... Community growth rates were estimated for the best-sampled sites using the fish biomass monitoring and published growth rate of the common coral reef families. Growth rates of each family were estimated from summarized growth rates using FishBase summaries compiled for common species within each sampled family, multiplied by the wet weight of each family, and summed for all fishable individuals >10 cm and families caught by fishers (McClanahan, 2015a).
