Background and Aim: In 2017 and 2022, the Ministry of Education promoted all-round youth development, demonstrating the country's strong emphasis on physical education in schools. The aim was to enhance students' physical and mental health as well as their overall development. In response to the national initiative, the Ministry of Education has supported the integration of moral education across various academic disciplines. Therefore, the objectives of this research were 1) to develop a teaching and learning model by integrating political education and physical education for university students; 2) to implement the university teaching design; and 3) to evaluate the effects of integrating political education and physical education in the teaching design for university students. Materials and Methods: In this research, the researcher followed these steps: First, relevant research documents related to the curriculum of political education and physical education were studied. Then, feedback on teaching and learning models integrating political education and physical education for university students was collected. After obtaining the research structure, the opinions of 17 experts were gathered using the Delphi method in two rounds. The model obtained was then confirmed by 9 experts using the Connoisseurship method. In this research, mean, standard deviation, percentage, median, and interquartile range were used to analyze the data. Results: The research found that the teaching and learning model by integrating political education and physical education for university students was divided into 8 components, 16 factors, and 43 indicators. 8 key components were as follows: (1) class objective and goals; (2) teaching design; (3) teaching method; (4) assessment and evaluation; (5) resource and materials; (6) teachers support; (7) implementation strategy; (8) students learning attitude. Conclusion: The teaching and learning model by integrating political education and physical education for university students covered all aspects of education, combining knowledge of political concepts with knowledge of physical education. This model was innovative and highly effective.

Development of Training Program to Improve Specific Fitness and Wushu Taolu Skills for Youth Athletes

Background and Aims: Nowadays, whether it is an amateur training team or a professional training team, they only use special training methods and some conventional training methods to strengthen athletes' Specific fitness and quality, focusing more on muscle strength exercises. Such training methods are not systematic or comprehensive. Traditional Specific fitness training may have adverse effects on athletes' performance in some cases. Overemphasis on specific fitness training and neglect of comprehensive training can lead to imbalances and increase the risk of injury. The purpose of this study was to develop of training program to improve specific fitness and Wushu Taolu skills for youth athletes. Methodology: This study was a mixed method; it combines quantitative and qualitative research. The sample of this study consisted of 8 experts and 30 male youth Wushu athletes aged between 9-12 years old. They were divided into 2 groups by systematic method. Training program design begins with an analysis of factors affecting specific fitness and Wushu Taolu skills. After that, the information was synthesized and consulted with experts through a focus group method. The content validity value (IOC) was 0.87. The experiment duration was 8 weeks. Wushu Taolu's skills and specific fitness were tested by pre-test and post-test and compared using the independent t-test. As for Wushu Taolu skills were tested by pre-test, mid-test, and post-test using the comparison analysis one-way ANOVA repeated measures, then pairwise with Bonferroni post hoc (*p<.05 Results found that:1) Before the experimental the specific fitness result between groups of standing long jump test results was a significant difference (*p<.05). Post experimental the specific fitness result between groups of shuttles run test results was not a significant difference. The test result between the experimental group and control group of Wushu Taolu skills, before the experiment found that all Wushu Taolu skills pairwise were not significantly different. Post experimental found that all Wushu Taolu skills pairwise were significantly different (*p<, 05). The comparison of the Wushu Taolu skills test within the experimental group found that all Wushu Taolu skills in the experimental group had a significant difference (*p <.05). Conclusion: The training program can improve specific fitness and Wushu Taolu skills for youth athletes.


Development of Multimedia Teaching Content for Basketball in High School

Background and Aim: In the continuous development of information technology, the global education sector has been greatly impacted by the globalization of information, the application of modern information technology can be seen everywhere, which will profoundly change education. Modern information technology with network and multimedia technology as the core has been applied in physical education teaching in schools and universities. It is necessary to reform and upgrade the traditional education mode and develop multimedia teaching methods. Therefore, this research was to develop multimedia teaching content for basketball in high school, to promote the use of multimedia technology in physical education teaching. Materials and Methods: The survey included 516 students and 35 teachers from 10 high schools in Guangzhou, questionnaire was used to investigate the current situation of basketball teaching. Then, 7 teachers were interviewed to consult the problem solutions, and the indicator contents of multimedia teaching content for basketball in high school was constructed by literature review and content analysis. Through 19 Delphi experts’ consensus, multimedia teaching content for basketball in high school was established. Finally, 9 experts were invited to confirm the developed multimedia teaching content by the Connoisseurship method. In this research, mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation were used to analyze the data. Results: After two rounds of Delphi method investigation, statistics, and modification, there are 92 indicators suitable for using multimedia in high school basketball teaching content. The content of high school multimedia basketball teaching is designed and includes the origin and development of basketball, sports injuries, and prevention, basic movement of a basketball player, dribble technique, one-handed marching shot, basic movement of a basketball player, basic basketball rules, shoot technique, pass technique, defend technique, breakthrough technique, advanced dribbling, steal technique, zone cooperation, pick and roll and defense, attacking match, fast break and defense, one-on-one check, offensive zone defense. Conclusion: The multimedia teaching content for basketball high school in Guangzhou was effective and appropriate, and can be integrated into the teaching plan.

