One of them asked Einstein what do you think of World War III? The answer was, I do not know, but I think World War IV will be with sticks and stones.
This smart answer from a great scientist of Einstein's weight has very serious connotations.
It can be understood that the end of World War III will be the world's annihilation and the destruction of the planet by using nuclear weapons to begin life again as primitive as it was at the beginning of time.

For thirty years, the Russian Federation has not applied “soft power” to Ukraine, limiting itself to gas discounts and top-level agreements with the oligarchs. Now it takes thirty years of daily effort to rectify the situation.
Why make this effort? To prevent the West from destroying Russia with a vulgar military strike. After all, this is what NATO has been preparing for in recent years. Expanded. The missiles are almost at the Russian borders. And we woke up when they were going to bring the knife to our very throat.
The special operation provoked by the West in Ukraine is a warm-up, preparation for the Third World War. And the Anglo-Saxons are planning to unleash this big war in Europe, hoping to sit out over the seas and oceans, supplying weapons from there and counting the profits. Therefore, so feverishly, in a hurry, Germany and the EU are being formatted into the Fourth Reich.
Russophobia raging in Europe is an operation to dehumanize Europeans before a large-scale war. In the same way, through anti-Semitism, the Nazis taught the Germans to kill.
We have been observing similar practices in Ukraine for many years. Now, following Ukraine, they are trying to turn almost all of Europe into Anti-Russia. How it ended for Ukraine, we see. At one time, the Anglo-Saxons managed to send Hitler to fight to the east. They clearly do not consider the current Germans smarter than Hitler.
The beneficiary of the war in Europe will be the entire Anglo-Saxon world. So they hope. But in the nuclear world, everyone loses in the end. Unless China has a chance to sit out on a hill watching the river.
The special operation is often compared to the Soviet-Finnish war. And they compare correctly. The special operation is the improvement of Russia's strategic position in the face of the almost inevitable Third World War.
On the eve of the war with Hitler, we pushed back the borders with the help of the Soviet-Finnish war and the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. Now everything is repeating itself. We need to push back hostile borders again. For this, the denazification of Ukraine is being carried out. But without the neutralization of Ukrainian nationalism, the results of any military operation, any agreements concluded will always be in question.
To leave Ukraine in the orbit of Russian civilization, there are, relatively speaking, two ways:
1. Russian
2. American.
The Russian way is the Pereyaslav Rada and reunification. There is no place to discuss unification technologies here, but in the end Russia will get access to the western borders of Ukraine, will be able to place military bases and missile units in the Lviv region. Thus, we will get the best positions in case of NATO aggression.
The American way is the maximum demilitarization of the partner country, control of the media, elites, deployment of military bases. And at the same time, the suppression of local nationalism and its refocusing on geopolitical opponents. The implementation of this method will also allow you to get missile positions almost in the center of Europe, so as not to blunder if it still rumbles.
The main thing is not to take your knee off the tiger's neck. Any "Minsk-3", even on the most wonderful conditions, if it provides for the complete withdrawal of Russian troops, will inevitably end in the victory of Ukrainian nationalists and a new war with them.
This will be a betrayal of the memory of all our fighters who died and, alas, will die during the special operation.

What are the most serious problems of civilization development that should be solved as soon as possible? What are the global problems for which research should be developed and solutions to these problems resolved in 2019 and in subsequent years?
One of such research problems, which should not be postponed for an indefinite future, is the need to develop environment-friendly sustainable economic development in order to slow down the adverse process of global warming.
With the warming of the Earth's climate, the risk of more dramatic climate cataclysms, including tsunamis, increases.
Tsunami may be a derivative of the global warming problem. Global warming generates an increase in climate disasters, including more cases of tsunamis.
But not only is the risk of more violent and more dramatic tsunamis rising. Also in recent years, there has been more other types of climate and natural climate catatics, such as droughts, rainstorms, tornadoes and weather anomalies.
At present, it should no longer be asked whether global warming generates an increase in natural disasters only what rate of growth will be recorded in the future? So many data, research centers confirms the progressing process of global warming, that the problem is unquestionable.
More and more data points to the growing risk of climate change, unfavorable for human and life on the Earth, increase of climate disasters, climatic and weather anomalies, which are the result of global warming, rising average annual temperature near the Earth's surface.
Now we should just ask: How can these adverse processes be counteracted? What ecological technologies, renewable energy sources, how to help natural environments, how to rebuild them, such as afforestation, to build natural ecosystems absorbing greenhouse gases?
How to develop ecological business ventures? How to create financing systems for this type of pro-ecological projects? How to dispel international cooperation in this matter? What actions should be taken to move towards the development of a new ecological green economy?
How to develop environmentally sustainable economic development to slow down the unfavorable warming of the Earth's climate?

