Using chemicals, even for a particular purpose, is common in all industries and may sometimes result in accidents. Chemicals may corrode, poison, and react, often explosively, when exposed to them. In the case of a chemical leak, there is a protocol in place to protect the eyes and skin, known as the "eyewash and shower," which provides first aid by washing the toxins off a person. The goal of this work is to propose an approach to making this system more accessible and user-friendly.

Safety audit and Inspection Study on Health, Safety and Welfare of Textiles to develop the worker safety in Indian textile industries. This manuscript contains the details on the hazards and risk level present in one of south India's leading textile industry. This study method and result of the HIRA process. The HIRA technique is adopted in the old rotary printing department, dyeing department, chemical department, boiler section, power house, ETP/RO to assess the risk levels in terms of quantified values. Control measures were also developed for each and every area identified with potential safety issues. Identified hazards majorly categorized under Physical, chemical, ergonomics, material handling, health and electrical hazards. The risk level is quantified for all the hazards in the printing and dyeing department, chemical, power house, ETP/RO by multiplying the values of severity and probability. The RPN (Risk priority number) has been finding out for all the hazards in the textile industry done for the hazard with highest RPN.
... Based on research from Ashokkumar et al., 2021, shows that the implementation of the HIRA method in the textile industry found various dangers in the production process. Especially in dyeing and printing units which have a very high level of risk and require immediate control measures. ...
