I am trying to conduct research on the impact of terrorism on school climate and precisely on safety dimension of school climate. Safety dimension includes socio-emotional safety, physical safety, discipline and order, and guidance and counseling.
I used a self-develop questionnaire to measure the impact of terrorism on school safety climate. But I did not ask separate questions to measure terrorism. I used questions like " I feel insecure in school due to terrorism', " I feel insecure on my way to school due to terrorism." Similar questions were asked for other dimensions of school safety climate as well. The responses were recorded on 5 - point Likert scale ranging 1=strongly disagree to 5=strongly agree.
Does anyone know which test I can use to assess whether terrorism has an impact on school safety climate or not?
Further, the respondents are students, teachers, and administrative staff. So can I measure the differences on individual level?