China is experiencing a “national movement” as companies, regional governments and academia shift gears to help the country meet its climate goals. The world’s top carbon emitter has, for the first time, published plans broadly outlining how it might achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2060, and a peak of emissions before 2030 — promises it made in 2019. The move has spurred more than ten prominent universities and institutions to set up carbon-neutrality-research institutes already this year; the Chinese Academy of Sciences launched a centre last month. But some researchers are still disappointed with the climate commitments the country has made so far...

Recently, discussions have been held in the public debate on issues related to the development of the green economy concept, the need to introduce pro-ecological policy reforms, etc. to make it possible to achieve globally sustainable pro-ecological economic development in the perspective of the next years.
In the context of the problem of determining determinants of sustainable pro-ecological economic development, the following question also appears:
How should the new economy be developed in accordance with the green economy concept in the field of renewable energy development by means of which instruments and reforms of green energy policy, so that it is possible to achieve globally sustainable pro-ecological economic development in the perspective of the next years?
How effective green economy philosophy should be developed in a pro-environmental energy policy in order to solve key development problems of human civilization, ie environmental pollution, effective and quick to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thus slow down the global warming process , activation of the development of electromobility, development of modern non-emitting harmful waste to the environment, renewable energy sources, development of organic agricultural production, development of biodegradable packaging production, etc. with the use of electricity produced from renewable energy sources?
Therefore, I am asking you the following questions:
How should pro-ecological energy policy be developed according to the green economy concept in the field of renewable energy development?
How should programs for the development of renewable energy sources be financed?
Should the state co-finance, within public-private partnerships with public funds, large investment projects for the construction of power plants producing electricity based on modern technologies of renewable energy sources?

What technologies, currently considered surrealistic and possibly achievable in the future, could revolutionize technological progress and could solve key global problems of humanity?
For example, imagine if nuclear fusion technology was developed at a nuclear power plant, in which nuclear material would neutralize toxic waste in this way.
Or if power plants were built, in which hydrogen would be burned in oxygen in a controlled way and in this way electricity would be produced and the whole power plant would be built in the formula of a new generation steam engine, with water vapor arising in the process of the said hydrogen combustion in oxygen.
If it were possible, this type of technological solutions currently considered surreal and unreal could solve global problems being a derivative of the increase in greenhouse gas emissions, the ever-accelerating process of global warming and the growing demand for electricity.
What proposals do you have, surrealistic concepts for the surreal technologies of the future?

''Education and communication are vitally important in order to impress each individual of his or her responsibility regarding the healthy future of the Earth. The best way for students to recognize that their action can make a difference is to have projects organized by the school or community on which the students can work. Once convinced that they can help, people tend to change both their attitude and their behavior. New attitudes towards the environment will be reflected in decisions at home and in corporate boardrooms around the world.''

