Can leakage current change its direction during direct voltage sweep from -40V to 0V?
Question
  • Jun 2016
During measurement of leakage current when a dielectric sample is given a cycle of reverse sweep voltage from say -40V to 40V to -40V it is found that current changes its direction while the sample was taking a sweep of voltage from -40V to 0V and also when it was taking sweep voltage from 40V to 0V. Would the pattern of obtained pattern of leakage current Vs direct voltage be different if reverse sweep cycle is given from 40V to -40V to 40V?

Will a reflective surface change its properties if a voltage is applied across it?
Question
  • Jul 2013
As far as I understand reflection happens when an electron absorbs a photon, is promoted to a higher energy level and then re-emits the photon as it drops back to ground state or wherever it started. If the electron, upon finding itself promoted to a conduction band is free to move in the electric field, it would seem that it should experience something of a p-n junction effect. Would this tend to change the reflective properties of the material?

How the IMU sensor ( VB3i IMU integration) records the data? Is there any particular documentation regarding its data recording technique?
Question
  • Aug 2016
I have collected data using the vehicle mounted VB3i IMU integration instrument set up. It is being observed that, the extracted data of LatAcc(m/s2) and LongAcc(m/s2) showing a completely different trend from the Y-Acc(m/s2) ans X-Acc(m/s2) for the same stretch and same time data. The Y-Acc and X-Acc plot shows a completely shifted trend from the Lat Acc (m/s2) and Long Acc (m/s2). Following are the queries regarding the data.
1. How the LatAcc(m/s2) is different from Y-Acc(m/s2) or LongAcc(m/s2) from X- Acc(m/s2)?
2. How the IMU sensor records the data? Is there any particular documentation regarding its data recording technique?

Does replacing Mn with Si powder in equi-atomic FeCoNiAlMn HEAP does it increase its soft magnetic properties of not or what effect?
Question
  • Apr 2021
I synthesized an Equiatomic FeCoNiAlMn High entropy alloy powder through mechanical alloying of about 45hrs. Since I am investigating its magnetic properties. So will replacement of Mn by Si powder increase its soft magnetic? What effect will it cause on magnetic properties of alloy? If anyone can guide me which element powder I can substitute in equi-atomic FeCoNiAlMn high entropy alloy powder mechanically Alloyed so that this alloy system can be used as a soft magnetic material.
