Are there tools/codes available for collecting ResearchGate users' egocentric networks?

Hi,

I'm preparing a PhD proposal to study an egocentric network in primary health care setting in a low-middle income country feed with a name-generator survey. I have 2 questions:

1. Any suggestion to the minimum sampling size to keep the validity?

2. What is the estimated time to do an (egocentric) social network analysis of a sample size of X?

Any suggestions, references?

I want to get a graph and analyze the vascular network.

I tried  'NEFI' (NEFI: Network Extraction From Images) (nefi.mpi-inf.mpg.de), and  got a *.json and *.txt file.

The txt file seems to have the information of the nodes and edges with their location.

How can I import this files to the network analysis tool (like networkX)?

Or, is there any good way to extract graph from the network image?

I'm curious can it be possible to study ego-networks of a person/organization/bank/city etc. via using ERGM and SAOM? Which one is better for making a research?

My file consists in a list of edges with node attributes

Which tools can be used for that analysing?

Switching functions depends on directly connected machines by constructing MAC address table, routing table the same idea but the table of IPs. If the destination IP doesn't exist on the route table it requests DNS for that IP. So, can I make semantic route before requesting DNS. So, if the idea exists how we can achieve it?

Flow monitor module can not be used for Dynamic Source Routing  analysis.

So can you suggest any other tool for network Analysis(for finding PDR....)

Can i take P,Q,|V| as variables? My equation is

PLij=rij (Pij^2+Qij^2)/(Vj^2 )  But P,Q is also a function of |V|. The total loss will be some of the losses. How i can take variables? How i can find the initial values for this variables in SQP method. If i choose GA, how to select the chromosome, string length etc.