When the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic expires, what key problems in the development of civilization will become the priority for solving them as soon as possible? What major global problems should be addressed now, apart from the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic? Probably thanks to the efficiently conducted programs of vaccination of citizens against the Coronavirus, the problem of the pandemic should gradually decrease from the middle of this year 2021. Perhaps thanks to the vaccination of the majority of citizens, a high level of social, collective immunity will be achieved. Perhaps in the fall of 2021 the scale of the pandemic will drop to such a low level that no lockouts will be introduced on selected sectors and branches of the economy. When the current health crisis caused by the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic is resolved, what problems in the development of civilization in the 21st century should become the key to solving them as soon as possible? When the pandemic health crisis is resolved, what global problems of humanity and planet Earth in the 21st century should science address? Is the growing risk of the climate crisis, which may appear as early as the end of the 21st century as a result of the continued emission of greenhouse gases, which are the source of the ongoing global warming process, the greatest threat to the biosphere of planet Earth and to humans? Is it crucial to achieve global climate neutrality by 2050? Will the key problems include reducing the level of environmental pollution, improving waste management, improving waste segregation and recycling techniques, reducing the scale of extinction of flora and fauna species, protecting pollinating insects, improving drinking water saving systems, developing renewable energy sources, developing sustainable ecological agriculture , development of electromobility and improvement of technology of engines powered by hydrogen combustion with oxygen using in land, sea and air transport, improvement of systems of protection of forests against fires and agricultural fields against drought and aridosis, protection of forests and green areas against devastation and logging, development of programs afforestation of civilization degraded areas? Can increasing the efficiency of solving global problems be achieved through the use of constantly developed and improved technology of artificial intelligence? Can the solution to some of the global problems of mankind be achieved through the development of space exploration technology? Let me ask the following two questions:
  • Is there a lack of interpretability and transparency related to this virus?
  • Did we reach a state with this pandemic that is hard to control and monitor?
Furthermore, this discussion thread raises other three rational questions:
  • Is COVID-19 one of nature's secretions or it has been fabricated in the laboratories of one or more countries?
  • Are vaccines, especially for COVID-19, one of the "big businesses"?
  • Do you think that the pandemic has its "Cyclical Apparition"?

Has the classic economy lost its relevance to the energy market and therefore whether the process of necessary proecological reforms in the energy sector involving the replacement of energy sources, ie classic energy sources based on burning minerals for renewable energy sources should be coordinated by the state as a pro-environmental interventionist anti-crisis state?
Still at the end of the 21th century, in many publications written in the convention of classical economics, theses were formulated that energy should be shaped by the mechanism of market-harmonizing sides of demand and supply. However, this philosophy concerned classic energy based on the combustion of minerals. Mineral energy deposits in certain parts of the world are determined for several decades of extraction.
If the development of mining technology allows to reach and extract energy from deeper deposits than currently exploited and decks located under the sea and ocean bottoms, such estimated deposits would allow mining of these deposits in some places of the world for much longer than 100 years. However, humanity can not wait so much for pro-ecological reforms in the energy sector and the slow process of switching to renewable energy sources, which is happening in some countries, including the largest economies in the world, the largest emitters of greenhouse gases.
Currently, the philosophy of the energy sector is starting to change. Now the obvious issue is the need to quickly implement pro-ecological reforms without contemplating the depleted energy resources of the Earth's crust. This wait could take about 100 years or more than 100 years in many countries and this is too long, because at the end of the 21st century, according to climate change analysis, drastic climatic catastrophes will occur due to the predicted acceleration of the global warming process in the following decades.
According to the published and presented results of climatologists' research during the recent UN Climate Summits and Conferences on the problem of progressing global warming process, unless by 2030 at the latest the world will not show the classic energy based on the burning of minerals for renewable energy sources and motorization for electromobility and there will be no appropriate improvement of segregation waste and recycling, by the end of the 21st century, the average temperature at the Earth's surface will increase by 3-4 degrees Celsius globally, and the scale of climate cataclysms and weather anomalies will increase many times in relation to the current state.
In view of the above, the world can no longer wait for the depletion of energy minerals. This issue, which is particularly important for humanity and life on Earth, can not be left to the market mechanism and classical economy, whose philosophy has long been undermined, already in the period of the Great Depression of 1929-1934 it was demonstrated that Keynsovian state interventionism is needed to bring the economy out of the deep economic crisis if the liberalized private sector led to a crisis and the economy quickly does not return itself to balance and high economic growth on the basis of self-acting market mechanisms.
We currently have a similar situation. The world inevitably aims at increasing climatic cataclysms caused by the accelerating global warming process. these unfavorable processes for humanity and life on Earth will become a source of intensification of migration of people from subtropical areas, on which it will be impossible to live and live in a few dozen years due to high temperatures and droughts. In addition, there will be economic crises resulting from the global warming process. Humanity has no time to put off the necessary pro-ecological reforms for the future, these pro-ecological reforms in the energy sector need to be implemented now and it should be a process coordinated by the state in the context of pro-environmental anti-crisis state interference.
Do you agree with my opinion on this matter?
In view of the above, I am asking you the following question:
Has the classic economy lost its relevance to the energy market and therefore whether the process of necessary proecological reforms in the energy sector involving the replacement of energy sources, ie classic energy sources based on burning minerals for renewable energy sources should be coordinated by the state as a pro-environmental interventionist anti-crisis state?

