How meaningful is the visualization of 3D designs?

I am looking at low level, manual work and the use of AR systems technology to increase efficiency or accuracy. Have any empirical studies been undertaken in this area?

The data provided by currently under going system is current user geographical location (latitude and longitude). The system is currently able to calculate and obtain a sequence of points (with latitude and longitude information in each point) that represents a navigation path from an origin to a destination.

The system is expected to be able to draw (display) the path in an Augmented Reality basis in an Android application.

Augmented Reality Facial Recognition for Mobile.

For example, when we attend a conference, we may use our mobile phones to take a photo or video of somebody, then that person's information, e.g., the name or occupation will display on the screen.

I want to make translator app in android. The app like 'word lens' . But this app will translate only the text within the directional or sign board,, then the translation result will be projected as an virtual object (augmented reality).. Help me!
