I am  been attempting to define "digital culture"?  Typically,  I might think about culture as a set of values, beliefs, artifacts, rituals and perhaps other characteristics that distinguish that culture from others.  Help,  how do you distinguish or define digital culture?

In this pandemic crisis, a growing number of participatory workshops are being transferred to the digital realm. However, transferring these practices to virtual spaces need from another kind of guidelines when implementing these activities due to the characterisitics of digital rooms.

Do you know of specific guidelines for virtual participatory workshops?

I would appreciate any pointers to good research on the role of technology in participatory art or culture projects. I am particularly interested in motivation for participation and how to configure participation.

I'm looking for ways to bridge digital divides on campus between those with digital confidence and those who are more digitally reluctant or resistant - who I call the digitally shy. Digital graduate attributes have become essential elements of employability yet many staff working in higher education are lacking in digital confidence and capabilities. I'm interested in collaborating with other academics or professional support staff who are working in this area.

The potential use of social network services (SNS) is being increasing debated in enabling participatory and connected learning culture in K-12 educational contexts. For instance, Ito et al. (2013) suggests that digital and networked media will help to mitigate digital divide between privileged and non-privileged youths by offering new ways of expanding the reach and accessibility of connected learning. However, research (e.g., Hughes et al., 2015; Keren-Kolb, 2010) indicates that pre-service teachers' adoption of SNS (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, blogs) was inclined towards personal rather than educational purpose. So how would you perceive about the opportunity of using SNS to encourage participatory and connected learning culture in the K-12 contexts?

If beacons would be wide-spread on a railway station, what cases would be interesting to use them? What electronically supported services for customer could be?

I would like to buy equipment to do participatory mapping studies. What I am looking for is a digital table (kind of like a giant i-pad) on which people can write with a special pen. The information can be saved in digital format and exported in mapping softwares (e.g. ArcGIS). The map can also be transfered to a screen on the wall. I have seen such a device before, but can't remember how it is called, what company makes it, how much it costs, etc.

Let that be for commercial or social communication - how is simultaneous media consumption is impacting the audience and the digital culture? There are interesting insights hidden here. Audience nowadays sees something in TV and immediately jumps to the phone to search based on a clue received from the TV. Clues from outdoor contents trigger people to immediately open their notepad and have a look - it can be a commercial communication or a social one. How this chain of media exposure is creating an increasing demand for integrated communication efforts? How contents are forming part and parcel of the chain process? Which media components and interfaces are primary here and how they are adjusting with the change? There should be an in-depth analysis on this. Applicable for brand promotion projects, explicit content projects and lot more.