The current technological revolution known as Industry 4.0 is motivated by the development of the following factors:
- Big Data database technologies,
- cloud computing,
- machine learning,
- Internet of Things,
- artificial intelligence.
On the basis of the development of the new technological solutions mentioned in recent years, the processes of innovatively organized analyzes of large collections of information collected in Big Data database systems dynamically develop.
What other technological improvements, innovative organizational, technical and IT solutions will be developed in the future based on the development of the above-mentioned factors?
What kinds of innovations will be able to be created in the coming years, in the future based on the integration of the above-mentioned main determinants of the development of the current technological revolution known as Industry 4.0?

In my opinion, scientific research is the most important source of emerging innovations, new technological solutions and improvements in production processes that contribute to civilization development and technological progress, and also constitute an important source of added value of production processes in the economies of developed countries in knowledge-based economies. In the future, research should play a particularly important role in knowledge-based economies. For example, research should generate innovative ecological and new renewable energy solutions in the future to reduce adverse climate change resulting from a progressive global warming process.
In view of the above, I would like to ask you: Can research be considered as the most important factor generating technological value added in knowledge-based economies?

Question

Will waste segregation, recycling and ecological innovations solve one of the biggest civilization problems of the 21st century, which are rapidly growing landfills?
The problem of garbage appeared in the history of the development of civilization relatively late, because only in the nineteenth century, when the first industrial wastes, including petroleum plastics, began to appear.
Previously, it was dominated by the almost complete biodegradation of waste and the recycling of secondary raw materials.
The problem of growing waste heaps and landfills of unsorted municipal waste gradually grew in the 20th century with the development of industry.
The development of the industry was not burdened with almost any costs of environmental protection, cleaning up degraded environment, recovery of recyclable materials from waste.
Proecological concepts of industrial development, waste segregation and recycling have emerged and are practiced on a larger scale mainly in developed, richer countries, because these countries usually produce the most waste but also have financial resources for pro-ecological activities, waste segregation and recycling.
Technological, ecological and material innovations should help in the future to reduce the growing landfills of unsorted municipal waste.
One of the key problems of growing garbage dumps is still plastic, which is not subject to rapid biodegradation.
One of the solutions introduced in some countries is, for example, replacing plastic cutlery and plates in cutlery restaurants and dishes made of rice, bran or other types of cereals.
In addition, the complete elimination of plastic bags used to pack different products on paper or other organic biodegradable materials.
Gradually more and more restrictive solutions will appear. A lot of pro-ecological actions in this matter have been inspired by the above-national rock in the European Union.
But this is just the beginning of this process. The question arises whether the emerging new technological solutions, including ecological innovations, will solve this growing problem?
Will this problem be solved only when pro-ecologic activity begins to be a profit-making activity and not one that needs to be paid for?
But even if the next new technological solutions in the field of substituting plastics with other biodegradable materials, the innovations of ecological innovations that improve the recycling and reclamation of fugitive environments, would gradually solve the problem of growing landfills of unsorted landfills, will a man in this technological progress manage this problem? solve in the XXI century?
Will there be enough time for that? In addition, in poor countries, slowly growing for many years, this will be a serious problem.
These countries are illegally transported un-sorted, unprotected, often very toxic wastes.
In recent years, organized criminal groups have been involved in the practice of smuggling toxic, unprotected waste from rich, highly developed countries covered by restrictions of expensive segregation and neutralization process, securing, proper storage of toxic, non-recultivated waste to poorer countries, not subjected to such high restrictions or in which environmental protection and internal security systems do not work well.
In addition, there is a growing problem of sinking this type of waste in the seas and oceans. This process generates a rapidly progressing process of pollution of sea water and fauna and flora living in the seas and oceans.
In view of the above, the current question remains: Will waste segregation, recycling and ecological innovations solve one of the biggest civilization problems of the 21st century, which are rapidly growing landfills?