Designation of Battery Test to Evaluate Aerobic Gymnastic Athlete’s Performance

Background and Aim: The performance of China's aerobic gymnasts in international competitions has seen a significant decline over the past decade, following notable successes from 2000 to 2012. In recent years, certain training issues from the past have gradually come to light. Consequently, it holds great significance to delve into the factors and standards influencing the competitive performance of high-level aerobic gymnastic athletes. This study aims to develop a comprehensive battery test to assess and enhance the performance of high-level aerobic gymnasts, addressing existing training inadequacies and competition underperformance. Materials and Methods: This study was a mix of methods of research and development that followed: (1) reviewing relevant literature on the competitive abilities of aerobic gymnastic athletes, initially selecting influencing factors, and establishing an indicator evaluation system; (2) conducting expert interviews and inviting 9 experts to modify and optimize the indicator system; (3) organizing focus group discussions and inviting 19 experts for consultation to further optimize the indicator system and testing content; and (4) developing testing content, operational procedures, and evaluation criteria for the evaluation indicator system, and conducting correlation tests. Data were primarily analyzed using mean, standard deviation, median, two-class imbalance rate, coefficient of variation, and correlation. Results: The results found that (1) the factors that affect Chinese aerobic gymnastics athletes' performance include physical performance (physical form, physical function, and physical fitness), skills, and choreography; (2) the battery test, consists of 3 physical form tests, 6 physical function tests, 7 physical fitness tests, 3 skill tests, 3 mental tests, and 6 choreography tests; and (3) after conducting test-retest reliability and organizing the data from both tests, the values ranged from 0.73 to 0.97, which indicated that the data from various tests had high reliability and validity. Conclusion: A comprehensive battery test assesses these factors, including physical, skills, mental, and choreographic aspects. The test's reliability and validity are high.


Development of A Comprehensive Test for Talent Identification in Chinese Youth Racewalking Athletes

Background and Aim: Talent identification forms the foundation of competitive sports. Scientific selection of young people with strong athletic talent and potential to compete in sports training is key to developing high-level athletes and achieving excellent athletic results. Therefore, this study aims to develop a comprehensive test for talent identification in Chinese youth racewalking athletes. Materials and Methods: This is a research and experimental development (R&D) study. There are approximately 300 youth racewalkers in China, and this study is implemented in 115 athletes. The main steps and methods of the study are as follows: (1) Literature review and content analysis, search and sort out the factors related to excellent racewalking performance; (2) Invite 7 experts to fill in the semi-structured questionnaire and form a preliminary draft of the comprehensive test; (3) Invite 21 experts to conduct a Delphi evaluation of the comprehensive test content and revise the comprehensive test; (4) Implement the comprehensive test and analyze the data, select the key test through correlation analysis, and conduct a Test-retest analysis to confirm test reliability; (5) Complete the second round of Delphi evaluation and to construct the final comprehensive test and norms. Results: The final comprehensive test for talent identification in Chinese youth racewalking athletes includes five aspects: anthropometric, physiological, physical fitness, skill, and psychology. The comprehensive test for males included 11 items as follows: (1) Pelvic Width; (2) Thigh Length; (3) Calf Length; (4) VO2 max; (5) 400m Run; (6) 3000m Run; (7) 1000m Racewalking; (8) Sit and Reach; (9) Willpower; (10) Mental Resilience; and (11) Expectation of Winning. The comprehensive test for females included 8 items as follows: (1) Thigh Length; (2) Calf Length; (3) VO2 max; (4) 400m Run; (5) 1000m Racewalking; (6) Standing Long Jump; (7) Willpower; and (8) Motivation to Participate. Conclusion: The holistic evaluation of Chinese youth racewalking athletes encompasses a diverse range of factors, from physical dimensions to psychological attributes, reflecting a nuanced understanding of talent beyond mere physical prowess.


