I am keen to know what are some of the burning topics in memory research in current time? What topics related to human memory are still being pursued that haven't been answered yet?

Is there a review article that might provide some intro to these topics?

I'm teaching the links between PM and WM and have a couple of articles but ideally need more to shown links between these two.

The politics of memory constitute an interesting scope of analysis when we are investigating individual and collective memory. Different government regimes, authoritarian or not (sometimes even in democracies), have for decades been reinforcing or even building memories aligned with their ideological goals. However, due to the panoply of approaches in the scope of social memory, which authors are essential in an investigation about the relationship between memory policies and individual and collective memory?

This is due to me finding that the DVN has improved performance of a visual memory task in one of my PhD studies.

I am writing a piece of coursework where I am looking into similarities and differences between eyewitness testimony and flashbulb memory. Any similarities and differences research which links the two would be appreciated as I am struggling to find any.

What are your guys experience and memories about riverscape?

These type of studies would help students & people with common type of memory problems, not clinically diagnosed amnesia.

The authors did a great job on this experiment, but it would of been nice if the participants were tested again several weeks later to determine the differences of long term memory storage between the two methods used.

Additionally, the authors should add actual feet movement capabilities to the Oculus Virtual 3D head tracked stereoscopic HMD, as well as add other sensory triggers such as sound in the 3D environment or an external stimulation such as a light electrical zap on an arm for example.

I think activating other sensory stimulates would cause more neurotransmitter activity in the brain potentially having a stronger affect on long term memory storage.

This was a great study though which I appreciate the authors for doing and I enjoyed reading it. Thank You.