Sunrises that occur usually every 11 years cause specific climate changes and weather anomalies on Earth. The effect of these solar suns is also the emerging effect of El Ninio in the oceans, changes and increasing the activity of water currents in the oceans.
Some research subjects of this issue relate the solstice of solar activity with human activity suggesting that in these years more dramatic political, economic and other events occurred.
On the other hand, paradoxically, in the last dozen or so years, the activity of Sun decreased. Despite the declining solar activity, the greenhouse effect on Earth is accelerating, and the ozone hole is expanding what can adversely affect human health and change natural ecosystems.

The mass extinction of pollinating insects, including bees, in recent years is particularly worrying. The extinction of pollinating insects over the last few decades is one of the significant problems of the decline in the biodiversity of natural ecosystems and generates a strong increase in the risk of a decline in the productivity of agricultural crops. In the future, the issue of decreasing numbers of pollinating insects and falling rainfall, more frequent droughts, falling soil moisture, and soil barrenness may significantly reduce the production of agricultural crops and problems with feeding people. This problem can be particularly acute in poor countries located in the tropical and subtropical climates.

Myth is the biggest obstacle among historians to formulate any kind of history, some believe that myth might have some truth or some falsity as well. Myth has been a powerful tool for civilizations and religions to expand and flourish, only after the scientific revival and renaissance, it was challenged by truth seekers under the realm of positivism. But still, we are lacking the depth of understanding for the 'myth' as a subject. In fact, myth is not a priory or even not an extended human morality but it has helped us in the creation of this modern world.

Answer
Myth exists everywhere.
Myths are stories that are based on tradition. Some may have factual origins, while others are completely fictional. But myths are more than mere stories and they serve a more profound purpose in ancient and modern cultures. Myths are sacred tales that explain the world and man's experience.

In the next few decades, will human civilization reach such a level of technological development that Mars should begin to grow plants and begin to colonize Mars by building specific stations and cosmic bases there?
In the light of the above, encouraging discussion, I turn to you with the following question: What technologies should be developed on Mars so that plants could be grown on Mars in the future?

All the conditions necessary for plant survival should be created in Mars.

There are distinct ape cultures that are kept alive by making the youngers imitate actions of olders. For example, a chimp mother shows a set of objects, nut, hammer and anvil stone. That is repeated often enough until the infant grasps that these things belong together. Later the mother shows how to open nuts for food. No language is required.
In spring last year, I watched a crow parent with newfound food in the presence of a begging young bird. The parent did not simply stuff the food into its child's beak, but flew a couple of meters away, so that the young one was able to follow. Then it concealed the food while the offspring was watching. Young crows learn this way to work for a living, collect and hide food, steal from other birds' caches, and that it makes a difference whether one is watched or not. A lot of concepts can be transferred without using language. If you like, you can consider a demonstrated sequence of actions a sentence.

Yes, it is necessary to change the development strategy based on intensifying the exploitation of the Earth's resources on the sustainable development strategy. It is necessary to develop new energy technologies based on renewable energy sources to slow down the progressing greenhouse effect of the Earth in order to reduce the risk of dramatic natural cataclysms. It is necessary to develop ecological innovations, while it may not be too late. It is necessary to save the Earth through destruction for future generations.
The 21st century is the last moment to introduce global sustainable development based on the development of renewable energy and ecological innovations. Sustainable development should be analyzed and measured in correlation with the analysis of economic growth and the share of individual sectors in the country's economic development, including the transformation of traditional energy sources into renewable energy, environment reclamation and recovery of recyclable materials, and ecological innovations.

Unfortunately, more and more data and research centers scientifically confirms that progressively progressing global warming has become a fact. First and foremost, human activity influences this. The impact of natural factors is significant, however, the progress of civilization, industrial development, greenhouse gas emissions in the past few decades has increased significantly and continues to grow. The biggest problem may be the inability to reverse this process even if all of the industry, energy and transport are now switching to renewable energy sources.
In view of the above, the current question is: Is it possible that man with the help of modern RES energy technology would stop the greenhouse effect on Earth?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.

I am sceptical about the role of whether humans have actually the power to control the greenhouse effect on Earth, since neither RES nor greenhouse gases are humankind creations. Of course -in the context of the future development of (human) civilization- the anthropocentric technologies (in general, no necessarily the RES-technologies), carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emissions, they can play a decisive role, but these actions are of definite power. The natural elements cycle and the environmental carrying capacity can be proven the most deterministic.

