3d-animation - Science method

by industrial Case studies i mean a full library with animation of different parts of mechanical equipments such as Motors, Conveyors, Pipes, Compressors...etc

I am working on blower geometry, to visualise the flow by smoke effectI have created a volume rendering and now started animation creation using time steps. But it's 12 hours past still the volume rendering calculation has not ended yet. Shall I stop waiting and stop the procedure ?

I am working on animation teaching strategy and would like to make my videos myself rather than outsourcing so as to save cost.

Kindly recommend any free app, software, etc pls.

I am using delft3D as a numerical model. I want to write a script in python that will create 3D animation like the attached file. It will be a great help for me if anyone shares the idea to me how it can be done.
