes, entrepreneurship and innovativeness, then the whole national economy goes through an economic crisis, recession, downturn more smoothly. As a result, the scale of the increase in unemployment and economic downturn is lower.
What do you think about this subject?

Activation of entrepreneurship and innovation is essential for effective socio-economic development of the national economy.
Failure in entrepreneurship in the context of entire markets, sectors, the whole society, the entire economy is a negative effect of taking risks in the situation of starting a business and running a business.
This is the price of few, spectacular business successes. Therefore, it should not be reduced due to the existence of investment risk. Investment risk should be examined, analyzed, measured and hedged, for example, in the form of maintaining established, estimated financial provisions for the situation of potential loss of financial liquidity. An entrepreneur should take risks, accept a certain level of investment risk, measured and hedged risk.
Entrepreneurship should be supported by both public sector institutions and through private investment funds that finance the development of innovative startups. In modern knowledge-based economies, the state through central and through local government public institutions should support the development of entrepreneurship and innovation.
In view of the above, the current question is: Should the state support the development of entrepreneurship and innovation?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
What types of eco-innovation are being developed in your country?
What kind of ecological innovations should be developed in your opinion?
How should they be finansed, whether by the industry from commercial enterprises funds, or by the state from public funds or in the framework of public-private partnership?
What types of renewable energy sources should be refined and developed through new eco-friendly innovations? What kind of scientific research dominate in the field of ecological innovations?

Can the activation of innovation and entrepreneurship be an important factor in defending the domestic economy against the forecasted, progressive slowdown in economic growth in the global economy in 2019?
Does the activation of economic processes through the development of pro-development innovation policy programs, activation of innovation and entrepreneurship can be an important factor in defending the national economy against a progressive slowdown in economic growth in the global economy and against the risk of a recession in the domestic economy that could occur through cross-border trade and international capital flows?
The importance of this question is important especially for countries with an open economy with a large share of cross-border trade and the growing share of globalization processes. In addition, this question is valid in the context of the projected slowdown in economic growth in many countries in 2019.
In view of the above, I am asking you the following question:
Can the activation of innovation and entrepreneurship be an important factor in defending the domestic economy against the forecasted, progressive slowdown in economic growth in the global economy in 2019?

Academic incubators of innovation and entrepreneurship are developed at universities to support innovation and entrepreneurship of students. Incubators are also a supplement to the educational program in the field of activating the innovation and entrepreneurship of students. Incubators sometimes also perform functions or cooperate with a career office for students. Career offices collect employment offers and organize internships for students through cooperation with companies and institutions that employ or give practice to students.
Sometimes academic incubators of innovation and entrepreneurship also cooperate with various institutions and companies in which students find employment or take apprenticeships. In addition, academic incubators of innovation and entrepreneurship, cooperating with various institutions and companies, enable the establishment of clusters of innovation, in which various economic entities, public institutions, scientific institutes and universities cooperate with each other. In this way, the possibilities of entrepreneurship development and generation of innovative solutions in assumed and developed research projects and startups are increasing.
Sometimes, also with the innovation cluster or business incubator, financial institutions cooperate, primarily banks offering financial support in the form of preferential loans for developing innovative startups. However, at the early stage of the establishment of business activity by students and organizations, the most important role is provided by substantive support in the field of advising on the formal and legal issues and accounting service of the university, lecturers and employees of the academic entrepreneurship incubator.
Do you agree with my opinion on this matter?
In view of the above, I am asking you the following question:
What is the role of academic business incubators?

Locally operating business entities should be promoted by chambers of commerce.
Entrepreneurship and innovation should be supported by central and local government units of public administration.
In addition, investment funds should co-finance innovative investment projects characterized by a high level of innovation.
However, in the education system, the issue of promoting local entrepreneurship of innovation may be taken into account, indicating the high level of significance of this issue for the economic development of the local self-government economy as well as in the context of the national economy.
In view of the above, the current question is: How to support and activate innovation and entrepreneurship?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
In your opinion, what are the most effective instruments for activating innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of economic activity?
What are the instruments used to activate innovation and entrepreneurship in the scope of a regional or national socio-economic policy pursued in your country?

Does the emergence of new technologies create new market niches for the development of innovative startups?
The development of new technologies creating market niches for the development of innovative startups
Currently, businesses and startups are being developed in many innovative, technological fields of business. Many of these rapidly developing ventures base their business development on new technologies, product, technological, process innovations, management, etc. Many startups develop their business projects trying to diagnose and use new market niches that also appear in connection with the development of new technologies, in including information technology, internet etc.
(The continuation of these considerations can be found in the comments below).
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.