Hi there !
It's very difficult to find a short answer to such a question. But maybe I don't need to.
I would recommend you to look into the latest IPCC reports. While the new version of the main assessment report is only due in April 2021 (AR6 WGI: https://www.ipcc.ch/report/sixth-assessment-report-working-group-i/ ), there is already available plenty of available resources from the fifth assessment report https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar5/wg1/ and also from the special report on ocean and cryosphere (especially for the high mountain regions) and on the special report on 1.5° of warming ( https://www.ipcc.ch/sr15/ ).
What I find personally very interesting is how the monsoon systems will react to the impact of climate change. While during the holocene, both the Indian and African monsoon systems have decreased in intensity due to the impact of precession, it is not clear yet how they will evolved in a warmer climate.
I hope this helps, it is a lot to read, but the summary for policy makers can maybe already offer you the answer you're looking for. The complete reports are still very useful though !

Mathieu

Education is often seen as an important instrument for civilization and for the building of human capital for development. But there is also criticism. Bryan Kaplan has written a book called ‘The case against Education’ (2018) in which he states that the function of education is to signal good qualities of students and certify one’s intelligence and that it is not to enhance one’s skills. Is that what education really does? Are there other claims against education or are the pro’s much greater?
Are there other sources or books where claims are made against education?

I recently made a video attempting to answer precisely this question. Here is the link:
I hope you find it useful and that it sparks a few ideas! The video focuses on what I see as the four central problems of education:
- Hundreds of millions of children are going to school but not receiving even a basic education.
- Others get an education at the cost of the joy of childhood.
- Still others do not achieve their full potential for financial reasons.
- Education often fails to adapt to the needs of a changing world.
The video also cites a few resources which you may find helpful.
Overall, we have evolved as a species to the point where it is very difficult to imagine life without certain things. What would life be like without money, for example?
Education is like that. It is almost impossible to conceive of human society with *no* education. What would that even mean? Would children no longer learn the language of their parents, or how to boil an egg?! Education is so bound up with the socializing process, and the passing on of skills from one generation to another, that it is almost meaningless to think in terms of getting rid of it.
So we end up, not with "education" vs. "no education", but rather with "one kind of education" vs. "another kind of education". Even Caplan is writing, not against education as such, but against the current *system* of education.
I hope this helps!

Ancient Greek civilization gave the world a lot of excellent philosophers, whose concepts interwoven with invaluable thoughts about education.
(384-322 BC) raised the mentor to the highest level in society: He created the Likey educational institution in Athens, which he supervised over twelve years. The writings written by him during these years were summaries of conversations that the philosopher conducted with his students in Likey. A. believed that man possesses both a vegetable soul (it needs nutrition and is doomed to decomposition), an animal soul (feelings, sensations) and a rational soul - pure, ethereal, universal and immortal. Therefore, in matters of upbringing, he did not prioritize concern for the afterlife immortal being and insisted on taking equal care of all three types of the human soul.
The most systematic views of Aristotle on upbringing and education are set forth in the treatise Politics.
Considering the eternal problem of the relationship between social and biological determinants in education, Aristotle took a flexible position. He believed that on the one hand, "only good offspring can come from good parents," and on the other, "nature often strives for this, but cannot achieve this."
So nowadays is it actual ? or we must up bring students in high education system ?

I viewed Aryans as True indigenous people of India. One of the early name of India i.e.' Aryavart'was on the name of Aryans. But some anthropologists and social scientists take them as invaders of Indus valley civilization.
Relevant answer
Answer
it's very difficult to answer this question but when we discuss Indus civilization, we must consider that this civilization has root in chalcolithic period with specific vessels and motifs. with these evidence most archaeologists believe that the Indus civilizations invaded by Aryans although this belief is based on the falling Indus civilizations in the second millennium B.C and in the other hand some scientists believe that the climate change led to this falling. from the archaeology perspective i must say that the Indus valley civilizations in the bronze age based on vessels and motifs styles is very different from Aryans styles and we could say that the Aryans must come to India in somehow 2000 bc or earlier and maybe not as invaders but also as immigrants and the climate change helped them to defeat the indigenous or may be merged with them.

