We are discussing up-to-date approsch to the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS). MS diagnosis is complex, and diagnostic mathods can be divided into four groups: clinical, neurophysiological, labratory and imaging method. New methods for diagnosis of MS based on eiology and pathophysiology of the process, with special accent to the newly laboratory diagnostic methods, are specially discussed. Results obrained on our own MS patients using new diagnostic metho9ds are shown too.
