El artículo explica la necesidad de establecer diálogos interepistémicos entre feministas occidentales y no occidentales. Ofrece una reflexión sobre el devenir de los feminismos occidentales para mostrar sus límites emancipadores, que son congruentes con los límites emancipadores del proyecto moderno. Argumenta que los feminismos occidentales han reproducido algunas de las características del patriarcado que la modernidad consolidó a escala mundial, como son su carácter colonial, clasista, racista y «epistemicida».

This paper explains why establishing inter-epistemic dialogues between Western and non-Western feminists is needed. It reflects on Western feminisms becoming, so that their emancipating boundaries are made evident, which are congruent with the emancipating boundaries of the modern project. It argues Western feminisms have reproduced some features of patriarchy, which were reinforced globally by modernity, namely, its colonial, classist, racist, and "epistemicide" nature.