This question is different than that relating to articles about once accepted ideas that are no longer accepted.
The answer to this question about once derided ideas probably would generate a very long list of examples. The question shows one of the challenges for scientific researchers. On the one hand, adopting the wrong theory can be embarrassing and cause career damage. Those are considerations, among others, that promote skepticism. On the other hand, the advance of civilization depends in part on the ability of society to recognize scientific advances. One may suspect that there were, and still are, good ideas that would help society that have no audience yet. (I have a few ideas about scaling, dimension, networks, and cosmology, with an audience that probably ranges from slight to none.)
Here are a few examples of derided ideas. Ptolemy stated that the idea of the Earth turning on its axis was ridiculous; birds would fall out of the sky unable to keep up with the Earth’s rotation. Wegener initially got a poor reception for continents moving. Semmelweis encountered hostility from doctors for suggesting that antiseptic procedures following dissections would curtail maternal mortality in birthing. Do you have examples?

I’ll tell you about something that exists right now that no group of the smartest people in the world can figure out.
Neural network algorithms are a type of artificial intelligence used every day. Google uses advanced algorithms to give you top-notch search results. YouTube recommends videos to you using algorithms. Self-driving cars utilize insanely complex neural networks to recognize if a human is in their path or not, so they can stop in time. Quora even uses them to suggest the 10 most interesting questions to you in your daily Digest. Neural networks are all over, and they’re important.
However, nobody knows how they work.
Imagine a complex neural network that a programmer feeds a billion pictures of humans into, then a billion pictures of different cars into it (with the programmer explaining whether each picture is an image of a human or a car).
If this example sounds familiar, it probably is. Has Google recently asked you to identify pictures of road signs, cars, or streets for its reCAPTCHA, to make sure you’re not a bot? If so, you’ve become the programmer telling the algorithm the answer to the image. Coincidentally, Google is developing its own self-driving car right now, and you’ve become free labor for them to help train their algorithms. Fun, huh?
After feeding it billions of pictures, the algorithm gets pretty good at predicting whether any additional image is a car or a human. But, we have no idea what happens to the data after it enters the “black box”.
This is a representation of a neural network (it’s called a neural network because it vaguely resembles the brain’s neuron structure, another piece of biological ‘technology’ we have no idea how it works).
The circles represent “nodes” and the lines follow the data as it is inputted, stretched, contorted, bended, and finally outputted to the user. While we can figure out what single nodes do, and we can figure out what small clusters do, we have absolutely no idea how the data goes in one end and comes out the other end. Like, we just don’t.
Now, there’s a catch. If you want high interpretability (i.e., you MUST know how the data is manipulated from start to finish) you will have to stick to a relatively less complex, less reliable neural network. It might correctly identify a car vs. human 60% of the time, but at least you’ll know how it works.
On the other hand, you can have a super complex, super accurate (>99%) neural network, but you must sacrifice the knowledge of how your data is being handled. MIT professor Dimitris Bertsimas gave an interesting but lengthy on this if you care to take a look.
So, to answer your question: It’s already happened. We already have technology that we don’t understand, yet we still use it a ton in almost every single industry on earth (that should make you a little worried). And it’s only being used more and more. Hurrah for progress, I guess?

The concept of the finite universe or an universe limited in apace and time is due to the limitation of any epistemology based on causality for which there has to be a first cause of a beginning. Idealized mathematics promoted by the Platonists and the rationalists is the epitome of causality based epistemology and cosmology.
Albert Einstein adopted Platonic mathematical idealism in modern physics after the breakdown of causality with the discovery of the revolutionary quantum phenomena. But mathematics is helpless to deal with the concept of the Infinite as Cantor found out. Einstein’s theories of relativity, specially GR that is the basis of modern official cosmology, necessarily started with the presupposition that the universe must be finite; but this is a wishful thinking just for the convenience of his mathematical approach to epistemology and cosmology!
Einstein’s theories of relativity are invalid and have no place in an infinite universe. And the universe IS infinite! Please see the links below:
Recently, there has been calls in RG for medieval type Inquisition to deal with the growing number of scientists who doubt or even deny the validity of Einstein’s theories of relativity. The following forum is an example:

