Drones can also identify drier regions in a field and measures can then be taken to irrigate such regions with better techniques. Precision agriculture provides farmers with such concrete information that enables them to take informed decisions and utilize their resources more efficiently. Kindly give your valuable suggestions....!!!

I am supervising a project aimed at developing an adaptive system for dynamic environmental monitoring in smart farming. I am seeking any available datasets suitable for analysis.

Strategies to save resources such as irrigation and N in the context of climate change: A simulation study was carried out to explore the possibility of efficient use of the resources such as irrigation water and N fertilizer for wheat crop in the context of climate change. Results revealed that in increased temperature scenarios, grain yield obtained from the application of 4 irrigations with 100 kg N ha-1 to wheat was at par with the yield obtained from 3 irrigations with 50 kg N ha-1. Thus, it is suggested that in increased temperature scenarios where the crop growing period is reduced by a week or so, it is possible to save valuable and important inputs such fertilizer N and irrigation water applied to wheat.

Farming would be very challenging in near future due to many factors; Climate change, population increase, industrialization, etc. Farming will be transform into autonomous and sensor based smart farming. 

I wondering how we can correlate with Internet of Things and Big data as because both are quite similar.