Many researchers give credit of authorship of TOE Framework to:
Tornatsky, L. and Fleischer, M. (1990) The Process of Technology Innovation, Lexington, MA, Lexington Books
But few other researchers claim Tornatsky and Fleischer were the editors and the correct reference is:
DePietro, R., Wiarda, E., and Fleisher, M. (1990) "The context for change: Organization, technology and environment" The processes of technological innovation, in Tornatzky, L. G. and Fleischer, M. (eds.), Lexington Books: Massachusetts, U.S. A. p.151–175.
Pls let me know correct reference.

It has been over a year since global lockdowns began hampering development in a multitude of sectors and industries. Let's start a discussion and hopefully, learn from each other! Could you tell me:
1. Where you're from;
2. Your areas of research;
3. How your research was before the pandemic;
4. How the conduct of research has changed over the past year or so;
5. Any benefits that arose from the experience;
6. Lessons learned.
If in many research works, for the purposes of conducted scientific research, the analysis of information collected in Big Data database systems is already used, more and more attempts will be made by various research centers to use data processing in the cloud data collected in Big Data database systems. The data mining technology, artificial intelligence, business intelligence and other advanced information and analytical technologies will also be added to this.

According to statistical data, on average 1 startup per 10 achieves spectacular success and develops dynamically for a minimum period of several years. 2-3 somehow manage, but without major successes, and the remaining 7 after a year or two years end their activities for various reasons. This statistic may differ slightly between regions and countries depending on external financing assistance programs, organizational support from business incubators, etc. However, a small part of opened startups has been functioning for more than 2 years and has achieved great success in the scope of offer development, business run, participation in the acquired markets, the sale of a specific offer of innovative products or services and achieves financial success, which provides development opportunities.
In view of the above, what are the key success factors for the development of innovative startups? Is the idea for an innovative product or service the most important? Is the innovative technology on the basis of which new products or services are manufactured? Are convenient sources of external financing? Is a well-connected team of founders of a startup? Is a convenient tax system supporting the development of small entrepreneurship and innovation? Are also other factors?

* Are drones following the e-Auto industry technological trajectory or it is following its own?
* Will drones diffuse faster than electrical vehicles?
* Will it depend on the application?, What about delivery of medical supplies?
Any recommendation to calculate time to dominant design emergence?
First drone development dates back to 1917. Why just about a century later this technology starts booming?
Does it has do to with the related enabling technologies?
Technology adoption rates amongst small-scale farmers in the Global South (e.g. Africa) remain low, even when scientific evidence shows that a particular technology is beneficial.
As we know the main problem with innovation is how much an idea can be develop to invention and then to innovation. So many invention cannot develop to innovation is called "death valley" of innovation. In industry, these phenomenon is reduce by using many type of innovation management, like Cooper's Stage-Gate system. But in government/public research agency, research usually done in project link to fiscal year budget, so it will be difficult to turn back or halt the project, and increasing probability of falling into 'death valley' of innovation. Is there any way to reduce this effect?
Are open innovations in the scope of free information services the main factor of business success of the largest online technology companies, which include such concerns as Google and social media portals like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tweeter, LinkedIn and others?
The open innovations developed on the Internet concern, among others, free information and marketing services. The issue of the possibility of publishing certain content, texts, banners, comments, etc. on the Internet and free information gathering are the key determinants of the development of information services on the Internet. On the other hand, the largest online technology corporations receive revenues mainly from paid marketing services. The Internet environment is therefore a kind of a mix of free and paid information and marketing services, which simultaneously, simultaneously and simultaneously in a mutually connected way are developed by various Internet companies. Currently, research is conducted on the analysis of the development of open innovations in the scope of free information services, which are the main factor of business success of the largest technology companies in the world, which include such companies as Google and social media portals like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tweeter, LinkedIn and others.

Hello!
Hope everyone is doing alright during these turbulent and uncertain times.
I am working on my masters dissertation (MSc International Management) and would like to answer the research question of "how adaptable are frugal health care systems in developed markets?" (such as U.S.). I am really stuck as I cannot get hold of any experts to interview and data/literature is limited, as I have found so far. Does anyone have an idea of how I could tackle the methodology or has any tips on where to get data from in this area.
P.S. : Would not mind changing the angle on research question in order to make finding data/literature easier.
Many thanks in advance, feel free to contact me, if you have further questions.

