What is this page?
This page lists the scientific contributions of an author, who either does not have a ResearchGate profile, or has not yet added these contributions to their profile.
It was automatically created by ResearchGate to create a record of this author's body of work. We create such pages to advance our goal of creating and maintaining the most comprehensive scientific repository possible. In doing so, we process publicly available (personal) data relating to the author as a member of the scientific community.
If you're a ResearchGate member, you can follow this page to keep up with this author's work.
If you are this author, and you don't want us to display this page anymore, please let us know.

In this paper, we propose an SLVA-aided turbo decoding scheme for free-space optical (FSO) communication systems. FSO communication is a promising solution for high-rate point-to-point communication, but its performance is severely corrupted by the effects of strong atmospheric turbulence. Simulation results show that our proposed decoding scheme o...
In this paper, we propose an efficient Ordered statistic decoding (OSD)-aided turbo decoding algorithm for LTE turbo codes to improve the error performance of conventional turbo decoding. More significant performance gain can be achieved for short codes and high-rate punctured codes. Considering the Log-likelihood ratio (LLR) oscillation, we introd...

... Reliability-based soft decision decoding using ordered statistics decoding (OSD) algorithm (Isaka et al., 2002) improves coding gain for short or moderate length codewords but is associated with high computational complexity. Accumulated log likelihood ratio (LLR) is used as reliability information along with OSD for short block high punctured rate LTE turbo codes, in which encoder-based bit flipping is used (Xu et al., 2012). Hybrid decoding algorithm that combines CRC and reliabilitybased OSD achieves a coding gain of 0.5-2 dB in short block length codes (Fossorier, 2002). ...