Construction of an Intensive Training Program for Badminton Reserve Players Before Team Selection Match

Background and Aim: This research was an intensive training program for badminton reserve players to select matches. The objective was to 1) construct an intensive training program for badminton reserve players before team selection matches,2) study the effect of an intensive training program for badminton reserve players before team selection matches on physical fitness and badminton skills, 3) compare physical fitness and badminton skill within the experimental group between the pre-test, after week 4, and post-test, and 4) to compare badminton skills and mental fitness between pre-match and post-match competitions. Materials and Methods: This quasi-experimental research involved the purposive sampling method of 26 youth badminton members from the Dongguan Xianghong Badminton Club in Guangzhou, dividing the subjects into specific events of badminton competition, such as men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. The intensive training program was developed by the researcher, content validated with an index of item objective congruence (IOC) of 0.83, that with the first six weeks, they trained in technical, physical fitness, and strength training; in the last 2 weeks, they trained specific techniques and tactics, eight weeks duration, five days per week. All subjects were examined before training on the pre-match competition and mental fitness, then the pre-test on badminton skills and physical fitness. They conducted the training program, the test after week 4, and the post-test. In the final, they were examined on the post-match competition and mental fitness. Data analysis, the mean was compared between the pre-test, after week 4, and post-test with one-way ANOVA repeated measurement, and Bonferroni pairwise post hoc. The mean comparison of match competition between pre-match with post-match competition and mental fitness was conducted by t-test dependent. Results: (1) Mean comparison between pre-match competitions and post-match, all badminton skills and mental fitness showed significant differences. (2) Mean comparison of badminton skills between pre-test, after weeks 4 and post-test, all of pairwise were significant differences. And (3) Mean comparison of physical fitness between the pre-test, after weeks 4 and post-test, all of pairwise were significant differences. Conclusion: An intensive Training program for Badminton can improve badminton skills, physical fitness, and mental fitness for reserve players before a team selection match.

Development of Community Youth Badminton Training Program to Improve Health Related Physical Fitness and Badminton Skills

Background: It is particularly important to improve the overall physical level of adolescents through sports, and while teenagers actively participate in sports activities, they can improve their physical fitness and improve their psychological endurance. Therefore, this research aims to develop community youth badminton training programs to improve health-related physical fitness and badminton skills and study the effects of badminton on adolescents' body elements before and after the experiment. Methodology: The subjects were 30 badminton students with simple random sampling to examine the pre-test of muscle strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory capacity, flexibility, body composition, and badminton skills. Then the training was carried out according to a community youth badminton training program for 2.50 hours a day, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), for 8 weeks. The intermediate and post-test data after the 4th and 8th weeks were prepared, the mean and standard deviation were analyzed, one-way ANOVA repeated measures were used to compare the differences, and Bonferroni was used for post-hoc paired comparison. The significance level was set at.05 Results: (1) The mean comparison between the post-test with the pre-test and after week 4 with the post-test of push-ups 60-sec test, sit-ups 60-sec test, sit and reach test, multi-fitness test, muscle mass, and Fat percentage were statistically significant. (2) The mean comparison between the post-test with the pre-test and after week 4 with the pre-test of basic badminton skills were significant differences. Conclusion: After the fourth training week, the data points to a considerable improvement in several fitness metrics as well as body composition. Notable improvements in fundamental badminton abilities were also noted after the intervention period. Thus, community youth badminton training programs can improve health-related physical fitness.

The Effects of Scapular Stability Training on Serve Speed and Accuracy in College Tennis Players from the Perspective of the Kinetic Chain

