There are many measures to evaluate the model fits of a model, such as RMSE and r2. However, I am confused on how to compare the model fit of the following two simulations (SimA and SimB).

The RMSE of SimA is lower than SimB, implying SimA has better performance. However, the r2 of SimA is lower than SimB, implying SimB has better performance.

Are there any measures to evaluate that which simulation has better performance?