I am a DBA student and my research is a qualitative case study on Digital Marketing Strategies of SME leaders in Nigeria. I am considering a Diffusion of Innovation theory as a framework. I was advised by my mentor to find a theory and identify a model within the theory to use. Is that the structure for a theoretical or conceptual framework?
Creativity is often closely related to innovation.
Creativity is an important factor generating new solutions, eg technological, new technical, product, process innovations, etc.
Education processes should develop the need and creativity of pupils so that later on these people become innovators and entrepreneurs who organize innovative startups.
In view of the above, I am asking:
How to develop creativity and innovation of pupils and students?

The studies carried out by different scholars show that, in both Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), innovation processes, in their scientific and technological context, are ineffective. Therefore, it is difficult to create an appropriate environment for the development of new and better products and services in such a way that the whole helps the social and economic growth of these countries (de la Torre, 2014; Lederman et.al. 2014, CAF, 2013, World Bank, 2014). Despite some scholars describe the problem as systemic, is Wicked Problem (Rittel, 1973) an adequate framework to formulate these difficulties?

Currently, higher education plays an important role in developing entrepreneurship among students. However, there are various didactic methods, thanks to which the entrepreneurship among students is stimulated and improved. What didactic methods are used to stimulate and develop entrepreneurship among students is conditioned by many factors related to the type, organization and functioning of a specific university, prevailing in the country standards of the teaching and higher education system, developed and implemented educational programs and financial resources, as well as a system of financial support for the development of innovative start-ups and other business ventures set up by students, the specificity of functioning and development of university incubators and accelerators of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Once you have the idea for an innovative startup, what are the barriers to setting up and developing innovative startups? Are these limited by the source of external financing? Is there no institutional support from the state? Is this related to the significance scale of the issue of activating entrepreneurship and innovation as an important part of pro-development economic policy?
Most startups after 1 - 2 years of functioning cease to function or announce financial bankruptcy and fall out of the market on which they operate. What are the main determinants that lead to this? Are they just wrong strategic decisions of the management of these business entities or other factors?

I am collating case studies of externally-developed (i.e. outside the target market country), pro-social (designed to enhance social welfare: e.g. health, sanitation, education, empowerment etc) technological innovations successfully diffusing in markets commonly termed bottom of the pyramid, low income, developing and emerging economies. I am especially interested in case studies that adopt a business model perspective. Many thanks for your recommendations.
Dear Experts and Members,
I am looking for the research work conducted on online B2B travel solution systems. Besides I need input on how Diffusion of Innovation and Adoption of Innovation can be used in a research intended on the above mentioned topic. Firstly, in this study I am looking forward to examine how an online B2B travel solution system organization diffuses this solution system to the travel agencies; secondly how the travel agencies adopt these solution systems. Would need suggestions on the theories, models, and frameworks that could be used to examine diffusion of innovation and adoption of innovation.
I look forward to your opinions and feedback. In case if you need further clarity regarding my query please feel free to ask.
Creativity is linked to innovation and is essential for the development of knowledge-based economies. Creativity can also be a source of rationalizing improvements in production processes, but also, for example, it can be a source of artistry in art. It is a necessary condition for the creation of both works of art and various types of innovations, including innovations that build new categories of added value in technological processes and products. Currently, due to the progressive global warming, the importance of ecological innovations increases, so the development of innovation and creativity is still needed, eg in the field of creating new technological solutions in the field of renewable energy, improving waste segregation, creating biodegradable substitutes for plastic materials and degraded reclamation environment.
In addition, creativity to a certain extent, smaller or larger, may apply to all of us. Of course, discoverers, artists, inventors, etc. are usually characterized by a high level of creativity and the ability to generate innovative solutions. However, in everyday life every person tries to be creative, it is one of human characteristics. Thanks to creativity, civilization progress is realized, various inventions are created, new types of products and services, spectacular works of art, new concepts, new trends in art, culture and science. Creativity is a necessary condition for progress and has a long history.
In view of the above, I would like to ask you: The role of creativity and innovation in human life and development of civilization?

I need a reference to the results of the latest research on the link between innovation and technology on productivity and economic growth, either industrial level or country level. Do you know the research with the theme above that uses simultaneous equation models? Thank you
Server theories are to used in developing the proposed model namely, Theory of Planned Behavior, Diffusion of Innovation Theory and Institutional Theory.
Please educate me regarding the appropriateness of these theories for the above research.
A model is to be proposed based several social theories such as Theory of Reasoned Action, Theory of Planned Behavior and Diffusion of Innovation Theory.
Innovation itself is not easy to measure but innovation in research, implementation and investment projects is measured instrumentally. The simplest method in the absence of advanced measurement models is the development of a scoring system based on the diagnosed determinants of innovation, for which point scales are created. In this way, innovation, i.e. a qualitative concept, acquires a quantitative dimension and can be quantified. The indicated quantitative dimension can be used to evaluate innovation as a subject of the transaction and a key factor of production in innovative startups and technology companies in which research works are carried out and new innovative technological, process, product and other solutions are created.

