I am writing about women in educational leadership positions and I want to build a conceptual framework that takes into account feminist/critical theories. What do people recommend?

An honor killing is the homicide of a member of a family or social group by other members, due to the belief of the perpetrators that the victim has brought dishonor or shame upon the family or community. What is the role of society in influencing honor killings?

Have you ever worked with the term Postcolonial Intersectionality? Do you know other scholars than Sharlene Mollett, Sarah A. Radcliffe, and Ina Kerner who sought to explore the relationship between critical and black feminist approaches like Intersectionality with Postcolonial Theories? I do indeed believe that Postcolonial Intersectionality could be developed into a fruitful concept that analyzes multiple forms of oppression as well as structural discrimination and intersectional disparities in the postcolonial era that are embedded in heteronormative structures (for e.g. racialized, ableist, cis-normative and colonial assumptions) leading to various forms of social injustice and social exclusion of many marginalized groups.

I would be glad to hear your opinions and literature suggestions as I am currently working on this complex topic for a book publication.

Feminist theory is found in all the religions to reconsider the traditions, practices, scriptures and theologies of them from a feminist perspective. Some of the goals of feminist ideology include increasing the role of women among the religious authorities, reinterpreting male-dominated imagery and language about God, determining women’s place in relation to career and motherhood and studying images of women n the religion’s sacred texts and matriarchal religion. Spiritual feminism seeks to empower women spiritually and also a work of reconstructing women’s history. Most of the Feminists attempted to counter perceptions of women as morally or spiritually inferior to men. In this present paper titled: “A Study of Spiritual Feminism in the light of Sri Aurobindo” focuses on the spiritual feminist problems with special reference to the philosophical traditions of Sri Aurobindo. A spiritual reality is basis for all the things. The divine world is the eternal foundation on which the other worlds are built. In the supreme reality, all are equal men and women in rights and in duties. The only existence in this domain is based on the sincerity and ardour of aspiration, on the constancy of the will. If one identifies this fundamental spiritual reality that can be found the only serious solution for the problems of Feminism.

I am interested in literature/research or even better feminist theories that could explain the reproduction of gender stereotypes in ICT school books (Primary and/or Secondary Education) or general in Computer Science?