Background and Aim: In the tennis serve, the scapula serves as the bony connection between the core, spine, and shoulder. It is the main fulcrum of the body's dynamic chain transmission and plays a very important role in the energy transfer process of the upper limb movement. The objective of this research was to study the effect of scapular stability training in the service kinetic chain on the speed and accuracy of the tennis serve. Materials and Methods: 16 college tennis players from Guangzhou Polytechnic of Sports were randomly selected for this study as a sample group, and divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 8 students for each group (4 males and 4 females). The period of training was 8 weeks. After the tennis training class, only the experimental group will perform scapula stability training twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) for 60 minutes each time. This research used literature methods, expert interviews, experiments, and mathematical statistics to conduct experimental research and theoretical analysis on the effects of scapula stability training on the serving speed and accuracy of college tennis players Results: The results showed that 8 weeks of scapula stability training had a significant effect on improving the stability of athletes' scapula. The scapula stability of the control group (6.81±1.09) and the scapula stability of the experimental group (9.45±1.33). Scapula stability training has a significant effect on the serving accuracy of college tennis players. The serving accuracy of the control group (30.38±5.34) and the serving accuracy of the experimental group (35.50±2.67). Scapula stability training has no significant effect on the serve speed of college tennis players. The serve speed of the control group (136.80±23.89) and the serve speed of the experimental group (122.12±35.71). Conclusion: The results showed that scapular stability and serve accuracy in the experimental group were significantly higher than in the control group (p < 0.05). In terms of serving speed, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group (p>.05). Within the experimental group, there were significant improvements in scapular stability, serve accuracy, and serve speed before and after the experiment (p < 0.05).

Background and Aims: The physical decline of college students is greatly affected by the modern lifestyle. College students sit in bad posture for a long time and use electronic products for a long time, and at the same time lack exercise, resulting in increasingly serious restrictions on the functional movement of the body. In this regard, we hope to use modern advanced technology to build an application that can guide college students with functional movement limitations to perform physical training. This paper aims; (1) To investigate the limitations of functional movements among college students. (2) To design physical exercise prescriptions for reduction of functional movement limitation. (3) To construct an application for physical exercise prescription for reduction of functional movement limitation. (4) To experience the application to compare the reduction of functional movement limitation with pre-test and post-test. Materials and Methods: In the two flexible test movements of active straight leg raise and shoulder flexible in FMS, we added 4 and 12 observation factors by Modify Delphi. After the physical exercise prescription was investigated by the expert IOC, all the content was recognized by the expert. Based on the preliminary content, we have built the Physical Exercise Prescription Application for Reduction of Functional Movement Limitation with an exact validity value equal to 1 and reliability while conducting the Chi-Square test of the application and expert group, we found that the application and experts are consistent. For physical exercise prescriptions, we compared the application and experts to find that the Chi-Square value is between 1 to 3 and has a large consistency. The Chi-Square Value of the evaluation process is 0.087, and the consistency evaluated by the application and experts is as high as 76.8%. Results: We used the application to conduct an 8-week experimental intervention of 35 college students. Using the physical exercise prescriptions recommended by the application, through the t-test, students' shoulder flexibility and active straight leg raise are raised significantly (P <0.05). Conclusion: The application can solve the problem of functional movement limitation of college students. In the future, with the increase of capital investment and the expansion of data volume, the application will be able to solve the basic problems of functional movement limitation to more different levels of motion pyramids. To encourage to exanthem case more healthily.

An Application of Dynamic Layer Teaching Program to Enhance a Learning Outcome in Basic Badminton Course for College Students

Background and Aims: Currently, physical education teachers should shift their teaching methods towards “paying more attention to the individual difference among the students” according to the concepts of “student-centered” and “individual difference”. Therefore, the objective of this research was to develop a dynamic layered teaching program to enhance badminton learning outcomes in college students on badminton skills and techniques, knowledge, attitude, social development, physical fitness, and mental fitness. Materials and Methods: The population of this study was 240 students of the academic year 2023 students at Guangzhou Sport University who take badminton as an elective course. This research randomly sampled two male classes with 64 students to serve as the experimental group and the control group, and each group consists of 32 male students, divided into two groups by systematic method based on badminton skills tests. The experimental group taught with a dynamic layered teaching program and the control group taught with a traditional teaching program. The research instrument was the dynamic layered teaching program in badminton which has been quality checked by trying out with 3 students, 9 students, and 30 students to find the efficiency of the program (E1/E2 = 70/70). The total duration of the experiment was 8 weeks, 3 sessions a week, and 2 hours a session. The subjects in the experimental group were divided into low-skill, medium-skill, and high-skill based on badminton skills tests. The data were analyzed with paired t-tests, independent t-tests, and descriptive statistics. Results: The dynamic layered teaching program in badminton had more significant advantages than the traditional teaching program in enhancing badminton skills and techniques, knowledge, attitude, social development, and mental health. However, there were no significant differences observed in physical fitness. Conclusion: The dynamic layered teaching program in badminton can enhance badminton learning outcomes in college students and provide an effective approach for personalized instruction and targeted training. However, there were no significant differences observed in physical fitness indicators. These findings support the promotion and application of dynamic layered teaching programs in physical education.
