I am interested in developing a survey to distribute among pediatric physicians, neurologists, teachers to collect data regarding the awareness of developmental coordination disorder in Israel. I would appreciate a "jumping-off" point via using a tool developed in other countries/cultures that I would then adapt to be suitable for the Israeli culture.

Is anyone currently investigating the Mirror Neuron System in participants with Dyspraxia?  I'm an MSc student - an entry-level researcher - proposing to do so for a 10,000 word dissertation this year.
Relevant answer
Answer
It does make sense. Okay, so it is visual-spatial. Well,  what about doing a sketch or copy of a drawing. If you look up papers by Chris Miall, he has two papers on drawing and motor timing I think. Although it does not state mirror neurons, I think it does test components of mirror neurons and you can draw it. Ask them to replicate the drawing or to trace it.

However I feel there is more and more pressure to concentrate on participation at the expense of exercises. Any one know of any relevant research?
