I am a researcher who have ample knowledge and experience of narrative review but I have been given the task of writing a scoping review. I wanted to ask if it is possible for one reviewer to complete the scoping review as I have found studies with multiple reviewers working together. If one reviewer is enough what are possible steps for that?

Hello! Have any of you conducted a scoping review involving qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies? If so, how do you synthesize the data considering the various types (i.e., numerical, textual)? Additionally, when reviewing the studies, do you primarily focus on the findings section or the discussion section? Thank you!

I am deciding on search terms for a scoping review. I am planning searching 3 multidisciplinary databases and currently getting about 5000 hits from my search terms in the first database. What do you think is a good number or should I continue adding search terms to my list?