Does the development of smart city technology and ecological innovations, renewable energy sources, etc., ie the dissemination of sustainable pro-ecological development of cities and metropolises, facilitate the process of settling new environments in connection with the ongoing global warming process?
What kind of new environments did the people experience when fleeing from the drained continents? Coal is one of the major causes of dirty air, global warming and of climate change.
Globally, Air pollution contributes to the death of estimated 7 million people each year.
According to a Bulletin of the World Health Organization of year 2019, around 80% of air pollution in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, is due to burning of around 600000 tonnes of raw coal by households, during winter months as temperatures drops up to −40 °C here, and the, health and environment officer at the WHO Mongolia office quoted that “There is really no affordable alternative in terms of clean fuel”.
According to UNICEF, the respiratory infections have increased at a rate of 270% over the last 10 years there.
So people are already dying at places due to this accelerated anthropogenic climate change,
And it is unjust to migrate to another habitable place after abandoning the one already polluted by us.
So we must come up with the environmentally sound, sustainable solutions and policies to tackle these issues.

I have been well surprised by the great number of active Iraqi scientists in this network. I ask them to comment on this question.
I am extremely curious and congratulations by their resilience and endurance! If Greece gave us science, Iraqi gave us civilization!
Relevant answer
Answer
Iraqi scientists and academics are trying to communicate with the world's scientists by using their personal efforts, but we have difficulty in supporting our scientific research. The Iraqi scientists have great scientific ideas and capabilities, but the weakness of material support and the inability to publish in international journals stand in front of us.

Apparently it is already possible to produce in laboratory conditions photochemical systems capable of conducting processes of artificial photosynthesis?
Will the construction of photochemical systems capable of conducting processes of artificial photosynthesis reduce in the future the excessive emission of greenhouse gases and protect the Earth, natural ecosystems and humans against the growing cry of accelerating the global warning process and the potential negative effects of increasingly frequent climatic cataclysms?
Will man manage to build photochemical systems capable of conducting artificial photosynthesis processes on an industrial scale to buffer the negative effects of increasing greenhouse gas emissions and inhibit the global warming process?

Answer
It depends on what you mean by photosynthesis in this context. Do you mean the creation of more energetic molecules from less energetic ones and using them to make products like polymers and such like? Or do you you simply mean extracting energy from the solar input and converting it to something useful like electricity? We can do the second very well now; but the first probably won't scale up because in the end you are simply trying to redesign biological systems to make them "more efficient". But now you need to define what you mean by efficient and examine the ecological price of obtaining such an improvement. Since the input energy - sunlight - is free, it isn't clear why you want to do better than the existing biological mechanisms; any replacement would have to scale up to the same level of production and that will be an environmental nightmare as you may find the two systems are not compatible and you end up destroying the very ecosphere you set out trying to save.

In the modern world, dangerous and inhumane things happen on a daily basis. Various states, politicians, statesmen, public figures violate the norms of civilized behavior, they do not respect human rights and violate international law.
Would it be good for RG members through a debate to establish a sort of "Russell's court", (Tribunal), to evaluate and criticize the bad and intolerable actions of important subjects in the modern world.
Relevant answer
Answer
Dear Christopher Nock,
Dear Florian Glodeanu,
I thought that the attitude of the scientist should be some sort of moral assessment of a social phenomenon, and not be a kind of court case. I mentioned an example of the so-called. Russell's tribunal.
Because, a scientist must be a brave man. He must help the truth against the falsehood. The scientist must not be silent - he must speak.
It must have a critical view of the phenomenon in society. The scientist must not fall under the influence of the authorities. The scientist applies the rule: cogito ergo sum (I think, therefore, I exist). That is, I criticize, therefore, I exist. A scientist must not be a conformist. I mean, a scientist must show his scientific, professional attitude to social phenomena.
Regards.

I am looking for articles about the Indus civilization. There is one artifact that is of spesial interest. The artifact is the handmade bead. I am looking for articles that can enlighten me both about the production and the perpectives on the aesthetics of the neolithic age in the Indus Valley concerning beads in particular. The beads in the picture are claimed to be Indus Valley beads made during the neolithic age in the Indus Valley. These beads have been found west of Sahara and it is claimed that many such beads were made in the Indus Valles during the neolithic age and came to Africa more that 5000 years ago. It would be interesting to read research on this topic to see if it might support claims like this.