Are there research and development programs in your countries for cooperation between territorial self-governments and enterprises to activate entrepreneurship and innovation of business entities?
In recent years, cooperation programs of territorial self-governments with enterprises have been developed in some countries to activate entrepreneurship and innovativeness of business entities.
Because in developed countries information, innovations, new technologies and entrepreneurship are considered as one of the most important factors of the country's economic development and, as a consequence, also economic growth measured, for example, by the Gross Domestic Product in subsequent years.
In addition, research and research and implementation works are conducted in these themes, which further underline the high level of significance of innovation, new technologies and entrepreneurship in contemporary national economies.
In connection with the above, I would like to ask you the following question: Are there research and development programs in your countries for cooperation between territorial self-governments and enterprises to activate entrepreneurship and innovation of business entities?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
I'm studying "digital business management" and looking for a topic for my master thesis in the field of "innovation-marketing" and the effects of it on the success of innovations.
In modern, developed economies, various systems of activating the innovativeness of enterprises are created. Funds from public budgets are earmarked for this purpose as well as some enterprises allocate some of their financial surpluses to research and development activities in order to create new innovative technologies. This activity is subject to investment risk of failure to achieve the intended implementation goals. In view of the above, what factors should be taken into account to develop an effective innovation activation policy as part of the state's technological policy? On the other hand, what determinants should be taken into account when formulating effective innovation activation strategies when creating or supporting the development of innovative startups?
We are considering the construct of innovation performance for a cross-sectional study. In this regard, I have only of Wang and Ahmad (2004)'s instrument for measurement purpose.
Is there any other reliable and renowned instruments of innovation performance that could be used in publications?
The context of our research study is on the intersections of learning, HR dynamics, and innovation. So you may suggest any construct of innovation varying from process and product innovation dimension to the capabilities of innovation dimension.

I would like to classify the technology adoption profile of doctors based on Rogers' diffusion of Innovation Model. Which instrument would you use to classify them according to their technology adoption profile?
Dear all,
I am investigating the differences in characteristics between the technology adopter segments (innovator, early adopter, early majority, late majority, laggards) in mobile payment.
At the moment, my plan is to see how they differ in terms of demographic characteristics (age, education level, income level), personal innovativeness, risk propensity, and social influence.
Is there any other relevant characteristic that I should be looking into? Would also appreciate if one can also suggest related journal articles.
Am browsing through the literature, but I just want to keep my ground covered by extending this question to academics here.
Best regards,
Haidhar
From the outcome of my survey, I am required to group the respondents based on the Diffusion of Innovation theory, which will place my respondents into different categories.
I am not sure how to achieve this. Currently I am at the early stage of conducting my research.
Would appreciate if anyone can shed light on this.
Thanks
Can Diffusion Of Innovation Theory use to explain the intention to adopt innovation from a non-adopter perspective?
In doing a PhD research to show how education context adopting computer assisted language learning can we use Diffusion innovation theory to show how far English teachers adopt and use CALL and in the same study use TAM model to show how context accept this technology? some said that they are the same and will show the same results ! as they are both change model or rational choice !
How to justify the use of both?
is there any study use both?
Thanks
According to the CBAM, if you want to study how actually an innovation is implemented, and if you want to depict the variation of the implementation, the best way is to use the IC-map (Innovation Configuration Map). In my case, the creators of an innovation did not develop the related IC map. Also, due to various limitations, my study will not be designed along the action-based research approaches. Thus, there is no way I will involve the designers of an innovation to develop the IC-Map.
That notwithstanding, the Curriculum (the innovation in this case) that I want to examine has well specified things that the teachers “should” be doing.
What I have decided is to do the following:
1. I want to develop a list of such things and then see if they are adhered or not. It will be a CHECKLIST in this sense
2. I will be observing different teachers to see HOW many of such THINGS they do per each component
3. I will conduct analysis and develop profiles of innovation users (teachers) based on the frequency and cluster of those THINGS/ACTIONS.
Do you think this will be a good alternative approach?
Dear researchers: I would like know about papers related with diffusion the innovation from an epidemiologic perspective. Would you recommend me papers?. Thank you.
In the razor and blade market, a new technology is usually incompatible with old technologies. For example, Gillette introduced Fusion technology in 2006 and Fusion is incompatible with Mach and Quattro. Given the incompatibility, what are the factors affecting consumers' upgrading decisions? My understanding is there are three factors: quality improvement, costs (prices) and the inventory of unused blades. And also, does the incompatibility deter the consumers to upgrade to the new technology?
Hello Everyone,
For my PhD questionnaire, I am looking for any ideas for scale development on innovation resistance related to automotive industry. Why consumers resistant the innovations in automotive industry with special reference to passenger cars.
If you know any literature related to the scales in the above mentioned topic, please attach it.
Thank you.

