Questions related to Czech Republic
Hi to everyone.
For a study, I am interested to know the price of a RBC unit in Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic.
In Italy the price is estabilished by law and is the same throughout the national territory (188 €). This rate is used to exchange units between hospitals.
Thank you
Ivo

The research will include three employees from the campaign development department of the AI Cz (campaign specialist, campaign coordinator, campaign manager) and two people from the social media management department of the AI Cz (social media manager, digital specialist).
Thank you for your help in advance.
Land use limits are a legislatively defined part of spatial planning tools in the Czech Republic. Is there a similar mechanism in other countries, please? Eventualy, is it available in English (either in the form of a handbook or an article)? My aim is to evaluate the link between land use limits in spatial planning and ecosystem services. Thank you.
I have to find out what software and operating systems are used in education. More into lower education than in high and in different countries (USA, Australia, Great Britain, Germany, France, Scandinavia, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and other mostly European countries). Do you have some idea where can I find such statistical data?
Currently, I am trying to compare the environmental impact of electricity mixes in Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Italy. For this, I need to know the country-specific impact (Global Warming Potential) of each energy source (for the entire life cycle). Not average values by IPCC. Can anybody advise any reliable source where I can find this information and that can be accessed without any license?

Hello. I´m searching for university campuses all around the "east" part of the Europe, which were built in totalitarianism. Can anyone suggest valuable university campuses from the postcommunist countries, like Romania, or for istance Czech republic? My main research interest is focused on sustainable multifunctional component of the city urbanized area. Method of the doctoral thesis is based on research by design applied on main university campus of Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.

"E-learning and Smart Learning Environment for Preparing the Specialists of New Generation".
Ecosociety, the knowledge society, the digital society are transforming into an intelligent society. It is built on "smart" work, which is done by "intelligent" government and business representatives, based on "intelligent" infrastructure and "intelligent" citizens, playing a key role in creating intelligent culture. In addition, the priority is the development of such industries as smart transport, smart health, smart energy, smart food, etc., which will eventually lead to the creation of a smart world. SMARTs will play a special role in the preparation of new-generation specialists, in which e-learning and personalized learning will have priority positions.
In an intelligent society, technologies, previously based on information and knowledge, are transformed into technologies based on interaction, cooperation, exchange of experiences - smart technologies.
Citizens, new generation specialists, turn their activities into "intelligent" and implement innovative changes in management strategies. This means that society needs more creative and open thinking, so that human dignity, based on flexibility and originality, is a priority. The most important issue is the training of staff with creative, creative potential, able to work and think in the new world.

Medical student, working with the Microbiology dept. on a retrospective study of Leptospirosis in a few regions of the Czech Republic and would like to know if anyone would be interested to collaborate on a comparative study?
Currently in the initial stage of compiling all the positives from 2010-2018 PCR and Serology results.

A research hypothesis:
- In the Czech Republic, speeding enforcement is low as well as sanctions; therefore drivers are often speeding.
- But when Czech drivers cross the border, for example to Austria or Germany, the risk of enforcement and sanctions becomes higher so they may adapt their driving and thus drive "safer" than in the Czech Republic.
- And the opposite may hold for foreign drivers entering the Czech Republic (and becoming less safe drivers).
Is anybody aware of any research/papers/results related to these hypotheses? Thanks!
Hi! I would like to conduct a research related to my master's thesis about mental health self-care in Czech adult population. Since there is a lack of such research in the Czech Republic, I would be thankful for any ideas regarding this topic. My objective is to assess if and how much people care about their mental health and if they have enough information about this topic. Thank you!
It is really interesting project. I will definitely read your updates. I see, you are already 7 people, but if you need any other person, please let me know. I am Ph. D. student from the Czech Republic, Brno University of Technology. I am focused on Cranial implants.
This is not a question but an informative message about ASF in wild boars in the Czech Republic! The first wild boar positive for ASF was found in Moravia, near the town of Zlín (it was in Monday, 26th June). To date, 17 dead boars were found - 4 were positive, 3 were negative and the results of other boars are expected. The crisis commission is now intensively working on the eradication program, which will then be approved by the European Commission. Later, I will keep you informed about the development of ASF in the Czech Republic.
I am not sure whether the concept of nonprofit capacity is strongly related to that of nonprofit sustainability. But if so, my recent paper dealing with nonprofit sustainability might prove useful: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/280315948_Sustainability_of_Rural_Nonprofit_Organizations_Czech_Republic_and_Beyond?ev=prf_pub
My approach would be to conceptualize nonprofit capacity as the intersection of what economists call "demand-side" and "supply-side" determinants. Does that make sense?
Calling all botanists from Eastern Europe or Asia! Are you affiliated with or know of a botanical garden or natural area that may have Lythrum virgatum (European wand loosestrife)? I'd be interested in contacting them to see if they can send me some seeds. (I have already tried several major germplasm databases as well as a call through BGCI and have found lots of L. salicaria (purple loosestrife) but no L. virgatum.)
I'm including a link to the best description for distinguishing L. virgatum from L. salicaria.
I have some data from a previous project on efficiency of municipal WM costs in the Czech Republic (2008, 2010 - 2013), part of which I have recently published.
I am interested in collecting similar data in EU countries (especially in Post-communist countries) for the purpose of comparing efficiency and factors of efficiency of municipal waste management relative to public finance (municipal cost) across Europe. I am looking for researchers with an interest in this area and who will be willing to collect data in their locale, contribute to the analyses and interpretation, and collaborate with me in publishing of the results (as co-author).
In the Czech Republic Forest Management Forensic Experts commonly use orthophotomaps, aerial photography products, accessible online. Satellite images usage is rare in their practice. I have not found any mention of Forensic Experts using the nowadays tools to gain mensurational variables from remote sensing data. In that case we are able to obtain data which are describing the stand that was already cut down.
A group of historians from the Poland and Germany would like to invite humanists from the Czech Republic and Lithuania, to participate in the HERA (“Humanities in the European Research Area”) program entitled “Uses of the Past – Matchmaking Event.” We offer the following project idea: “What do we know about our neighboring society/countries, what do our neighboring society/countries know about us? A study on the relationship between neighboring society/countries in Europe in the early modern, modern and contemporary historical periods.” If you are interested, please feel free to contact:

We need to examine non conductive specimens (cement pastes, mortars etc.) using Electron microscopy and EDS analyses. They are mostly porous and crumbled, so it needs to impregnate it by epoxy resin. But this is almost non conductive and in SEM causes problems as charging.
One way is Au sputtering, but it heavily reduce the X-ray signal for EDS-WEDS for reliable quantitative elementary analysis. The second way it is application of electrically conductive resin.
Has anyone some tip and idea where I can buy it? Thank you very much for any good suggestion.
Lubos Kopecký, FCE-CTU Prague, Czech Republic
I am particularly looking at the Visegrad countries of Central Europe.
I need varieties and dialects of the Czech and Slovak languages. Is there any list of these differences (varieties and dialects)?
