El plan de estudio para la carrera Licenciatura en Cultura Física advierte la necesidad de formar un profesional capaz de argumentar sus criterios y acciones profesionales sobre la base de las ciencias sociales y psicopedagógicas, y de las aplicadas a la actividad física. El propósito del artículo es describir cómo el método de enseñanza Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos, modelado en una estrategia didáctica con acciones y operaciones que ofrecen orientación a estudiantes y docentes desde el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la asignatura Pedagogía de la actividad física, contribuye al desarrollo de la habilidad argumentar criterios y acciones profesionales como Licenciado en Cultura Física. Se empleó el enfoque cualitativo en un estudio no experimental transeccional descriptivo. El análisis de documentos permitió evaluar el desempeño de los estudiantes en los informes escritos, y confirma que la propuesta permite al estudiante integrar los conocimientos y habilidades para dirigir procesos pedagógicos inherentes a la Cultura Física en su ejercicio profesional, con las herramientas necesarias vinculadas a cómo aprender a aprender, aprender a hacer y aprender a ser un Licenciado en Cultura Física, capaz de argumentar sus criterios y acciones profesionales.

The review of written works of a group of students from the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Culture showed little relationship between the justification of the ideas and the theoretical bases offered by the recommended literature, and little organization of the ideas in the development of the written text. The objective of the article is to describe the main results of the use of written argumentative text to contribute to the development of argumentation and the use of said skill as an instrument for the appropriation of knowledge of the subject Pedagogy of physical activity. The analysis of documents confirmed the progress of the students during the course of the subject's topics. The study confirms that the preparation of the written argumentative text improves the students' results in the appropriation of subject knowledge; It favors the production of arguments and the relationship of the justification of ideas with the theoretical bases offered by literature.