Hi Professors, I am conducting a research about adoption of mobile technologies in Palestinian schools from teachers' perspectives. I focused on tablet PCs as a specific type of mobile technologies because this innovation (tablet PCs) is going on in Palestinian schools. I know there are a lot of models and theories about identifying factors that influence adoption process. Some of these are UTAUT and Roger's theory (Diffusion of Innovation). Which one is the best. My data collection instrument is semi-structured interview and weekly lesson plan.
Thank you
I am analyzing how a particular type of technology can be applied on large-scale events but have no ground to operate on. Can I create a survey for ~10 experts based on diffusion factors? With which methods could I interpret the results of such survey? Could this be a basis for a future discussion? What do you think? Would be very grateful for any help.
The research (my Master's thesis) looks to identify major drivers for acceptance of the wearable technlogy (most probably simple wristbands) among attendees of large-scale events. I want to analyze what do technology vendors, event organizers and users/attendees themselves think about it, which functions would they need in such a wearable and what qualities are the most important for them.
I already look into the Diffusion of Innovation theory, and I was also advised to study user experience design. I would appreciate any recommendations directing to particular fields of research, authors or papers.
The M-Pesa model demonstrates the beneficial impacts to society (government, firms and households) through reduced costs for financial intermediation, improved efficiencies in service delivery to the bottom of the pyramid, the productivity implications, the security benefits of going cashless, efficiencies in tax collection and the facilitation in spurring related innovations.

Despite the overwhelming success in Kenya, similar successes has not been translated in other overseas jurisdictions. What are the barriers to successful diffusion in other jurisdictions ? Is the lack of success due to the resistance of the incumbent banking sector, the conservatism of the regulators, the different local cultures, the density / ubiquity of the smart phone penetration ?
I just co-organized a discussion session at the 8th EAAE - Fooddynamicsforum (http://www.fooddynamics.org/) on this topic and we would be interested in getting more views on this topic:
a) How should a network be structured in order to facilitate innovation and knowledge exchange of (food) SMEs?
b) Which methods could be applied to enrich our understanding of SMEs' needs for innovation and knowledge exchange?
Everybody who is interested in contributing to this hot topic is welcome to add an answer and/or to contact me.
I would like to know if you have used this model to investigate the possibility that a new technology would be adopted in an educational setting - and what did you find? I believe the model is quite useful as a framework, but that the content needs to be adapted ....
I'm looking for a model that combines adopter perceptions, intentions, economic issues and possibly beliefs. Behavioral model (e.g. TPB or TRA) could be of use but they deal with the construct ATTITUDE other than PERCEPTION. Diffusion of innovations by Rogers is descriptive at best and so does not guide how perceptions can be used to predict behavioral change. I'm thinking of bringing the two models together but I am not sure if something of that sort (or closer) exist out there.
More than ever, in times of crisis (but not only) is required to find solutions to "move things"! In these circumstances innovation is an example given by those who studying business.
I would be glad to find out more examples. Thank you in advance!
Rogers Theory of Technology Diffusion which first emerged in the 1960's explains that the diffusion of technology through cultures was dependent on four key factors ie the nature of the innovation, the communication channels, the nature of the social system (or network) and time. Is this model relevant to the diffusion of software application innovations built on mobile smartphone platforms in emerging market
We intend to classify our academics in regarding to their adoption of Microsoft Office 365. Therefore, we selected Innovation Diffusion Theory (Rogers, E.M., The Diffusion of Innovations, 4th Edition, Free Press, New York, NY, 1995.) as a study framework. So, we would like to adopt ready-made instrument (survey) for classification. Shall anyone help me finding studies that include such instrument?
Based on a large corpus of literature (e.g. Edgar M. Hoover, Frank Giarratani, Erik Dahmen, Stan Czamanski to name just a few), we can argue that industrial cluster is an a-spatial (a-territorial) phenomenon. Yet there are as many publications that prove the opposite. What do you think? Please provide your own judgment.
My main argument in my thesis is that innovation do take place in SMEs in developing economy especially sub Sahara Africa. But the question is how do they innovate?
Can I be guided to literature to establish that the nature of innovation in developing country is different from portrayal in the West/mainstream innovation literature?
