Colombia is engaged in a peace process and ecosystems have suffered from degradation due to the war (coca fields deforestation, land grabs for cattle ranching, oil infrastructure bombings, illegal gold mining). Assigning ecosystem restoration as sentences to excombatants could provide a way of creating also community restoration processes. any experiences in other settings on this wuld be much appreciated
