I am currently studying toward my doctorate in computing and technology, and my research borders on Security, privacy and trust in IoT.
I am leaning towards the use of a decentralized model (Blockchain) as a solution to IoT, and aim to focus on Security and privacy.
At this moment, I cant seem to find a unique problem to address in this area that can lead to the award of a PhD.
Please I will really like someone to point me in the right direction regarding current identified problems, research gaps, and the landscape.
I am open to ideas, and I am willing to collaborate with other researchers in this regard.

In reference to this objective, I would like to get opinions from you on what type defects/failures/issues that you encounter with present life cycle assesment softwares such as Oneclick LCA, SimaPro and OpenLCA etc.

The edge detection takes a wide interest in the field of digital image processing and computer vision, which is one of the basic stages in the process of patterns recognition and image segmentation. In Digital image processing, a set of methods and algorithms are applied on data of digital images in order to obtain some basic information that can be used in a particular application such as image enhancement, image segmentation , edge detection and others. The image processing algorithms have been updated as a result of the development in computer technologies such as processing speed and ease of computer acquisition in addition to the development of cameras. Digital images consist a set of elements (pixels) formed as a two-dimensional matrix the edge is a narrow area produced between two different regions in the values of brightness or difference between object and background. Edges detection methods have most important in the processing of digital images, which is a key stage in the distinction of patterns. Most edge detection methods high pass filter pass the image and mathematical convolution between filter and image.

What is the role of teaching students drawing and observation in architecture schools today?
Is computer design inhibiting or limiting creativity? Do students, possibly under time pressure or lack of interest, appear willing to accept the computer program's decision versus their original idea?
Is there any data available showing the number of NAAB accredited schools that require drawing courses and/or proof of these skills in architecture?
With technological advances the way students learn and what they learn is changing - as is their creative solutions to completing tasks. I have read that Cost parameter is independent of kernel used and depends on training data. After performing parameter selection for RBF, I get the best combination of 'c' and Gamma 'g'. So can I use the same 'c' for Polynomial kernel and identify a good degree 'd' ? Or can I do better if I start a fresh grid search for 'c' and 'd' ?
